Abstract

Dengue incidents in Jambi Province have spread to all districts/cities. Muaro Jambi Regency occupies the second position with the highest cases after Jambi Municipality. This study aims to determine the spatial autocorrelation of DHF cases in Muaro Jambi Regency in 2017–2021. The DHF cases analyzed in this study are case data recorded at the surveillance section of the Muaro Jambi Regency Health Office from 2017-2021. This study analyzed aggregate data from 22 working areas of community health centers in Muaro Jambi Regency. The software GeoDa 1.10 was used for analyzing the Global Moran Index and the Local Indicator for Spatial Autocorrelation (LISA). The results of the global moran's index analysis show that in 2017 (I=-0.400; p=0,001) and 2018 (I=-0,277; P=0,006) the pattern of distribution of DHF cases is spread , while in 2019 to 2021 the results of the analysis show that it is not significant. The results of the analysis using LISA found spatial autocorrelation of DHF cases in the High-High category (hotspots) in 2020 at the Tantan 1 Health Center. Areas with the Low-Low category (cold spots) in 2019 were found at the Kebon IX Health Center, and in 2021 at the Tempino Health Center.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries with quite high cases of stunting, making it a serious concern for the government. Stunting must be addressed on multiple levels, not just in terms of nutrition as it is also influenced by inadequate hygiene and unhealthy lifestyle choices. Toddlers who eat unhygienically prepared meals run the risk of contracting infectious diseases. Objective: This study aimed to investigate the between clean and healthy behavior (PHBS) and sanitary conditions on the prevalence of stunting in the Tampa Padang Health Center's operating area. This study used an observational design with a case-control approach. Method: This study was carried out in five villages in the Tampa Padang Health Center's service area. 282 toddlers with stunting served as the study's cases, and 282 toddlers served as controls. Samples were taken froma a proportion of 5 villages so that 282 stunted families were obtained. Then interviews using a questionnaire were carried out to stunted and non-stunted families using simple random. Data from intreviews then analyzed using case control method analysis. sampling. Result: The study's findings demonstrate that the PHBS and Sanitation variables pose no risk of stunting in the Tampa Padang Health Center’s work area since a p-value > 0.05 was obtained from the results of the bivariate analysis with the chi-square test. Conclusion: Sanitation and community PHBS are not risk factors for stunting in the Tampa Padang Health Center’s work area.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic metabolic disease that requires medical attention and self-care management, namely buerger allen exercise and warm water foot bath to avoid complications. One of the complications of DM is diabetic ulcer. The main cause of diabetic ulcers is due to reduced foot sensitivity. Objective to analyze the effectiveness of Buerger Allen exercise and warm water foot bath on foot sensitivity score. The research design is Quasi Experiment non equivalent prepost test and between two groups. In this study, 36 respondents were obtained through purposive sampling. The intervention was carried out for 6 consecutive days with implementation 2 times a day. The instrument used was a 10 gram monofilament tool. Analysis using paired t-test, independent t-test and ancova test. There is a mean difference before and after the intervention on foot sensitivity scores, but there is no significant difference between foot sensitivity scores performed buerger allen exercise with water foot soak (ρ value=0.447>0.05) and there is an influence of confounding variables, namely length of suffering (ρ value=0.000 <0.05). The both exercises can be used as an independent nursing intervention option as a preventive measure for peripheral blood circulation disorders of the feet.

Abstract

Documentation of nursing care is an important part of the nursing process, many methods have been developed to make it easier for nurses to carry out the nursing process. It is hoped that the documentation system developed will be able to facilitate the nurse's task. The palliative nursing documentation process is . special nursing documentation for palliative nursing which consists of assessment, formulation of diagnoses, interventions, implementation and evaluation. The documentation format for palliative nursing care includes a palliative screening assessment. This documentation system was developed in nursing education institutions to facilitate the learning process and provide students with direct experience in the application of the nursing care documentation system, especially palliative nursing. The purpose of this study was to design a computer-based palliative nursing care documentation system. This type of research is design research with expert system analysis. The research activity began with the creation of a diagram of the nursing care documentation process flow system. After the flowchart system is made, the researcher begins to design a system that is in accordance with the flowchart design. The results obtained are the design of the nursing care documentation system and palliative screening. The nursing documentation system can be used for learning palliative nursing care and screening paiative patients using screening. Bivariate analysis shows that mother's knowledge is valuep value 0.000 means that statistically there is a significant relationship between mother's knowledge and events stunting. While the parents' income valuep value 0.000 means that statistically there is a significant relationship between parental income and incidence stunting. Physical quality of water valuesp value 0,000. This means that there is a significant relationship between the physical quality of water and the occurrence stunting. Then the value of hand washing habitsp value 0,002. meaning that statistically there is a significant relationship between the habit of washing hands with the incident stunting. There is a significant relationship between mother's knowledge, parents' income, physical quality of water and hand washing habits stunting in toddlers 1-5 years.
