Abstract

Inventory management deals with determining the exact time and quantity of order to support the production plan. Excessive inventories incur extra cost while insufficient inventories can ruin the production schedule, hurting both the strategic value elements of delivery dependability and speed. This indicates that inventory is a crucial element of the production process. This literature review is addressed to the management of inventory in manufacturing process as well as the one in remanufacturing separately, and at the end, the inventory management in system where manufacturing and remanufacturing process occur simultaneously. Recommendations for future work are proposed at the end of this review.

Abstract

UD. Husein is one of the small craft industry in the pearl oysters that if the craft is high art, including calligraphy patterned, Gethsemane, and Wild Horse.UD. Hussein to procure raw materials are still the traditional way or by virtue of estimates. Demand fluctuations over time lead to the need for inventory planning by forecasting future needs is used mendatang.Peramalan SeriesMoving Time Average and Exponential Smoothing.Tingkat Single items of interest can be seen from the critical level of goods, the use of speed or level of benefits that can be achieved and by capital absorption rate by classification ABC Analysis. Inventory planning of raw materials using Multi Item Inventory Model (FOI, FOQ and Combined). Results of research conducted can be seen that the largest capital absorbs pearl, profiles, velvet cloth and glass. Single exponential smoothing forecasting with α = 0.5 has an error value tekecil and inventory models have a combined total inventory costs at a minimum of one year with a frequency that is equal Rp. 41.502.500 optimal ordering 1 time / year in cost savings for raw materials inventory Rp.4.871 .650.

Abstract

Trash is a problem that needs to be managed properly, because if not, will have an impact and a significant risk to human life both in terms of aesthetics but especially in terms of health. So the quality of management that will be performed to determine the quality / environmental health degree there. This study was aimed to analyze the reliability of various systems associated with handling and processing of solid waste in the city of Balikpapan. System reliability analysis performed on dry and wet garbage container, garbage collection system (wagon wheels 2), TPS systems and Container and waste transportation system from TPS to TPA. The results showed that the reliability of the pattern of waste management in the city of Balikpapan in general is Andal (safe).

Abstract

PT. X is one of the companies engaged in chemical industry production base with sulfuric acid and aluminum sulfate. To be able to produce a product according to customers spesification, PT. X wanted to make improvements in the process, especially in procurement division. It relates to the process of selecting suppliers for the supply of raw materials in the production process. Problems encountered in this study is to determine the supplier selection and allocation of orders in accordance with the company spesification. Goal programming method to determine the allocation of orders to suppliers. The purpose of this research is to be able to meet optimal solutions in selecting suppliers accordance to company criteria. The results of this study is to count the allocation order to the supplier of sulfur: (1) Standard Chemical Corp.. Pte.Ltd of 3.646,7 tons, (2) PT. Lautan Luas of 803,3 tons, (3) PT. Yosomulyo Jajag of 300 tons, (4) CV. Archindo of 150 tons, with a minimum price of sulfur for $ 513.720. Allocation orders to suppliers of aluminum hydroxide: (1) Bisindo Kencana 3.000 tons, (2) Hindalco Industries Limited 1.114 tons, (3) Sumitomo of 1.946 tons, (4) Chemindus SDN BHD to 890 tons, with a minimum price aluminium hydroxide for $ 2.137.578.

Abstract

This study intends to look at the characteristics of current drawn by the dc motor when supplied by a single- phase diode rectifier. Characteristics of this current will depend on the output of a single-phase sinusoidal rectifier and electrical characteristics of dc motors. Assessments carried out by modeling a single-phase diode rectifier in order to obtain output voltage equation. Next modeled as a series dc motor electric ekiuvalen thus obtained mathematical model. By using Kirchoff Voltage Law is obtained first order differential equation is not homogeneous due to the excitation voltage ac source. This equation contains the parameters of the current as a function of time. Electric current equation is then simulated to obtain the dc motor input current curve as a function of time or current dc motor moment. The result is a instantanous current characteristic curve dc motor function of time, steady-state current at t = 0, and the average current which is a dc currents.

Abstract

In course of hot water mixing and the cool water, we are given on how manay hot water and the cool water pouring into the mixing column of second. This research target is to determine tendency (fast trend) ratio of hot current with temperature 60 0C to accelerate the cool current with 10 0C of mixing column with temperature yelded gyrate from 45 0C till 25 0C. Benefit expected from this research is deepen theory thermodynamics and fluid mechanics and technique application and for the related / relevant technological science area especially with mixing column making (mixing chamber). Methodologies weared in this research is descriptive methodologies that is analyse a steady stream from hot water and the cool water entering an mixing column and which also yield warm water. From hot water mixing at temperature 60 0C with cool water at temperature 10 0C, yielding warm water with temperature which vary from 45 0C till temperature 25 0C yield fast ratio degradation of hot current to cool water with variation of, y from 2,34 till 0,43 (downhill).

Abstract

Research about customer satisfaction at the dealer MPM Honda motor cycle dealer has been conducted to investigate the appropriateness between customer needs and satisfactions. The problem become more crisis when the sale level at dealer MPM decrease. The purpose of knowing the priority attribut is dealer MPM become know their customer satisfactions so they can formulate the right marketing strategic for them. Collecting and analyzing data from quistioner give attribut value about motor cycle service quality that is wanted by the customer and this data also gives technical responds for dealer MPM. QFD analysis gives HOQ result that show customer priority attributes, these are the speed and accuracy of service process, monthly installment is attainable, low down payment, service after sales and giving special discount. The gaps of customer needs priority show that service quality of dealer MPM are not satisfaction the customer yet. It can be seen that a few attributes have negative value from the gap and from SWOT analysis we can see that dealer MPM position is in first room the space between strenght, opportunity, so we support strategic. Priority strategic that is being suggested are giving the price variation, spreading pamphlets, doing cooperation with liasing and bank, creating surprise packet, doing promotion at village and giving special discount.
