Abstract

This study examines the contribution of systematic classroom management and the integration of Islamic values to the development of self-regulated learning (SRL) in Madrasah Tsanawiyah students. The study was conducted using a qualitative approach based on literature review, enriched with semi-structured interviews with a teacher at MTs Muhammadiyah Blimbing in November 2025 to provide an empirical picture of field practices. The analysis results indicate that proactive classroom management—including the formulation of learning objectives, orderly transition arrangements, provision of formative feedback, and reflective closures support the development of forethought, monitoring, and self-evaluation processes in learning strategies. Islamic values such as amanah (trustworthiness), discipline, and muhasabah (self-reflection) strengthen autonomous motivation so that students understand the meaning of learning activities and feel responsible for their tasks. The integration of pedagogical structure and value orientation fosters SRL as a habitual learning practice. Practically, research recommends a structured classroom routine to strengthen autonomy while maintaining the spiritual identity of Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a physics educational game using Wordwall for the topic of linear motion and to assess its feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE development model. The participants consisted of 28 eleventh-grade students at MAN 2 Tuban. Data was collected through expert validation (media and content), student response questionnaires, and learning achievement tests (pretest and posttest). Validation results indicated a high level of feasibility, with average scores of 85% from media experts and 84.6% from content experts. The practicality level, based on student responses, reached 92.86% (categorized as highly practical). The effectiveness of the media was demonstrated by an increase in the average score from 20.18 (pretest) to 36.39 (posttest), with mastery learning improving from 89.29% to 100%. These findings suggest that the Wordwall-based educational game is feasible, practical, and effective in enhancing students’ learning outcomes on linear motion.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using Student Worksheets (Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik/LKPD) designed based on the Discovery Learning model in improving students’ learning outcomes across cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains in Islamic Education (Pendidikan Agama Islam/PAI), particularly on the topic of Rukhsah. The study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach using the Kemmis and McTaggart spiral model, conducted through two action cycles. The research subjects consisted of 14 seventh-grade students at SMP Fatih Bilingual School Banda Aceh. Data was collected through observations of teacher and student activities, as well as learning outcome tests to measure achievement in the three competency domains. The results indicate a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes in each cycle, encompassing cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. Furthermore, students’ learning engagement and the quality of teacher performance during the instructional process showed consistent improvement. These findings demonstrate that the implementation of LKPD based on the Discovery Learning model contributes positively to enhancing the quality and effectiveness of Islamic Education learning.

Abstract

LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) projectors play a crucial role in integrating educational technology, yet their utilization remains suboptimal due to limited user proficiency. This study aims to describe the management and policy of LCD projector use as a cognitive ergonomic tool at SMP Islam Al-Azhar 57 Jambi. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed through observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews, analyzed using source triangulation. Findings reveal: (1) Projector management is systematically implemented through procurement, centralized borrowing, and basic maintenance, although formal SOPs and technical training are lacking. (2) The use of LCD projectors significantly enhances visual comfort, attention focus, productivity, and reduces eye strain, creating a more effective and conducive learning environment. (3) Flexible school policies supported by borrowing and monitoring systems optimize utilization, despite the absence of formal documentation. The study implies that LCD projectors serve not only as instructional media but also as tools contributing to cognitive comfort and improved educational quality.

Abstract

The digital transformation of higher education has accelerated significantly since the COVID-19 pandemic and continues to evolve in the post-pandemic era. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of online learning and to formulate strategic policy directions toward sustainable hybrid learning models. Employing a quantitative descriptive approach, this research utilizes primary data collected from 160 respondents, consisting of students and lecturers at the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. The findings indicate that synchronous learning platforms such as Zoom and Google Meet are perceived as effective in supporting online learning; however, challenges remain in terms of interaction quality, student engagement, and the achievement of learning outcomes. Advanced statistical analysis reveals that perceived usefulness, quality of teaching materials, ease of use, and learning interaction significantly influence student satisfaction and learning outcomes, with learning interest acting as a mediating variable. Grounded in the integration of TPACK, TAM, and UTAUT frameworks, this study highlights that successful digital learning transformation requires not only technological adoption but also pedagogical innovation and institutional support. The study concludes that hybrid learning represents a strategic direction for higher education institutions to enhance learning quality and sustainability in the digital era.

