Abstract

The study aims to determined the effect of the level of debt financing and equity financing on the profit expense ratio in islamic banks. This study uses a quantitative method with a population of 16 companies. The technique used in this study was purposive sampling, in order to obtain a sample of 6 companies with a total of 12 data spanning the 2018-2021 observation years. The test tool used is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis using SPSS 23. The results show that debt financing has no effect on the profit expense ratio. Meanwhile, equity financing has an influence on the profit expense ratio.

Abstract

This research was conducted aimed at analyzing the Influence of Profitability, Leverage, dan Good Corporate Governance is notfacing the Value of the Company. This research was conducted on food & beverage subsector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2017-2021. The sample determination method in this study uses the purposive sampling method with a sample of 18 food & beverage subsector manufacturing companies that have met the sample criteria. The study used multiple linear regression analysis techniques and used SEM PLS 3.2.6 statistical test tool. The results of this study Profitability have a positive and significant effect on Company Value, Leverage does not affect company value, Good Corporate Governance has a positive and significant effect on Company Value.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine and analyze the influence of intellectual capital, financial stability on stock price performance with audit quality as moderating. The sample used in this study was a consumer goods sector company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2014-2019. The populations in this study were 52 Consumer goods companies. Purposive sampling was used as a sampling technique so that the total samples used were 18 companies in the consumer goods sector. The method used in this study was a quantitative method which can be obtained by calculating and recording secondary data from the financial statements on the IDX for the 2014-2019 period. The results of this study stated that intellectual capital had effect on stock price performance, financial stability and audit quality had no effect on stock price performance. For moderating, audit quality can moderate the effect of intellectual capital on stock price performance, while audit quality can not moderate the effect of financial stability on the performance of stock prices. Based on these results, recommendations for further research are expected to modify the research model and increase the research period.

Abstract

In environmental cleanliness, there are many tourist attractions that do not maintain the cleanliness of the environment both from tourists and managers themselves. So that there needs to be awareness to maintain the environment around tourist destinations. This study aims to determine the effect of environmental management and comfort on tourist satisfaction. The sample of this study were 66 tourists of Kampung Wisata Sawah Pematang Johar, Kecamatan Labuhan Deli Kabupaten Deli Serdang Provinsi Sumatera Utara. The data analysis method used in this research is descriptive quantitative, while the data analysis model used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. This hypothesis testing uses the coefficient of determination test, partial test and simultaneous test. The results of this study indicate that partially and simultaneously environmental management and comfort have no effect on tourist satisfaction in Kampung Wisata Sawah Pematang Johar. This study recommends that tourist attraction managers must maintain tourist satisfaction, especially in terms of managing the environment and comfort, so that this will increase the number of visits. Object managers must be able to manage Kampung Wisata Sawah Pematang Johar better so that the needs of tourists are met, and tourists can come back and even invite other tourists to come visit.

Abstract

The proliferation of coffee shops creates intense competition. Coffee shop managers are competing to provide excellent service to all consumers, such as coffee quality, completeness of food / beverage companions, visitor comfort and safety, coffee shop design, to try to increase the electability of the brand owned or what is referred to as brand image. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an influence of Instagram social media marketing on brand image at the Dukku Riang Coffee Shop Medan. The sample for this research is 76 people from the number of followers of the account @dukku.riang. Sampling using simple random sampling, namely the determination of samples that provide equal opportunity to each member of the population to be sampled. Sampling using the Slovin formula. Data analysis used the Simple Regression test, while data processing used SPSS. The results of the study show that Instagram social media marketing affects brand image at Dukku Riang Coffee Shop Medan.

