Abstract

Mata Kayu Art is a center for selling unique souvenirs and furniture, its superior products made of pine wood are placards, sitting clocks, wall clocks, and so on. Home Industry Mata Kayu Art was established in mid-2018, which is located on Jl. Karya, district. Panam, Pekanbaru City. The purpose of this study is to identify the number of defective products and measure the level of sigma and determine the factors that cause defective products so that they can provide suggestions for improvements to the company by redesigning SOPs to reduce defects or defects. The method used is the Six Sigma method, with the steps of Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC). Based on the calculation results that in the souvenir production process two types of defects become Critical to Quality (CTQ), namely broken and cracked, while souvenir products that often experience defects are Plaque products, Key Chain products, and Sitting Clock products which are then obtained Defect values. per Million Opportunity (DPMO) obtained for Broken defects is 11029 and for Cracked defects is 3676 while the sigma value obtained for Broken defects is 3.79 and for Cracked defects is 4.18. The company strives to be able to implement six sigma with the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC) stages to improve quality with the hope that there will be no defects or zero defects. Abstract

Feed is important component in the livestock industry. Feed quality provide optimal production in this industry, and vice versa. The cost of feed can reach 60-85% of the cost of production, so the emphasis on feed costs needs to be considered. Industrial waste has the potential to be used as a source of feed, one of which is waste from a tofu factory, namely tofu dregs. Tofu dregs contain high crude protein and high palatability value. The high potential of tofu dregs to be used as a source of animal feed, prompted researchers to conduct a study on the potential use of tofu dregs from the Lin's Kuok tofu factory as a source of protein in beef cattle rations. The results showed that Lin's Kuok Tofu Factory's production of tofu dregs in % DM was 31.44 Kg/day CP, CP 9.53 Kg/day, TDN 24.49 Kg/day. The usability of tofu dregs from Lin's Kuok Tofu Factory is (DM) 5.03 AU, CP 14.44 AU and TDN 5.69 AU. Keywords: Rations; Tofu Dregs; Feed animal.

Abstract

Abstract PKS PT. XXX produces ± 49,645 tons of empty fruit bunches, which is an average of 16.16% (Dok Sam 2019) of TBS processed for a year. This is less effective and there are still Unstripped Bunch (USB) which are attached to the garden area where the Empty away application is applied. From the results of the study to overcome the problem of loose loose bunches that are still in empty bunches, the Unstripped Bunch Machine (USB) Crusher unit is designed with specifications that have been adjusted and the design is made sturdy and will be directly applied in real form using the Value Engineering method, the results The reality of this machine unit is that it can reduce the loose losses in empty bunches and can reduce operator performance. Abstract

Oil palm plantations and their processing units are expected to grow rapidly, advances in science and technology are very fast along with sophisticated equipment created to simplify and speed up a production process in a palm oil factory, one of which is the Cake Breaker Conveyor (CBC) which functions to break/separate oil palm kernels. core of the shell in oil palm kernel processing. Problems that often occur in the process of separating pulp with palm kernel are in the transfer Cake Breaker Conveyor (CBC). This study tries to propose a machine maintenance system using the application of the RCM (Realibility Centered Maintenance) method on the CBC Cake Breaker Conveyor machine, where the RCM (Realibility Centered Maintenance) method is an identification technique with the intention of saving costs and maintenance to minimize the risk and impact of failure. in facilities and equipment utilities. From the test results the Mean Time to Failure (MTTF) value of the CBC engine clutch (Cake Breaker Conveyor) is 1,803 Hours. While the calculation results of the Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) value of the CBC engine clutch (Cake Breaker Conveyor) is 4:00 Hours Types of Preventive Maintenance and Time Based Maintenance For the optimal maintenance interval for the CBC (Cake Breaker Conveyor) engine clutch is 19 days. Abstract

UKM XYZ is an industry engaged in the food sector. The problems that occur in UKM XYZ are the promotion strategy implemented is not enough to increase sales, there are competitors with similar businesses. From the problems that occur have an impact on sales and decreased revenue. The purpose of this research is to identify internal and external factors that influence and form elements of marketing strategy, analyze strengths and weaknesses as well as opportunities and threats to see the current position.. The method used in this research is the SWOT method. The SWOT method is a method used to determine the strategy to be pursued based on the strengths and weaknesses as well as the opportunities and threats that exist in UKM XYZ. Through analysis of the strengths and weaknesses as well as opportunities and threats to UKM XYZ with the calculation of EFE and IFE matrices, the results of the current position of UKM are in quadrant II, where the right strategy to be implemented is the strategy of growth and development.

