Abstract

Zebra Cross is a facility for pedestrians to cross the highway. In addition, zebra crossing is also a marker for motorists that there are lanes for pedestrians to cross. Because of its function to cross the road, pedestrians need to pay attention to their own safety and smooth traffic when crossing. The problem at the red light is the frequent occurrence of violations. Vehicles that break through when the light is red can cause accidents and even cause fatalities. The accident rate in 2022 is 1,321 incidents. Compared to 2021 there were 1,191 incidents. Meanwhile, the number of traffic violations in 2022/2023 was 25,982 compared to 2021 with 11,316. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to create a monitoring system for violations of the zebra crossing line at red lights. This research was built using the prototyping method and using the ESP32-CAM. From the results of this study a tool was created to detect zebra crossing violations using ultrasonic sensors and ESP32-CAM will automatically send evidence of violations via Telegram.

Abstract

College of Computer Informatics Management (STIKOM) Uyelindo Kupang is an IT-based school that has been established since 2000. STIKOM Uyelindo Kupang often holds many activities, one of which is seminars. Problems that arise when carrying out seminars that use many third-party applications such as Google Forms, Photoshop, WhatsApp, or Google Drive for registration of seminar participants, filling in attendance lists, recording participant attendance data, making certificates, and sending certificates so that they are less effective and efficient. The next problem is manually collecting data on seminar participants in attendance. Then the admin will enter the participant's name into the certificate manually. This will take time and require a large enough storage to store the certificate files that have been created. Another problem is that duplication of seminar certificate data can occur, due to the absence of certificate data validation. Therefore an application is needed that can solve existing problems to facilitate the process of running seminar activities. The purpose of this research is to build an online seminar application that can help with seminar activities that will be held at STIKOM Uyelindo Kupang using the Waterfall Method. The expected end result of this research is to be able to build online seminar and certificate registration applications which can later assist in the process of seminar activities which cover all seminar activities.

Abstract

Working remotely or what we know as Work From Anywhere is still a trend after the COVID-19 pandemic. Working from anywhere and anytime can increase productivity and reduce transportation costs, and is accompanied by fast internet support, good communication and collaboration platforms so this is very popular and in demand. When implementing WFA, it has its own challenges, namely data security. Not all organizations are supported by a reliable IT infrastructure that can protect employee data during WFA. One of the security system technologies that can be used during WFA is VPN. Currently there are many VPN protocols that can be used for WFA. However, in implementing a VPN network, there are several things that must be considered to ensure that the VPN network is successful and functional, such as security, choosing the right architecture, selecting technology and protocols, scalability, quality of service, management and monitoring, as well as security and privacy policies. ZeroTier is a next-generation VPN that is easy to configure, can support multiple devices, and uses an end-to-end connection, eliminating the need for a centralized VPN server. In implementing VPN ZeroTier the method used is the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC). This methodology is used to plan, implement, and manage a VPN network with ZeroTier to function according to WFA needs.

Abstract

MTs N Fillial Jeblog Klaten is a place of education where supporting the acceptance of new students still takes a long time or is less efficient in determining whether students are declared accepted or rejected. There needs to be a decision support system that helps schools determine whether students are accepted according to school criteria. With a decision support system designed using the profile matching method, this problem can be resolved by using a computer system that applies the profile matching method to the process of admitting new students, which in the process uses national exam scores, mathematics, Indonesian, English and achievement as assessment criteria. and prospective students who register as an alternative.

Abstract

Wonosasri, Gunung Kidul district, Special Region of Yogyakarta is famous for having quite a lot of interesting tourist destinations for tourists to visit. Tourist attractions that are quite famous in Indonesia are Wediombo Beach, Nglambor Beach, Becici Hill Pine Forest, Oya River, Ngringrong Valley, Sri Gethuk Waterfall, Ki Ageng Giring III Grave, Baron Beach, Wunung Giri Sela Kandha, Stone Garden, Kejawan Temple, Tanding Cave, Pindul Cave, Kalisuci Cave Tubing, Jomblang Cave, HeHa Sky View, Gesing Beach, Sadranan Beach, Drini Beach, Bukit Bintang, Puncak Segoro, Tanding Cave, Embung Glangeran, Slili Beach and many others. Apart from being famous as an attractive tourist destination, Wonosari Yogyakarta also has various types of souvenirs typical of Tiwul food, Gatot, Nasi Tiwul, Prawn Peyek, Fried Grasshoppers, Fried Lungkrung, Cassava Crackers, Various processed sea fish, Seaweed Peyek, Manggleng, Pathilo , and ornamental stone handicrafts, wooden and wooden batik crafts, natural colored batik crafts, bamboo crafts, vetiver crafts, natural handicrafts, silver crafts, cast metal crafts, blacksmith crafts, copper and brass crafts, and so on. Tourists who want to buy souvenirs often have difficulty finding souvenir shop locations. This research aims to develop a system that can provide information on the location of souvenir shops around users. This research was built using the waterfall method starting with the analysis, design, implementation and stages testing. The programming language used is PHP and MySql for the database. The result of this research is that a website that can display locations can display the distance and information on souvenir shops so that it really helps tourists/people to see the distance and information on souvenir shops. According to the UAT testing carried out, it is hoped that 90% of tourists/people will be helped. with the development of this system.

