Abstract

The rising number of violence and bullying cases between studentis worrying. Some people accused violence anime as the cause. However, violence anime shows not only aggression acts, but also delivering positive values needed by children. Data from anime forums suggests such animes deliver ideas kind of like: hard working, never give up, altruism, and solidarity. This means violence acts among school age children may derive from other variables.

Abstract

Becoming street children is not a desirable option to everyone, especially for security issues. Street children often seen as a problem, and there are no regulations yet to overcome this phenomenon. This paper uses the study of literature, to explore the causes, way of life, and the vulnerabilities faced by street childrencaused them tend to behave deviantly.Results of the study indicates that the presence of street children mostly caused by poverty, personality disorder, and external factors of the child. They have their own way of life and are oftenly regarded as the dregs of society. Unfavorable streetlife conditions and the lack of supervision from the family makes street children are particularly vulnerable to various forms of violence.To solve the problems of street children, a comprehensive change is needed so that they will not live and workin the street again.

Abstract

In order toachieve the national health developments goals, we need health workforce who are competent, responsible, uphold ethical standards and spread evently all over Indonesia. But in fact, health workforce in Indonesia still face a lot of problem. Therefore the parliament and the government formed health workforce act as a legal reference to handle the problems. This research was conducted to determine health policy triangle in forming health workforce act. With qualitative approach, the study concluded that the actors come from the government, the president, the legislators, interest groups and political party. The content include aspects of professionalism and the relationship between the health workforce. The context includes aspects of cultural, social, political, economic, and legal. The process began in 2010 until 2014. This study recommended that in order to get common perspective, the public and the stakeholders should get involved more intensely.

Abstract

After more than a decade Indonesia entered the Reform era, there is now a desire among some politicians and intellectuals to revive the concept of the Guidelines (GBHN) to guide development planning as it was once used under the New Order regime. The desire was based on the view that the current development planning has led to much turmoil, collision and no sustainability. This paper describes the Guidelines used for development planning in the reform era called Long Term Development Plan (RPJPN) is somewhat similar to the Guidelines (GBHN) in the perspective of theory of modernization development. Therefore, chaos, development planning collision is actually not caused by the absence of the Guidelines itself, but rather on the changes of the state power system into more horizontal system so that no state agency is able to fully control the development planning from the center down to regions, something which was done well in the era of the New Order.

Abstract

The background of this review is the fact that today’s society marginalize Pancasila as the values and nmoral insocial interaction. By using contemporary sociological perspectives that develops relationships between individual and structures the writer concludes that pancasila as the vision of social change, see the reciprocal relation between individual and structure. It has greatly affect the quality of social change in the society. The consequence of this view is that Pancasila materialized in values and morality embodied in individual and collective level. Therefore it has become our collective duty to contextualized and implement Pancasila in a variety of direction of life in national and state levels.

Abstract

Psychological scientists from non western countries questioning the validity and relevance of psychological theories built by European-American psychologist used to study the condition of non-western societies. Psychology Theories from the west were built from western culture with respondents from medium socio economic groups and mostly students, and it is considered incompatible with the conditions of nonwestern societies. Therefore, there is a growing need for the contextually and culturally campatible pscyhology theory and it manifests in the indigenous psychology movement, led by psychology scientists from non-western countries. This article explained what is meant within digenous psychology, its difference with cross-cultural psychology, and things need to be strengthened by indigenous psychology movement, so that it can stand in line with established paradigms of psychology.

Abstract

Empowerment constitutes one of the ways to increase society’s ability to meet their need. The goal of empowerment is to develop the potency and strength of the poor or the vulnerable group and transform them into a strong group. Effort to identify the potency of the society can be done with various approach and strategy. One of the approach or strategy is by the social work approach. Social worker as professional helper have the task to revamp the socially dysfunction society through empowerment activity.
