The engine cooling system is a system that functions to ensure engine temperature in ideal conditions. Diesel motor with hopper type cooling system, cooling effect is obtained by crawling the cylinder block heat into cooling water, causing the air to condense to the surface. To reduce the addition of hopper type cooling frequency, it was done to modify the hopper type cooling system to a radiator cooling system, the radiator cooling system is more effective in maintaining engine working temperature. The design of the cooling system is mounted parallel to the pulley, the cooling fan rotation is the same as the engine speed, while the radiator is installed in front of the cooling fan with the cooling fan distance to the radiator 13.5 cm. The thermostat speeds up the working temperature of the engine when the engine is still cold and also functions to maintain the engine always at work temperature. Operation of more than 1 hour of the hopper type cooling system needs to add water and the water temperature reaches 100 ° C past the intermediate working temperature of the machine (70 -80 ° C). In this condition, the type hopper cooling system does not normally maintain engine temperature for a long time because the engine temperature continues to increase, while the radiator cooling system will be stable at the working temperature

Design and manufacture of test equipment centrifugal pump characteristics with a single system, serial and parallel so that the pump does not take place in the election that resulted in excess capacity and excess power can be detrimental in operational costs. Operation of the pump with a single system, series and parallel to the head or the necessary capacity can not be achieved with one pump only, it can be used two or more pumps arranged in series or parallel. This created a tool designed for fluid circulating water from a water bath to v-notch with dimensions size, as follows: High P: 100 mm, Height H: 100 mm, Width B: 350 mm, v-notch Length: 1000 mm , Threshold sharp 90 ° through a pvc pipe with a water pump and piping for setting singly, serial and parallel use a regulating valve (valve). Debit (Q) in a single system with a single pump is: 0.00038 m³ / s. Debit (Q) in series with a double pump system is: 0.00049 m³ / s. Debit (Q) in parallel with a double pump system is: 0.00089 m³ / s.

The processing of smoked fish that is carried out by the XIII Koto Kampar community is still relatively simple, the weaknesses caused by traditional fish smoked include the appearance of being less attractive (partially charred) difficult temperature control and polluting the air. In this research, a fish smoking system was designed using and oven model with a separate combustion chamber, the smoke is flowed through a pipe equipped with a filter and piping design to circulate the smoke evenly to the smoke cabinet. Retrieval of test data in the form of; Efficiency of smoking time by measuring temperature on each shelf and air humidity (RH) in the fumigation chamber, taking proximate content test data to determine moisture, ash, protein and fat content. Temperature testing for 480 minutes while maintaining the temperature between 30-40 ◦C. Humidity at 55% during the curing process and moisture content from 65-48%.

Brick making activities at TB. Sumber Rizki Padang is still done manually using human power and manual equipment. This work is carried out repeatedly which is known can cause injury or spinal disease if the posture at work is not normal. This study aims to analyze the risk of MSD (Musculoskeletal Disorders) and evaluate the work posture of each element of brick making printing work. Based on the results of the NMB (Nordic Body Map) questionnaire distributed to 30 workers, complaints were most often found in the lumbar area ( 90%), back (86.7%), and upper arm (83.3%). Based on the results of calculations using the RULA (Rapid Upper Limb Assessment) method on 7 work postures, it was found that the working posture of mixing material and the process of inserting material into the mold had the largest RULA scores, which were 6 and 4 respectively, which meant that further changes and checks were needed. Improvements to awkward work postures can be done by repairing equipment and workplaces by adjusting to anthropometry from workers.

Breakdown of freight on the front wheel axle truck type cxz-51, Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) method is expected to define the maintenance schedule and know the exact action of maintenance activities. How to determine optimal maintenance measures for the front wheel axle to have a long service life according to performance standards using the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) approach.                   Methods of data collection is done by several methods which include the following: Conduct a direct survey of spaciousness and communicate with the driver of the vehicle about the problem that occurred, where and chronology of events as well as data collection according to the history of steering system truck cxz-5, the method of data processing using pareto diagram.                   The critical component of the sub-assembly of the cxz-51 isuzu steering system can be seen in the figure below, where the bearing com undergoes wear on the inner diameter of the bearing causing the gap between the steering knucle pin and the bearing com to be loose resulting in the bearing undergoing axial and radial pressure causing the collision between the wheel drum with steering knucle.