Abstract

The emergence of the Covid-19 era has affected various aspects of people's lives where this also influences the consumer behavior of the community which consists of the variables of viral marketing, impulse buying, and customer trust. This study aims to determine the impact of changes in consumer behavior during the Covid-19 pandemic. The data collection technique was carried out using non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique and distributed through questionnaires through social media. The population used is active users of social media and the Shopee application in the city of Bandung. The targeted number of respondents is 115 respondents. The path analysis technique is used as a data exposure technique and is processed with the help of the SPSS application. This study reveals the results where viral marketing has an effect on impulse buying and customer trust, while customer trust does not affect impulse buying, and also customer trust does not mediate the indirect effect of viral marketing on impulse buying.

Abstract

Food products are products of primary human needs, so they are needed. In Muslim societies, food products have provisions related to halal food so that they comply with the Shari'a. However, many products, especially in Indonesia, are still unclear about their halal status, which can influence buying interest. In addition, public awareness of halal is also important because it is considered to influence buying interest. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of halal certification and halal awareness on consumer buying interest. This research method is a quantitative method with primary data in the form of interviews using a Likert scale. The results showed that halal certification had a significant positive effect on consumer buying interest as indicated by the tcount (5.946) > ttable (1.971). The more products that have halal certificates, the more consumers' buying interest will increase. Then the results of the study also show that halal awareness has a positive effect on consumer buying interest as indicated by the tcount (8.640) > ttable (1.971). That is, the higher the awareness of halal, the higher the consumer's buying interest.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of financial literacy and financial inclusion on the performance of MSMEs. This research is a quantitative research that uses primary data with data collection techniques through questionnaires that are distributed directly to MSMEs in Aru Islands Regency, Maluku. Data processing was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis. The results in this study indicate that financial literacy has a positive effect on the performance of MSMEs and financial inclusion does not affect the performance of MSMEs. Implications of the research for MSMEs who have the ability and knowledge to manage finances effectively wiil be able to improve the performance of the businesses they run and the result of this research are used as input for MSMEs to pay attention to financial literacy and financial inclusion to improve the current performance.

Abstract

Abundant availability of natural resources is not a guarantee for the welfare of community who live around them. The natural resources in archipelagic areas have their own diversity, both in terms of their utilization types and patterns. Coconut plants in the copra farming is one of the examples. This study aims to analyze determinants of poverty of copra farmers and contribution of copra farming to farmer household income. The research was conducted in Labuan Village, Nort West Seram District, Central Maluku Regency. There was a total of 35 respondents consisting of copra farmers participating in this study in April – June 2022. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation and questionnaires with the primary data source coming from copra farmers in Labuan Village. While data analysis is done by first calculating production costs, receipts, income analysis and business contributions. The results show that the copra farming was the income for the farmer households reaching IDR 4,794,304 and the production cost reached IDR 972,273. However, the copra farming contribution to the farmer household income was still relatively low at only 3.49%. Meanwhile, the determinants of poverty of copra farmers included limited access to assets, lack of capital, poor level of skills, and limited markets. As a result of these vulnerabilities, the farmers were required to look for new alternative income sources as a strategy to maintain their household livelihood.

Abstract

The background of this research is that some business operators have practiced or used e-commerce in their business activities, namely, in the Sunter Agung Village, North Jakarta. This research aims to identify the effect of advertising and product innovation on the performance of MSMEs during the Covid-19 pandemic with an e-commerce moderator. Advertising and Product Innovation are the independent variables and the performance of SMEs as the dependent variable in this research. In this research there is also a moderating variable, namely E-Commerce. Procedure for analyzing information using SmartPLS. The population in this research is MSMEs in the Sunter Agung Village, North Jakarta. Respondents in this study were taken using purposive sampling and produced 100 respondents. The analytical method in this study uses path analysis. The research results show that advertising has a positive and significant effect on MSME performance, product innovation has a positive and significant impact on MSME performance, E-commerce has a significant positive effect on MSME performance. Next, advertisements moderated by E-commerce have a negative and significant impact on the performance of MSMEs. Conversely, Product Innovation moderated by E-commerce has a positive and significant impact on the performance of MSMEs.
