Abstract

This research is inspired by the increasing number of creative actions carried out by homebusiness people who have to maintain their business income during the pandemic. Thiscreativity appears, to increase the number of customers in order to increase home businessincome. Finally, some home businesses develop their business by promoting their productsthrough online media, such as social media, collaboration with online distributors, givingdiscount, or promotion through WAG. This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing apromotional mix on increasing the number of customers and home business income during thepandemic. This research applies quantitative research. The respondents are 35 home businessesspread over 3 (three) Regencies. The data collection technique used a questionnaire sent viagoogleform. Data analysis using Path Analysis with SPSS ver. 22.00. The sampling techniqueusing random sampling with exogenous variables is the promotional mix implementation (X);exogenous variable is income (Y); and the intervening variable is the number of customers (Z).The results of the study conclude that (1) the variable of the promotional mix implementationhas a significant effect on increasing the number of customers as evidenced by the value of sig.0.000; and the value of 0.447; (2) the variable number of customers has a significant effect onrevenue as evidenced by the value of sig. 0.000; and the value of 0.545; (3) the implementationvariable of the promotional mix has no significant effect on revenue as evidenced by the valueof sig. 0.433.Keywords: Promotional Mix; Number of customers; Income

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the factors that influence taxpayercompliance in paying motor vehicle tax in Jember. The number of samples used in this studywere 100 respondents with the determination of the sample using accidental sampling method.Data collection using a questionnaire. The data analysis method uses data quality test analysis(validity test, reliability test), classical assumption test (normality test, multicollinearity test,heteroscedasticity test), determination coefficient, multiple regression analysis, t test and f test.The results of this study indicate that only the tax sanction variable has a partial effect, whiletaxpayer awareness, moral obligation, service quality, and tax sanctions have no significanteffect on taxpayer compliance. However, simultaneously it shows that the awareness oftaxpayers, moral obligations, quality of service, tax sanctions, and accountability of publicservices together have an effect on taxpayer compliance .Keywords: taxpayer awareness, moral obligation, service quality, tax sanctions, publicservice accountability, taxpayer compliance

Abstract

One of the functions of higher education is as a medium for transferring knowledge to thecommunity, namely research and community service. Through this program, the authorconducted a research entitled the effect of production and marketing assistance on thedevelopment of micro, small and medium enterprises at UD. Seger Prosperous BanyuwangiRegency. The method used in this research is direct observation to the field. The results of thisstudy, that the influence of production and marketing assistance on the development of micro,small and medium enterprises (UD. Seger Makmur Banyuwangi Regency), there is a significantincrease in the quantity and quality of production with equipment innovation. Meanwhile, interms of marketing, with the planned promotion there is a significant increase in the quantity ofnew customers, wider market coverage and increased revenue.Keywords: Assitance, production, marketing.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in the price of cooking oil on the income andprofits of street vendors in the Mangli red light intersection area, Jember Regency. Thisresearch is qualitative by presenting the results of interviews in the field. The samples takenwere 129 street vendors in the Mangli red light intersection area, Jember Regency. Theresults of this study, the average income of traders during the increase in cooking oil prices isalmost 40% with smaller profits, which is decreased by around 50% than usual. This meansthat the impact caused by the increase in cooking oil prices is quite significant in affecting theincome and profits of street vendors. In addition, other influences that arise include fewercustomers every day, fewer customers buying products from street vendors, because they aremore concerned with the main product, in this case the nine basic ingredients. Withincreasing business conditions, street vendors switch professions, some even stop trading orstop waiting until the price of cooking oil recovers as before.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze consumer behavior towards purchase decision via the marketplaceand consumer satisfaction in Jember Regency. After the covid-19 pandemic, the marketplace isgrowing and offering a variety of services that can satisfy its consumers. The researchrespondents consisted of 150 marketplace user respondents, namely Bukalapak, Shoppee,Tokopedia, Lazada, and Blibli. Data collection techniques consist of e-questionnaire. Dataanalysis using path analysis. Research variables consist of exogenous trust variable (X1); Price(X2); Convenience (X3); Reference Group (X4); Quality of Information (X5). The endogenousvariable is consumer satisfaction (Y). The intervening variable is the purchase decision (Z). Theresults of the study concluded that the Trust Variable (X1) had no significant effect on consumerdecisions (Z) as evidenced by the results of hypothesis testing with values of sig. 0.130 and0.114; Price variable (X2) has a significant effect on consumer decisions (Z) as evidenced by theresults of hypothesis testing with values of sig. 0.000 and 0.205; The convenience variable (X3)has a significant effect on consumer decisions (Z) as evidenced by the results of hypothesistesting with values of sig. 0.000 and 0.216; The Reference Group variable (X4) has nosignificant effect on consumer decisions (Z) as evidenced by the results of hypothesis testingwith values of sig. 0.047 and 0.160; Quality of Information variable (X5) has a significant effecton consumer decisions (Z) as evidenced by the results of hypothesis testing with values of sig0.130 and 0.114; The Consumer Decision Variable (Z) has a significant effect on consumersatisfaction (Y) as evidenced by the results of hypothesis testing with a value of sig. 0.000 and0.494.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of work motivation, work environment onemployee performance at MDR Convection in Banyuwangi. This study uses a type ofquantitative research.The independent variable is Work Motivation (X1), Work Environment(X2), and the dependent variable is Performance (Y2). Data analysis used is validity andreliability test, normality test, heteroscedasticity test, multicollinearity test, classical assumptiontest, , Multiple Linear analysis, t test and f test. The results of the t-test or partial test on multipleregression on the effect of work motivation on employee performance showed that there was nosignificant effect. This proves that the effect of low work motivation will not increase employeeperformance at the Banyuwangi Convection MDR. The results of the T-test or multipleregression partial test on the influence of the work environment on employee performance showthat there is no significant effect. This proves that the unfavorable work environment will notimprove employee performance at MDR Convection Banyuwangi. The results of the F test ormultiple regression simultaneous test on the effect of work motivation and work environment onemployee performance show results that have a significant effect. This proves that workmotivation and work environment improve employee performance at MDR ConvectionBanyuwangi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine directly or indirectly the influence of the non-physical work environment and organizational culture on employee performance throughorganizational commitment as an intervening variable on employees of the Regional Secretariatof Bondowoso Regency. The number of samples in this study was 100 with purposive samplingtechnique. The analytical technique used is path analysis using SPSS 22.0. The results of dataanalysis show that the non-physical work environment has a significant effect on organizationalcommitment, organizational culture has a significant effect on organizational commitment,non-physical work environment has a significant effect on employee performance,organizational culture has a significant effect on employee performance, and organizationalcommitment has a significant effect on employee performance. Indirectly, the non-physicalwork environment and organizational culture have a significant effect on employeeperformance through organizational commitment.

