Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of compensation on the performance of employees of PT. Jaya Jaya Utama. This study aims to determine the effect of motivation on the performance of PT.Tunas Jaya Utama employees. This study has the aim to determine the effect of compensation and motivation on the performance of PT.Tunas Jaya Utama employees. The population of this research is 32 employees of PT. Tunas Jaya Utama. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, documentary studies and questionnaires, while the data analysis techniques used were the classic assumption test, multiple regression, T test, F test, and the coefficient of determination. There is an effect of compensation and motivation on employee performance at PT. Tunas Jaya Utama where the count is 0.349. The multiple correlation coefficient values ​​together between motivation and workload on performance obtained Rx1x2y = 0.723. This positive value means that if compensation and motivation are increased the performance will increase. From the F test it was obtained 15,853 with sig 0,000 <0,05, indicating that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, meaning compensation (X1) and motivation (X2) had a significant effect on performance (Y) at the 0.05 level. The coefficient of determination obtained (R-Square) is 0.522 or 52.20%, indicating that around 52.20% the variable Y can be explained by the compensation variable (X1) and motivation (X2) or practically it can be said that the contribution of compensation (X1) and motivation (X2) on performance (Y) is 52.20%, the rest is influenced by other variables not examined.

Abstract

The growth of internet users in Indonesia continues to increase. Hence, many companies ranging from micro, small, medium to large businesses, utilize Instagram in increasing their sales through electronic word of mouth processes. This study aims to determine the influence of perceived quality, experiential marketing on customer satisfaction and eWOM on Instagram. Population of this study are the clients who have used the services of Fatahillah Ginting Photography. The data collected from 170 respondents using questionnaire, and analyzed by path analysis technique. Some tests were conducted in this research are data quality test, classical assumption test, conformity test and path analysis. The Result shows that Perception of Quality and Experiential Marketing have direct influence on eWOM and indirectly through Consumer Satisfaction. Thus, in order to create positive eWOM on Instagram, Fatahillah Ginting Photography needs to increase customer loyalty by implementing experiential marketing concepts and providing high quality services.

Abstract

This research is to find out and analyze whether the promotional mix in the form of advertising, sales promotion, events and experiences, public relations and publicity, direct marketing, interactive marketing, word of mouth marketing, personal sales have an influence on the decision making of prospective students choosing to study at STIE Eka Prasetya , and to find out and analyze which promotional mix is ​​the most influential to be used in the context of promotional activities. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The number of samples in this study were 166 students. Data collection techniques used in this study through questionnaires and documentation studies. Advertising has a significant effect but has a negative behavior towards decision making in choosing courses at STIE Eka Prasetya. Sales promotion has a significant influence and has a positive attitude towards decision making in students choosing to study at STIE Eka Prasetya. Events and experiences have a significant influence and have a positive behavioral contribution to the decision making of students choosing to study at STIE Eka Prasetya. Public relations and publicity have a significant influence but have a negative behavioral contribution to the decision making of college students at STIE Eka Prasetya. Direct marketing has a significant influence and has a positive behavioral contribution to the decision making choosing to study at STIE Eka Prasetya. Interactive marketing has a significant influence but has a negative behavioral contribution towards the decision of students choosing to study at STIE Eka Prasetya. Word of mouth marketing has a significant influence and has a positive behavioral contribution to the decision making of students choosing to study at STIE Eka Prasetya. Personal sales have a significant influence and have a positive attitude towards the decision making of students choosing to study at STIE Eka Prasetya. The promotional mix that most influences the decision making of prospective students is Word of mouth marketing.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of Insurance Premium and Service Quality on Customer Satisfaction at PT. Asuransi Jiwa Sequis Life Rising Star Agency Medan., to analyze the influence of Insurance Premium on Customer Satisfaction at PT. Asuransi Jiwa Sequis Life Rising Star Agency Medan., and to analyze the influence of Service Quality on Customer Satisfaction at PT. Asuransi Jiwa Sequis Life Rising Star Agency Medan The research methodology used quantitative descriptive method. Data type which was used in this study was quantitative data, which is obtained in number form. Data sources were primary and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from questionnaire distribution to who bought Q Smart Life insurance policy product at PT. Asuransi Jiwa Sequis Life Rising Star Agency Medan, and secondary data obtained from data and literature relating to this research. The population in this research was the people who bought Q Smart Life insurance policy product at PT. Asuransi Jiwa Sequis Life Rising Star Agency Medan, which numbered around 26.550 people. By using the Slovin formula, then totally of sample was 100 people. Data was analyzed by using multiple linear regression analysis method. Results of the analysis showed that Insurance Premium had a positive and significant influence on Customer Satisfaction based on partial. The results also showed that Service Quality had a positive and significant influence on Customer Satisfaction based on partial. And finally it showed that Insurance Premium and Service Quality had a positive and significant influence on Customer Satisfaction Interest based on simultaneously. This research hypothesis results was supported 62.9%, which meant that Insurance Premium and Service Quality simultaneously had 62.9% influence on Customer Satisfaction at PT. Asuransi Jiwa Sequis Life Rising Star Agency Medan. While the remaining about 37.1% was influenced by other variables which was not examined in this research example economic situation, brang image and marketing mix.

