Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari suatu bentuk pengetahuan baru dalam merancang nilai (value) bagi koperasi agar memiliki kunggulan kompetitif yang berkelanjutan dalam menghadapi persaingan bisnis, baik dalam skala lokal maupun global. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah case study. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi dan telaah dokumen. Data-data yang telah diperoleh diinterpretasikan dengan menggunakan teknik interpretive analysis. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa, dalam persaingan perdagangan bebas dan globalisasi, pangsa pasar menjadi luas. Ketika pangsa pasar luas, maka cost leadership menjadi strategi kunci untuk penciptaan nilai koperasi berupa harga yang berdaya saing dan berkeadilan. Kata kunci: keunggulan bersaing, penciptaan nilai, generic strategies

Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan bersaing produk-produk UMKM kota Pekanbaru menjadi anomaly ditengah tingginya angka pertumbuhan usaha tersebut. Hal tersebut dimungkinkan karena ketidakmampuan UMKM dalam menciptakan jati diri untuk produk-produk mereka sehingga mudah teridentifikasi dan terdiferensiasi. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut diatas melalui perancangan produk, merek dan branding yang memiliki keunggulan kompetitif, selain memberikan pengetahuan dan wawasan akan arti penting branding produk.pengabdian dilakukan dengan pendekatan brainstorming dan SWOT sebagai teknik analisis,kegiatan pengabdian ini menghasilkan produk berupa sabun cuci dan mandi cair dengan thematic buah-buahan dan memakai merek SEEPRazes.

Abstract

Investing is the best option for maintaining financial security in the future. For most people especially beginners, investing is a very complicated thing and will make it confused to take the right investment decision. All types of investments contain elements of risk. Investor decisions are based on consideration of risk factors and expected gains. The purpose of this activity is to socialize the investment measures for beginners who are teachers and learners. Acquire the right knowledge of trends to buy stocks in the capital market for beginners i.e. teachers and students through live practice in the field. This method of community dedication uses lecture methods, direct demonstrations by the speaker, and questions and answers. The lecture method is used to convey knowledge on how to invest stocks for beginners. Demonstrations are used to provide direct examples of how to buy stocks on the capital markets. The result of this activity shows the participants very enthusiastic during the activities until the training is completed. Participants hope the next year can be given the opportunity to get similar training. Therefore, the investment will not be enough if done once. Keywords: Investing, stocks and beginners

Abstract

This research was conducted in order to know if there is an influence in the use of Activity Based Costing toward competitive advantage and university performance in Pekanbaru. The Activity Based Costing variables were measured by seven indicators, namely top management Support, competition, performance evaluation and compensation, training, non-accounting ownership, resources and consensus and clarity of objective. The competitive advantage variables measuredby five indicators, namely price, quality, delivery dependability, product innovation and time to market. While the university performance variables will be measured by three indicators, research and productivity, employee commitment and industry linkage. The data used in this research was quantitative data, which were data in the numerical scale. The population ofthis research were all university in Pekanbaru. The samples of the research were 39 university in Pekanbaru. Based on the Partial Least Square that used in analyzing the data, the result showed that Activity Based Costing have influence towards competitive advantage, the Activity Based Costing have influence towards university performance, and competitive advantage have not influence towards university performance

Abstract

This study aims to look at the effect of competence and achievement motivation on the performance of primary school teachers with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. The sample in this study amounted to 143 elementary school teachers, samples were taken using stratified random sampling. The researcher used path analysis as data analysis technique. This study found that (1) Teachers’ competence and achievement motivation influence simultaneously and partially on job satisfaction (2) Teacher’ competence, achievement motivation and job satisfaction simultaneously affect teachers’ performance, but the competence do not directly and significantly affect the performance of primary school teachers. But the competence affects teachers' performance indirectly through job satisfaction.