Abstract

The organization achievement is influenced by its employees’ performance that the leaderalways spur the quality performance of his employees by leadership style.Therefore it isnecessary to conduct research on the influence of the village head’s leadership style on thevillage development performance at Mlokorejo Village, Puger District, Jember Regency. Thisstudy aims to test and analyze partially or simultaneously the influence of the village head'sleadership style on development performance. The explanatory research type is used in thisreaserch to examine whether there is a pattern of relationships between two or morevariables. Technique of sampling with population method used 50 villages aparatus ofMlokorejo as respondents. The data analysis shows that the Autocratic, Democratic, andLaisses-Faire leadership style simultaneously have a significant effect on the villagedevelopment performance. Whereas based on the partial test (t test), only the Laisses-Faireleadership style had a significant effect on village development performance, while theautocratic and the democratic leadership style had a partially insignificant effect on thedependent variable of village development performance. It was also shown that the Laisses-Faire leadership style variable (X3) had the most influence on the dependent variable ofvillage development performance (Y).

Abstract

Laboratory services are an integral part of health services that are needed to support healthimprovement, prevention, treatment, as well as health restoration. UPTD LabkesdaBondowoso is a Health Laboratory that plays a role in health development services asCommunity Health Efforts (Indonesian: UKM) and Individual Health Efforts (Indonesian:UKP) to support various health programs. UPTD Labkesda Bondowoso needs to improve itsmarketing strategy in providing satisfaction for patients. This research aims to determine theeffect of the marketing mix (product, price, place, people, promotion, process, and physicalevidence) on the satisfaction of patients receiving services from the UPTD Labkesda,Bondowoso District. This research is descriptive quantitative research. The analyticalmethods used are linear regression analysis, classical assumption test (multicollinearity test,heteroscedasticity test, and normality test). Data collection is done by using observation,questionnaires, and direct interviews. The number of samples is 357 and the number ofpopulations is about 3,320 patients in several hospitals in Bondowoso District. This researchuses the Product, Price, Place, People, Promotion, Process and Physical Evidence as theindependent variables and patient satisfaction as the dependent variable. The results showthat product, Price, Place, People, Promotion, Process, and Physical Evidence have asimultaneous effect on patient satisfaction. Partially, Product, Price, Place, People, andPhysical Evidence have no significant effect on patient satisfaction. The Promotion is theonly variable that has a significant effect on patient satisfaction.

Abstract

The business world cannot be separated from competition, where service quality is one of thefactors that must be owned by every business unit if you want to survive in business orbusiness competition. So that customers are satisfied with the services provided. The purposeof this study was to determine the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction eitherjointly or partially on CV. Sakila Banyuwangi. CV. Sakila is a business in the field ofprinting, digital printing and screen printing whose business units include the manufacture ofprint media and advertising. The type of research used in this research is descriptive researchthat uses a quantitative approach. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysistechnique and by using multiple regression. While the sample technique used is a non-probability sample that uses a total sample of 100 people. This study uses primary datasourced from direct observation and questionnaires distributed to respondents, where therespondents are customers of CV. Sakila Banyuwangi which is then analyzed using multiplelinear analysis. Based on the results of this study, service quality (X) which consists ofphysical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy simultaneously has asignificant effect on customer satisfaction with a value (p value) of 0.003 < 0.05. Some of theresults of the t-test that tested the variable (x) against (y) partially showed that only theempathy variable did not have a significant effect on customer satisfaction with a totalsignificance (X5 value) of 0.353 <0.05. The implication of the results of the research aboveshows that the variables of Physical Evidence, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance have asignificant effect on managerial performance, this is what makes CV. Sakila Banyuwangiprinting is stable and can run smoothly in running its business in the world of printingservices, although in this study there is one variable, that is Empathy has no significantpositive effect.