Abstract

The This research was conducted to investigate whether there is an influence of teacher personality and teacher professionalism on student achievement in tenth-grade IPS 2 students of SMA Negeri Pematang Siantar. The population in this study were all students of tenth-grade IPS SMA Negeri 2 Pematang Siantar, totaling 188 people. The sampling technique in this study used a random sampling method of 64 students. Data collection techniques used were observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The validity test for item questionnaire analysis used the product-moment correlation formula, and the reliability was calculated using the Cronbach alpha formula. Data analysis techniques used were multiple linear regression, t-test, F test and test determination (R2). The value of determination (R2), the contribution of teacher personality variables and teacher professionalism to student achievement, is 14.7%. The rest is influenced by other variables that are outside the analysis of this study. It can be concluded that the teacher's personality has a positive and significant influence on student achievement. Whereas teacher professionalism did not have a positive and significant influence on student achievement in tenth-grade students IPS SMA Negeri 2 Pematang Siantar.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Kualitas Produk terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Pakaian di UMKM Woodenboxroomstock Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan asosiatif yang berupaya mengkaji bagaimana suatu variabel memiliki suatu keterkaitan dengan variabel lain. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh masyarakat yang menggunakan produk pakaian kemeja yang dijual di UMKM Woodenboxroomstock Medan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah konsumen pengguna produk kemeja di UMKM Woodenboxroomstock Medan. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode Probability Sampling sebanyak 50 responden. Tekhnik pengumpulan data dengan cara menyebarkan angket (quisioner). Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis linier sederhana, uji t, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel independen dalam penelitian ini berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian. Kualitas produk berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian dengan nilai probabiltas didapat thitung lebih besar dari pada ttabel 4.328 > 3,090 dan nilai signifikan sebesar 0.000 (lebih kecil dari 0.05).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui pengaruh motivasi intrinsik terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Indojaya Agrinusa Tanjung Morawa. Penelitian ini menggunakan motivasi intrinsik sebagai variabel independen dan kinerja karyawan sebagai variabel dependen. Untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh motivasi intrinsik terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Indojaya Agrinusa Tanjung Morawa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan bagian aquafeedPT IndojayaAgrinusa di Tanjung Morawa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dan kuantitatif dengan analisis data yang digunakan meliputi rumus korelasi product moment, uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, analisis regresi linier sederhana, uji t dan koefisien determinan (R2). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara Motivasi Intrinsik terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada PTIndojayaAgrinusa Tanjung morawa memiliki nilai yang kuat. Hasil perhitungan koefisien korelasi dengan menggunakan rumus product moment, variabel Motivasi Intrinsik (X) terhadap variabel kinerja karyawan (Y) sebesar = 0,611 atau 61,1%. Persamaan regresi linier sederhana Y = 17,836 + 0,587 X, hasil perhitungan signifikan koefisien korelasi (uji) t diperoleh nilai thitung> ttabel = 5,344 > 2,011 dan hasil perhitungan uji determinasi variabel motivasi intrinsik (x) terhadap kinerja karyawan (y) sebesar 0,373 atau 37,3%.