Abstract

Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) masih terus dicari dan dijadikan pilihan oleh orang-orang yang ingin langsung bekerja setelah lulus dari sekolah menengah. Hal ini disebabkan karena pada sekolah kejuruan para siswanya dibekali dengan skill dan keterampilan yang mumpuni sehingga siap dan mampu untuk memasuki dunia kerja. Hal ini menjadi peluang bagi Yayasan XYZ untuk menjalankan usaha sekolah kejuruan. Namun terdapat beberapa masalah yang harus dihadapi dalam mendirikan usaha sekolah yaitu membutuhkan investasi modal yang cukup besar dan memiliki resiko usaha. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan suatu studi kelayakan usaha yang meliputi aspek pasar, hukum, teknis, manajemen dan finansial terhadap beberapa parameter yang dapat mempengaruhi kelayakan saat usaha berjalan untuk dapat memproyeksikan keberlangsungan dari SMK XYZ ke depannya dan mengetahui layak atau tidaknya usaha ini dijalankan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kelayakan usaha pada semua aspek diperoleh bahwa seluruh aspek dinyatakan memenuhi kriteria kelayakan.

Abstract

Abstract PKS PT. XXX produces ± 49,645 tons of empty fruit bunches, which is an average of 16.16% (Dok Sam 2019) of TBS processed for a year. This is less effective and there are still Unstripped Bunch (USB) which are attached to the garden area where the Empty away application is applied. From the results of the study to overcome the problem of loose loose bunches that are still in empty bunches, the Unstripped Bunch Machine (USB) Crusher unit is designed with specifications that have been adjusted and the design is made sturdy and will be directly applied in real form using the Value Engineering method, the results The reality of this machine unit is that it can reduce the loose losses in empty bunches and can reduce operator performance. The stages used in this method are the information stage, the creativity stage, the analysis stage (analysis of creative ideas, raw material costs, anthropometry, and raw material analysis). Abstract

Embroidery crafts are one of the riches of Indonesian traditional culture. Embroidery is a decoration made on cloth with a sewing needle and thread. This embroidery training was attended by the As-Salam Orphanage young women. Community service activities in the field of embroidery skills training on the introduction of basic stitching to decorate fabrics to improve skills in the city of Pekanbaru. This is closely related to skills education that can be used in everyday life and entrepreneurship, namely decorating cloth. The method of implementation is through outreach and training approaches. The results of the activities felt by the training participants were that they could get to know the basics of embroidery skills and in the end they could have the skills to increase activity and productivity and it was hoped that it would increase family income. By providing the As-Salam Orphanage with knowledge and skills regarding basic stitching in embroidery, it can be concluded that in this Community Service activity, it is necessary to carry out repeated exercises to produce better work.

Abstract

The cake making business is a home-based business that is widely practiced by people in Pekanbaru. The large demand for cakes is a promising business opportunity. The conditions of intense competition require cake-making businesses to be active in making breakthroughs and innovations, so that their products remain in demand by consumers. The cake-making business as a small business also experiences various obstacles, including low turnover and production capacity, as well as weakness in the marketing aspect, especially in distribution channels for its products. This community service activity is carried out on cake-making entrepreneurs in West Sidomulyo Pekanbaru. This activity aims: 1) cake-producing entrepreneurs can run their business professionally, creatively and innovatively, 2) expand the market for their products, 3) increase their production capacity, 4) increase their expertise and skills in making sponge cakes. Activities in this service include training in marketing management, entrepreneurship, and preparation of financial reports). Based on the implementation and evaluation of the results of activities, it can be concluded that cake-producing entrepreneurs can run their business professionally, creatively and innovatively, and there is an increase in production capacity due to increased demand from customers.

Abstract

The target of the training activity is the young women of the Aisyiyah Women's Orphanage. Children are expected to be able to increase their insight and ability to understand learning in online teaching and learning activities. Although specifically the problem for orphanage children is the weakness of strengthening the ability to master learning materials quickly (Quantum Learning) and soft skills. In addition, this activity can also motivate orphanage children to be more creative, innovative and independent. This community service activity method uses the lecture method by the presenters and direct demonstrations are practiced by the participants, as well as a question and answer session. The introduction of creative online learning media using the Google Classroom application is very inspiring in learning and teaching innovation. By mastering a number of new skills by trainees, it will also have an impact on increasing learning achievement in schools which are now carried out online