Abstract

Abstract Conveyor in general is a tool that functions to move objects or loads from one place to another. In general, a belt conveyor system consists of a belt (belt), a front pulley (head pulley) equipped with a drive unit consisting of an electric motor and gearbox, a rear pulley (tail pulley), an upper idler (carry idler), and a lower idler. (return idlers). The method used in this research is the method of literature study and field observation. This research will also plan a design that is adapted to the conditions of the layout of the facility and also design according to the height of the mixer machine. Abstract

AbstractRed Jati crackers UMKM as a producer that produces red crackers. Reliable strength. Red Jati crackers have an advantage in terms of price, but need improvements in terms of packaging made as attractive as possible so that consumers are more interested and add to the selling value. The weaknesses that are owned by Red Jati Crackers are: first, they do not have a typical company so that the company will experience a financial crisis (decline) if the company is affected by the dropping or falling world economy and secondly does not use promotional or advertising services, both visual and non-visual. The biggest opportunity that Red Jati Crackers can get is to dominate the monopolistic market. The biggest threat faced by Red Jati Crackers is the purchasing power of consumers. SWOT analysis of IFAS (Intermal Factors Analysis Summary) material factors Total score of 2.32 Strength (Strength) while Weakness (Weakness) total score of 0.76. The total score is all 3.08. EFAS External Factors (External Factors Analysis Summary) Opportunities total score of 2.14 while Threat (Threat) total score of 0.45. The total score is 2.59 in all. Red Jati crackers are in a development position (Growth) with the SO (S) Strategy to increase Strength (O) to achieve the goal. Abstract

Abstract Riau is one of the areas with the largest oil palm plantation area in Indonesia. In general, oil palm has three types of waste, including: solid waste, liquid waste, and gas waste. Solid waste consists of empty bunches, midribs, stems and mesocarp fibers. The frond waste is generated when trimming the midrib at the time of harvesting oil palm fruit bunches. The oil palm midrib consists of rachis (leaves), pinnacs (leaves), and spines (sticks). The number of leaflets on one midrib ranges from 250-400 leaflets located on the left and right of the midrib. Each leaflet consists of a stick and two leaves. The process of separating sticks is still done manually, so it takes a long time to separate them. So in this study, we designed a palm stick machine using CAD. Designing with CAD provides many advantages including making it easier for designers to design, reducing time, and reducing costs during design. There are three design pictures of palm oil stick waste processing machines. Based on economic calculations, tools and materials needed and processing time, design drawing C is the choice. Abstract

PLTM Gunung Wugul is a power plant that utilizes the type of river flow "run of river" which operates with Commercial on Date (COD) on December 3rd, 2021, by PLN Central Java & DIY Distribution Controlling Unit (UP2D). PLTM Gunung Wugul uses a French turbine type with a net head of 68.5m and uses a synchronous generator type with a capacity of 2100 kVA with a cos phi generator capability of 0.8. The generator for the Gunung Wugul PLTM is currently operating with a power factor of 0.95, which PT PLN has asked the PLTM Gunung Wugul to run at a power factor of 0.9. PT PLN assesses that the reactive power production of the PT Indonesia Power plant is still lacking, so a reactive power plant support clause is added with a minimum cos phi 0.9. This results in changes to the operating parameters of the generator. This writing method contains the steps taken by the author in compiling this final project. This writing method is structured to provide clear directions and ways for writers so that the preparation of this thesis can run smoothly. Based on the analysis of operational data for the Gunung Wugul PLTM, the recommended cos phi setting is 0.95. In these conditions, the operating parameters of the unit are in the normal operating conditions and range. Based on the technical specifications of the equipment, the PLTM Gunung Wugul can be operate with a cos phi setting of 0.9. However, these conditions must also see the operating parameters, apart from that the network voltage condition on the MRA03 is currently stable at 20 kV, with operation at cos phi 0.9 it will make the network voltage very high at MRA03-337, with a maximum voltage of 21 kV

Abstract

Convention Center is a center/container for meeting activities attended by a group for common interests. Harvest city is located in Cileungsi District, which is located in Bogor Regency, West Java Province. Cileungsi District is a very dense district with very rapid economic growth and is a business center area with very diverse and many activities. Harvest City itself is a very strategic location with a fairly dense population close to big cities such as Jakarta, Bekasi, Bogor, Cikarang, Depok, Cibubur, and many other cities. Harvest City is easily accessible with several alternative transportation supports such as terminals, toll roads, and is a very strategic location because it is close to shopping centers, hospitals, schools and others. With the high population and high economic activity in the Cileungsi sub-district, of course it requires a container or place that can accommodate various existing activities. Activities such as product exhibitions, shows, product launches, seminars, business and non-business meetings certainly need a place. Every citizen of Cileungsi who will hold meetings, whether weddings, seminars, product launches, music concerts and others. From there came the idea to create a multipurpose building that aims to facilitate these activities, it is necessary to make a public facility multipurpose building to meet the needs of public facilities in this city. Because of the need for space for this general facility, the author makes a design to fulfill every analysis in this area. By applying an unusual concept, it will add motivation to everyone who plays a role in using the facilities of this meeting building so as to produce an architectural work that has the maximum function and aesthetics possible