Abstract

The development of plant science is growing rapidly regarding herbal plants. Herbs have many benefits for life to prevent, cure diseases. To find out the types of herbal plants is done by the classification process. Classification of herbal plants can be done by identifying the shape of the leaf image of herbal plants by extracting color features, GLCM and shape from herbal leaves. The 275 dataset consists of 25 leaf types with 11 total datasets. There are several kinds of classification methods that can be used. In this study, the classification methods used were the Logistic Regression and Decision Tree Classifier methods. Based on the results of trials conducted using the Logistic Regression method, the train classification accuracy value was 72.9% and the classification test accuracy was 60.24%, while the Decision Tree Classifier method had a train classification accuracy value of 100% and the accuracy of the classification test was 78.31. This shows that the performance of the Decision Tree Classifier method is better than the Logistic Regression method

Abstract

MSME Kenyot Susu is one of the MSMEs in Boyolali that sells various processed foods and drinks made from colostrum milk. Currently, product introduction activities only involve participating in events and bazaars so that the community reach is not wide enough. Reseller registration is currently still done manually by coming directly to the location. This research focuses on developing Android-based MSME applications using the User Centered Design method which was built using the PHP, Javascript, and Dart programming languages and using the Flutter framework. The testing method uses a usability test with a questionnaire and is measured using a Likert Scale. This research succeeded in developing an Android application as an MSME information system that displays MSME profiles, products sold, reseller data but does not include buying and selling transactions. From the test results, an average score of 79% was obtained in the category (agree/good/like), which shows that the application design that was built was in accordance with user expectations.

Abstract

A queue is a group of people or goods in a line waiting to be served. It can occur when the number of visitors is greater than the number of serving resources. One of these queuing phenomena can be found at one of the fast food outlets, namely Gacoan Merr Surabaya. This study aims to identify and analyze the factors that affect queues and propose a more efficient strategy to solve queuing problems at Gacoan Merr Surabaya. The simulation model used is a discrete-event simulation model. The method in this study has stages that include problem analysis, literature study, observation, system modeling, and proposed solutions. The variables used in the research object include the time interval of arrival, the number of customers, the total number of servers in the ordering service process, and the total number of servers in the food manufacturing process, for a total of eight people. From the results of system modeling, it is found that the use of eight servers in the product processing phase can still be said to be less effective where the food distribution time also takes longer. Therefore, changes are needed in the product or food manufacturing phase by adding the number of servers used to process orders. The increase in the number of servers shows a decrease in the number of order queues in the product processing phase, and the food distribution time becomes faster.

Abstract

Boyolali Regency, which is geographically located between Mount Merbabu and the still active Mount Merapi, does have high potential as a disaster-prone area. According to data from the Boyolali Regional Disaster Management Agency, during the period from 2022 to 2023, 936 disaster events were recorded in the region. These disasters have a devastating impact on ecosystems and the environment, causing significant material losses, causing psychological disorders, and even threatening human safety. In this context, detecting patterns of disaster events is an important step in disaster mitigation and management efforts. This research was conducted with the aim of understanding patterns of disaster events based on data collected by BPBD Boyolali. The method used is the Naive Bayes algorithm, which has proven to be a powerful tool in data analysis. The results of this research show a high level of accuracy of 92.52%, precision of 92.68%, and recall of 91.64% using the Naive Bayes algorithm. This indicates that the algorithm is effective in recognizing and classifying patterns of disaster events based on existing data. Thus, the results of this research can provide a valuable contribution to the development of an early disaster detection system, as well as assist the authorities in designing more effective mitigation strategies to protect the community and environment in Boyolali Regency.

Abstract

The Ende Regency on Flores Island, East Nusa Tenggara Province, offers various attractive tourist destinations with its natural charm and cultural richness. However, visitors to the Ende Regency face the challenge of insufficient information regarding the shortest and most efficient routes to their desired tourist spots. To address this issue, a tourism route search information system is developed for the Ende Regency using the Dijkstra algorithm-based website. The Dijkstra algorithm is employed to find the shortest route between two points in a weighted graph.Utilizing a website as the platform for this system enables easy and flexible access through various devices such as laptops, computers, and smartphones, facilitating users in utilizing the system anytime and anywhere. It is anticipated that this system will assist tourists in navigating to tourist destinations in the Ende Regency more easily and efficiently.
