Abstract

This research is a pre-experimental study, which aims to determine the application of POSFIVA learning media to improve student interest and learning outcomes. This study used The Static Group Comparison Design model method by forming one group for experiments and one control group. The results showed data on student learning interest in the use of POSFIVA learning media amounted to 66.53% of students gave a very positive response and 33.47 students gave a positive response, with an average score of 89.88. Student learning interest in the use of POSFIVA learning media includes several indicators, namely: (1) interest, (2) pleasure, (3) attention, (4) participation, (5) curiosity. The use of POSFIVA learning media can increase student interest and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of teacher competence in developing a 1-sheet Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) through academic supervision of workshop techniques. This study used school action research with two cycles. The subjects of the study were subject teachers at MTs Negeri 3 Bantul, totalling 28 people. Research instruments in the form of workshop assessment sheets and 1-sheet RPP supervision / assessment sheets. The results showed that in cycle I an average score of 74 was obtained in the good category, increasing quite significantly in cycle II with an average value of 90 in the very good category. The application of academic supervision of workshop techniques can improve the competence of subject teachers in developing RPP 1 sheet. This research has special implications for madrasah heads and madrasah supervisors to implement academic supervision of workshop techniques so that teacher competence can further develop.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of learning attitudes and achievement on differential material with a Jigsaw type cooperative learning model. This study uses classroom action research methods carried out in two cycles including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection activities. The subject of the study was a student of class XI IPS C Madrasah Aliyah Ali Maksum Yogyakarta. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, tests, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that students' attitudes and achievement in mathematics learning increased after the application of the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model. The percentage of increase in student learning attitudes in cycle I and cycle II were 4.84%. In cycle I, aspects of learning attitudes were obtained on average by 66.14% to 69.34% in cycle II. Meanwhile, student achievement increased by 7.80% from 72.56% in cycle I to 76.5% in cycle II.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the module of Poetry Writing Based on Contextual Approaches to improve learning outcomes. This study used the R&D method of Borg and Gall. The subject of the study was a student of grade VIII D MTs Negeri 3 Gunungkidul. The results showed (1) Product characteristics of the Contextual Approach-Based Poetry Writing module as follows: a) in the form of a printed module of Contextual Approach-Based Poetry Writing; b) the material presented is associated with things around life, so that students more easily understand the material; c) module preparation refers to the contextual learning flow; d) the module contains material for writing poetry based on a contextual approach contained in contextual steps; e) Modules can be used in classroom learning and self-study for students at home. 2) The feasibility of the Contextual Approach Based Poetry Writing module based on the assessment of experts, practitioners, teacher, and student responses provides excellent categories and deserves to be used. 3) the product is effective in increasing knowledge, (N-gain score 0.6533), attitude (6%), and skills (9%).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the increase in motivation and learning outcomes of learners using problem-based learning (PBM). This study uses classroom action research methods carried out in two cycles including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection activities. The subjects of the study were students of class XI-A MTs Negeri 4 Kulon Progo. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, documentation, and tests. Data analysis uses qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that the application of problem-based learning can increase the motivation and learning outcomes of students with a percentage increase in motivation and learning outcomes reaching 78.18%. The data obtained for aspects of learning motivation were 78.79% (persevering), 78.69% (tenacious), 84.09% (achievement drive), 76.82% (material hinterland), 77.27% (increased achievement), 77.65% (interest in learning), 77.84% (happy learning), 77.84% (enthusiasm for learning), and 77.27% (responsible).

Abstract

This research aims to develop differentiated teaching modules combined with the project-based learning model to increase students' activeness and creativity in participating in history learning at SMA Negeri 1 Gondang Bojonegoro in the chapter on the Hindu-Buddhist maritime kingdoms in Indonesia. The teaching modules developed will be validated by several experts. The results of this research were that the validation value from material experts obtained a percentage of 82.53% with very appropriate criteria, the validation value from media experts was 78.37% so this teaching module was declared valid. Plus, results the attractiveness test from educators obtained a percentage of 86.80% and from students 88.25% so this teaching module was declared attractive. Based on these results, the differentiated teaching module can be declared suitable for use.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student activeness and learning outcomes in learning Cultural Arts poster making materials. This research using the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method was carried out in 2 cycles. The subjects of the study were students in class VIII-C MTs Negeri 1 Yogyakarta. Data is obtained from teachers (observers) and students through observation, tests, and documentation. The results showed that student activeness and learning outcomes in the learning process through the application of the Canva application have increased significantly. In the first cycle, an average class score of 81.06 was obtained with classical learning completeness of 83.87 with the category of students being quite active. In cycle II, the average grade score increased to 87.71 with classical learning completeness reaching 100% with the active student category. The application of the Canva application in learning Cultural Arts poster making materials can increase student activeness and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the Team Games Tournament learning model in improving learning outcomes in writing English descriptive texts. This study used a class action research method which was carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle consisted of 2 meetings. The subjects of the study were students of class X-C MAN 3 Sleman in the first semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The results of this study showed that there was an increase in English learning outcomes of X-C grade students, which was shown by: (1) the average learning outcomes in cycle I of 72.74 increased to 79.72 in cycle II; (2) learning completeness in cycle I of 62.5% (20 students) increased to 75% (24 students) in cycle II of a total of 32 students. This learning activity shows that the Team Games Tournament cooperative learning model can be applied to materials related to writing descriptive texts.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student activeness and learning outcomes in science subjects. This research is a best practice with the subject of research being class IX-E students at MTs Negeri 1 Bantul. This study tries to describe Rasenda's learning method (Summarizing, Percentage, and Deepening of Material). Data were collected through observation, documentation, and learning outcomes tests. Data analysis uses qualitative analysis techniques. The results showed that the Rasenda model had a positive effect on the activeness and learning outcomes of science. This is shown by the increase in student activity during learning at all stages of Rasenda by 60.8% in material I and increased to 80.7% at the end of material II. Similarly, student learning outcomes are the highest score of 78 in material I to 87 in material II, the lowest score of 60 in material I to 67 in material II, and the average score from 65.56 in material I to 80.20 in material II. The Rasenda method can improve activeness and science learning outcomes in MTs Negeri 1 Bantul for the 2023-2024 academic year.

Abstract

This study aims to improve Mathematics learning outcomes using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. This research is classroom action research with the research subject of grade VIII-B MTs Negeri 3 Bantul students. Research is carried out in 2 cycles and each cycle consists of 2 meetings, covering 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection of learning outcomes is obtained by end-of-cycle tests and processed quantitatively. The results showed that there was an increase in mathematics learning outcomes of grade VIII-B MTs Negeri 3 Bantul students on the "Opportunities" material. This is shown by a significant increase in student learning outcomes which reached an average score of 65 in cycle I and 74.19 in cycle II with learning completeness of 61% in cycle I and 80.6% in cycle II, an increase of 19.6%. Learning using PBL can be used as a reference in mathematics classes in the future.
