Abstract

Preservation of local culture can be finish with various activities, which is an art performance. Through the Heman Ka Budak performance, conducted by Dinas Pendidikan dan Budaya (Disdikbud) of Kuningan District, West Java, it produces of arts and cultural-themed activities that are routinely every week at the Car Free Day event. The purpose of this Social Responsibility is to increase the pride of Sundanese culture by the community, especially teenagers and the support of many parties in preserving local culture. In dealing with the problem of lack of public awareness in preserving local culture, evaluations through the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) technique, which of Dinas Pendidikan dan Budaya (Disdikbud), artists as a participated in the activities of Heman ka Budak. In the FGD, Heman ka Budak activities faced of obstacles in the preservation this Sundanese culture. In addition to not getting funds to support activities, such as transportation costs for performers, consumption, and other technical costs, Mass Media to promotion and information also only uses Facebook and Instagram. There is no involvement of local and national Mass Media as well as sponsors of funding or products. So, local cultural preservation activities have not become a mass public concern, only held in the Kuningan District, West Java. The involvement of young people in this activity is only as a filler, not as long as they do promotions and publications as a pride towards the local culture.

Abstract

Pondok Petir Village is the largest population in Bojongsari Subdistrict, Depok. The most prominent land use in this village is for housing. Reny Jaya Housing is one of the largest housing complexes in Pondok Petir. The large population and diversity of these activities contribute to increasing the number and problem of waste. Organic waste originating from households dominates waste generation in Indonesia. The production of organic waste in Pondok Petir Village has the potential to be managed well. The composting method using Takakura basket and processing cooking oil into soap is very appropriate to be introduced as a proper technology in processing organic waste from households. The problem that is happening right now is that community participation is still not well-directed and well-organized; there is still a lack of community sanctity towards the waste problem. The potential for household waste to be processed can even be of economic value. However, it has not been maximally implemented because there is still a lack of motivation and insight from the community in managing waste. The Waste Management Training Activity has been carried out, attended by 16 participants consisting of homemakers in RT 04 RW 07 Pondok Petir Village, Depok. With the method of presentation in presentation, the practice of making Takakura composter, making washing soap from used cooking oil, as well as discussion and question and answer. This household-scale waste management training is expected to increase community involvement in the Pondok Petir Village in managing their waste and can socialize and motivate other households in the vicinity so that it can become one of the examples of areas that are clean, healthy, and free of rubbish.

Abstract

This study is based on Community Service Activities (PkM) conducted by the Bakrie University PKM Team which was held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 in Kaliurang Village, Yogyakarta. Participants in the activity are elementary school-age children, and the material provided to them is in the form of knowledge about anti-corruption culture through two series of activities: 1) making various kinds of craft / toy models; and 2) anti-corruption game activities using toys / mockups that have been made. All of this was done so that the training participants whose meetings consisted of elementary school-aged children get a pleasant atmosphere so that they can receive learning materials properly. Through the experience of interacting with others, children will learn to understand which activities or behaviors are good / allowed / accepted / approved or bad / cannot / rejected / disapproved. It is hoped that with a good and appropriate learning model, the moral of the nation's future generation who will be anti-corruption, good behavior, and honest will be formed.

Abstract

The entry of the current 4.0 era known as the era of disruption that requires various aspects to go forward and be able to follow the development of technological progress. It takes innovation, problem-solving, and creativity to face this era of disruption. One aspect is the promotion of Indonesia culture as a national identity which is still limited using a variety of conventional media, which must be changed immediately. Social networking media is an effective means to promote diverse cultures of the archipelago, young users dominate internet users in Indonesia, especially social networking media. In this community service program, giving an understanding in the form of in-depth counseling about the identity and preservation of local cultural values, followed by training in the use of social media, especially Instagram to increase awareness of millennial and Gen Z teenagers about the preservation of the local culture they have. The existence of training and counseling on the use of social media as preservation of local culture namely Kuningan, West Java through the promotion of local culture with Instagram as the medium, it is hoped that after attending the training they will be able to implement Instagram as a means of promoting Kuningan’s local culture.

Abstract

In 2917 Indonesian Government has tergetted 8 millions small-medium enterprises (SME) to go online at 2019. Some digital workshops have been conducting to SME all over Indonesia, includes in Cirebon. Now, there are 1698 SME in Cirebon. At the beginning, lot of products from Cirebon showed the uniqueness of Cirebon as Shrimp City such as shrimp cracker, shrimp paste, batik linen and glass painting. But now, many SME develop new products which may be the new identifying mark for Cirebon in the future. They are fried onion, steel relief, soap, etc. However, a lot of small-medium enterprises do not able to create marketing communication strategy. Therefore to develop the businsess of small-medium enterprise, it is necessary to conduct a workshop on brand communication management with subject of creating an attractive theme to be communicated in product packaging or promotion media and subject of preparing media plan strategy to promote products. By implementing the effective brand communication, it not only communicates the brand itself, but also it is part of supporting Cirebon city branding.