Abstract

This qualitative study aims to analyze the implementation of the Parent Teaching Movement program at SD Negeri Karangmloko 1 in building a synergistic education trilogy between the school, parents, and students. The focus of the study is to describe how this program increases students' learning motivation through direct parental involvement in the learning process. Data was collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with the principal, teachers, parents, and students, as well as document studies, with triangulation techniques to ensure data validity. The results of the study indicate that the Parent Teaching program, implemented through various activities such as career days and skills workshops, successfully creates a motivational learning ecosystem. Parental participation as resource persons not only provides contextual learning experiences for students but also strengthens communication between the school and families. Collaborative support from the school committee and teachers is a key factor in creating an inclusive learning environment and positively impacts the increase in students' learning motivation as well as the strengthening of their character. The findings of this study highlight that the trilogy education collaboration model through the Parents Teaching Movement program is effective in creating meaningful and relevant learning experiences for students' real lives, while also strengthening the synergistic relationship among the three pillars of education.

Abstract

This study is grounded in the importance of educational marketing strategies in enhancing public interest in Islamic boarding schools. It aims to examine the marketing strategies implemented by the leadership of Darul Arifin Islamic Boarding School in Jambi to increase new student enrollment, as well as to identify supporting and inhibiting factors. The study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, utilizing observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation for data collection. The findings reveal that the strategies include early enrollment opening, optimization of social media as a digital promotion tool, and strengthening institutional image. Meanwhile, constraints include limited human resources, unclear status of some teachers, and increasing competition among Islamic boarding schools. These strategies contribute to higher enrollment rates, improved public trust, and stronger institutional competitiveness.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of a Management Information System (MIS) in the New Student Admission process at MTs Negeri 2 Jambi City. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using reduction, display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings reveal that MIS implementation has improved administrative efficiency, accelerated the selection process, and enhanced transparency. However, challenges remain, including limited digital literacy among parents and technical constraints such as network instability. From the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) perspective, user acceptance is influenced by perceived usefulness and ease of use, with higher acceptance among internal stakeholders. The evaluation based on the CIPP model confirms the system’s effectiveness across context, input, process, and product dimensions. Furthermore, the integration of Islamic values—amanah, ‘adl, and hisab—reinforces ethical governance. The study concludes that MIS functions as a strategic tool for improving educational management and service quality.

Abstract

This study examines the suboptimal implementation of the School Management Information System (SMIS) at SMA Karya Pengalihan, Keritang District, Indragiri Hilir. The limitations are reflected in inadequate infrastructure, low human resource competence, and the lack of system integration in school management. The research aims to analyze SMIS implementation, identify existing challenges, and examine management strategies. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed. The study involved five informants, principal, vice principal, SMIS operator, teacher, and administrative staff—selected through purposive sampling. Data collection techniques included observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, while data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model. The findings indicate that SMIS implementation remains limited to basic administrative functions and faces challenges related to infrastructure, user competence, limited training, and resistance to change. Existing management strategies are still technical and have not addressed policy development or human resource capacity strengthening.

Abstract

The transformation of inclusive education policy has become a strategic issue in improving the quality of human resources and enhancing Indonesia’s global competitiveness in an increasingly dynamic and competitive environment. This study aims to analyze the transformation of inclusive education policies and their implications for improving human resource quality and national competitiveness. The research employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method, collecting data from national journal articles, academic books, and relevant policy documents, which are then analyzed systematically through content analysis. The findings reveal that although Indonesia has established a strong regulatory framework for inclusive education, its implementation still faces significant challenges, including limited human resources, inadequate infrastructure, and low public awareness of inclusive education concepts. Furthermore, the study identifies that effective policy transformation requires a systemic approach involving policy reformulation, capacity building of educators, integration of digital technology, and multi-stakeholder collaboration. The proposed policy transformation model serves as a strategic framework to bridge the gap between policy and practice. In conclusion, the transformation of inclusive education policy plays a crucial role in developing high-quality, adaptive, and globally competitive human resources, and therefore must be implemented in a sustainable and integrated manner.
