Abstract

The growth and development of radio in Denpasar is going strictly competitive, therefore the radio needs to maintain their audiences for listening to their broadcast program. The radio broadcast that prioritizes interesting programs by combining various audio elements such as songs, words, other voices, broadcasters and others. Thus, the radio needs to produce good programs which can maintain and attract the audiences. According to the preceded background, the study is focusing on the strategy of Radio Menara FM Bali in maintaining their audiences, especially the fans of Disco Music Collection (DMC) program. The method of analysis used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The research instruments used are observation techniques and interviews. Meanwhile the informants involved are The Program Director, The Music Director and The Radio Announcer or Broadcaster of Menara FM Bali. As for the result, it is found that the strategy implemented by Radio Menara FM Bali in maintaining their audiences of Disco Music Collection (DMC) program is done by building a good and close relationship to the audiences, doing some promotions about Disco Music Collection (DMC) events on social media continuously, and retaining the consistency and characteristic of the broadcaster. In conclusion, the Disco Music Collection (DMC) event at Radio Menara FM Bali has a different concept from other programs and it becomes a radio program with the highest number of interaction between the audiences and the broadcasters through social media

Public relations strategy is one that can dihandal communication in marketing and promoting the product. Of these problems, the researchers raised the title "Strategic Public Relations PT. Telkom South Bali Witel In Building Brand Image Through Promo Products". Problems were obtained, namely how the application of public relations strategy to build brand image ?. This study aims to determine the application of public relations strategy PT. Telkom South Bali Witel in building brand image. Based on the analysis of public relations strategy PT. Telkom South Bali Witel in building brand image through promo products have several ways communicator public relations strategies, goals and strategies in determining the strategy of using media and promotional channels. By choosing and placing the appropriate words and language so that the message would be delivered understood by the public. Abstract

This study is to determine the communication style used by the Makassar women's celebrity instagram in shaping self-image. This study also explores the supporting and inhibiting factors of the Makassar women's celebrity Instagram communication style in forming self-image. The results of this study indicate that the female celebrity Instagram communication style Makassar uses The Dynamic Style communication style with a self-image as a positive person. The controlling style by building self-image as an outgoing and cheerful person. The Equalitarian Style of communication is known as a simple and friendly celebrity Instagram. Supporting factors in communication such as physical, historical, and related conditions have an influence on each informant. Role and historical factors, language factors, as well as content or discussion. Each informant considered that the communication facilities were good enough and did not feel the impact of the communication equipment barriers. To prevent semantic obstacles, each informant is very careful in uploading a photo or video on their Instagram account. In addition, a celebrity tries to find out the character of his followers to avoid misunderstanding from the different backgrounds of his followers

Abstract

The competency of lecturer is the combination of holistic personal, scientific, technological, social, and spiritual competence which construct a standard competency of a lecturer which covers mastery of material, understanding of students in educated lesson, personal, and professional development. There are four competencies of lecturer in general, namely: pedagogical, professional, social, and personal competencies. Those competencies deductively require the lecturer to be competence in science and technology as well as good communication skill.This study aimed specifically at analyzing the importance of communication competency for lecturer in freedom to learn era. The lecturer is expected to create harmonious relationship to the students in guiding students’ development based on the era. The problem studied was regarding the role of communication competency to improve professionalism of lecturer in freedom to learn era.The inventoried problem was studied using structural-functional and constructive theories. The lecturer has communicative competency in freedom to learn era to run effective teaching and learning activity. The lecturer is not merely a teacher and educator but also as facilitator which guides students to reveal their identity and develop independently as according to the era for getting ready to future

Abstract

The rapid development of technology, coupled with the existence of other media that continues to increase makes it easier for everything. Social media is of course owned by the wider community in providing and getting information. This social media also supports business actors in competing in any field, and emphasizes the use of social media to be effective in building and enhancing a brand image. The formulation of the problem in this study, how is the effectiveness of social media as a means of building the brand image of Lv8 Resort Hotel Canggu, so as to know the effectiveness of Lv8 Resort Hotel Canggu social media with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out by in-depth interviews with Marketing Communications and Customer at Lv8 Resort Hotel Canggu. The analysis technique used in this research is the Qualitative Descriptive Analysis Technique. From the research results, it is stated that Lv8 Resort social media is effective as a means of building a brand image

Abstract

An institution or organization should be able to establish good relations with the public. To develop good relations with the public, an organization must select a division or section of Public Relations (Humas). This research is entitled Bank Indonesia Public Relations Communication Strategy in Disseminating the Application of Non-Cash Transactions (QRIS) in Bali Province with the formulation of the problem of how the public relations communication strategy implemented by Bank Indonesia Bali Province in socializing the implementation of QRIS in Bali Province and the inhibiting and supporting factors in mixing the performance of QRIS as well as what benefits are obtainable when the community and government use QRIS in the Province of Bali. This study aims to determine the communication strategy of Bank Indonesia's public relations in the socialization of the implementation of Non-Cash Transactions (QRIS) in the Province of Bali, to find out the inhibiting and supporting factors in the socialization of the performance of QRIS in the Province of Bali. The research method used is the descriptive method. The research design uses a case study in BI Public Relations. The data collection method uses observation, interviews, and documentation methods, and the data analysis method uses descriptive qualitative methods. From the research results or conclusions, the steps obtained to follow the nature of the communication strategy, namely as an instrument to shape and direct people's expectations of the policies pursued and the targets to be achieved. Abstract

In the research conducted, the authors wanted to know how the organizational communication patterns of leaders and employees in the development of organizational communication climate on the Probus System-CV. Mitra Solusi Mandiri Denpasar. This research uses a case study research design. The case study in this paper is to explore a fact, then provide an explanation regarding the various realities found. Therefore, the researcher directly observed the organizational communication process in the Probus System-CV. Mitra Solusi Mandiri in relation to the communication patterns of leaders and employees in developing the organizational communication climate. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. The data used through interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the results of data collection through interviews, the communication pattern in developing the communication climate, the organization refers to the aspects of the organizational communication climate as follows: 1) Trust, trust between leaders and their subordinates, the more accurate the exchange of information, the better understanding of performance goals and the quality of communication. growing taller. 2) Joint decision making, as a leader must involve employees in the decision-making process. Abstract

Communication is an essential thing in life. Concerning on social interactions formed in society; the right realm to be studied in communication science is interpersonal communication. Further concern at the existence and benefits of interpersonal communication in social life, it will be interesting on the implementation of interpersonal communication within accommodation business in Bali. In the study entitled “Implementation of Employee’s Interpersonal Communication to Guests in Achieving Service Satisfaction at Caffe Locca Hostel Sanur Bali’, the researcher implemented a qualitative approach with all employees of Caffe Locca Hostel Sanur Bali as the subject of the research. The employees, as agents of social interaction to guests, are given the freedom to build interpersonal communication. It can achieve service satisfaction reflected in the online reviews of guests on the Booking.com application. The data were collected by interview, observation, and documentation techniques. Based on the results of analysis, it shows that implementation of employee’s interpersonal communication to guests has employed well enough in accordance to five indicators of interpersonal communication, namely; openness, empathy, support, sense of positivity, as well as equality and equality. It could achieve guests’ service satisfaction reflected in the large number of positive reviews in the last two years, 2018 and 2019