Secara teknis pemberian air irigasi dan jumlah air yang harus di berikan sangat tergantung pada air yang di butuhkan tanaman dan ketersediaan air irigasi. Diharapkan dengan mengoptimal jaringan irigasi dapat meningkatkan taraf kehidupan sosial, ekonomi dan kelembagaan P3A masyarakat sebagai pengguna air irigasi dengan pendekatan kearifan lokal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penyusunan tesis ini adalah Metode Survey. Data yang diperoleh dari hasil survey dan tanya jawab yang dilakukan analisis agar dapat memberikan informasi sesuai yang diharapkan. Dengan di bantu program SPSS untuk pengolahan data dan menggunakan path analysis untuk menentukan korelasi aspek ekonomi, aspek sosial, aspek kelembagaan terhadap aspek operasi dan pemeliharaan pada irigasi Sei. Paku lipat Kain. Secara simultan terdapat pengaruh signifikan Aspek Ekonomi, Aspek Sosial dan Aspek Kelembagaan terhadap Aspek Operasi dan Pemeliharaan, tetapi pengaruh parsial aspek sosial dan aspek kelembagaan cukup kecil oleh karena perlu tetap di jaga guna keberlangsungan operasi dan pemeliharaan jaringan irigasi yang ada di Sei. Paku lipat kain. Perlu upaya meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat petani yang diwujudkan melalui kegiatan pengembangan dan pengelolaan sistem irigasi yang mendorong keterpaduan dengan kegiatan diversifikasi dan modernisasi usaha tani.

A typical maintenance organisation has responsibility in keeping the production facility running at the desired level performance. In order to ensure that condition, necessary decisions should be made. The Decision Making Grid (DMG) model is one of analysis technique that provides maintenance organisation in strategic and tactical level management to determine the appropriate maintenance policy for all individual machinery and equipment within the facility. In this project, the analysis identified the performance of the personel computer at laboratory facility by conducting availability measurement. The hardware, peripheral, and softwarewhich have breakdown records were analysed then by the DMG model to propose the appropriate maintenance policy for all individual personel computer within the computer laboratory facility. Implementing the DMG recommendations were proposed to follow the suggested priority order.

Workers who work the night shift have a tendency to get stressed and subsequently suffer from fatigue as a clinical symptom. This study aims to formulate an effective strategy of policy to emphasize the reduction in the effect of applying work shifts to the risk of fatigue. Based on the results that the average amount of reactive time for morning shift workers is 0.97 seconds, while for night shift workers is 1.18 seconds. The average amount of blood systole pressure for morning shift workers is 119.22 cm Hg, while for night shift workers is Hg 127.61 cm. The average amount of blood diastole pressure for morning shift workers was 77.44 cm Hg, while for night shift workers it was 82.16 cm Hg. The average heart rate for morning shift workers was 73.93, while for night shift workers it was 76.18. Based on the results of a statistical examination that there is a significant effect on fatigue (p = 0,000), it means that there is a significant relationship between work shifts and stress-causing fatigue (p = 0,000). Therefore, as the proposal of this study and to anticipate the reduction in fatigue, it is important to make improvements and evaluations about the rules of work shifts in a company so that night shift workers can work in safe conditions and rest well after work

This study discusses the problem of decision making to choose the best employee alternatives. To solve this problem Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process is used, the development of conventional Analytical Hierarchy Process which is designed to deal with problems with more subjective criteria. The choice of the best employees with the Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process shows that the subjectivity of the criteria is of greater concern compared to using the conventional Analytical Hierarchy Process.
