Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ Inquiry cannot be separated in learning science activities. Students are actively involved in constructing knowledge of both hands-on and minds-on. Learning science will be more meaningful when students can get to know the material science is not in the form of textual but contextual where students can learn science closer to the event / phenomenon that occurs in the factual and the environment around them more real. The science acquisition process can be conducted using a scientific approach that is packed with outdoor learning. This article is the result of the study of literature on school-based learning outdoor yard (neighborhood school) which is expected to facilitate teachers in applying scientific approaches and outdoor learning so that students can be closer to the surrounding environment.

The competency of lecturer is the combination of holistic personal, scientific, technological, social, and spiritual competence which construct a standard competency of a lecturer which covers mastery of material, understanding of students in educated lesson, personal, and professional development. There are four competencies of lecturer in general, namely: pedagogical, professional, social, and personal competencies. Those competencies deductively require the lecturer to be competence in science and technology as well as good communication skill.This study aimed specifically at analyzing the importance of communication competency for lecturer in freedom to learn era. The lecturer is expected to create harmonious relationship to the students in guiding students’ development based on the era. The problem studied was regarding the role of communication competency to improve professionalism of lecturer in freedom to learn era.The inventoried problem was studied using structural-functional and constructive theories. The lecturer has communicative competency in freedom to learn era to run effective teaching and learning activity. The lecturer is not merely a teacher and educator but also as facilitator which guides students to reveal their identity and develop independently as according to the era for getting ready to future

Learning process with 3N Tamansiswa approach (Niteni (inquire), Nirokke (copy), Nambahi (add/innovate)) which is based on outdoor learning is an innovative learning inviting the student to think creatively and develop their processing skills in learning. This 3N approach is in line with the scientific approach in 2013 curriculum. The development of Integrated Science Lesson Plan for VII grade students based on 3N Tamansiswa and Outdoor Learning Activity was done to know that the lesson plan is proper to be used to teach integrated science for VII grade students. This research used R&D method from Sukmadinata, that it involves: 1) initial study which includes literature study and the proposal for initial draft of the product, 2) the development of integrated science lesson plan for VII grade of Junior High School students with 3N Tamansiswa approach and Outdoor Learning Activity, and 3) the evaluation with limited trials and wider trials. The data were collected by Focus Group Discussion (FGD), documentation, and distribution of the questionnaire. The result showed that the lesson plan of Science Subject for VII graders with 3N Tamansiswa and Outdoor Learning Activity approaches was proper for teaching science. The quality of the lesson plan was scored averagely in 91 in the good category by reviewers in FGD I. The score was increased to 99 in FGD II in a good category.

Teaching needs specific expertise through education and experience. The lecturing unit of Science Teaching is expected able to help future teachers handle the difficulty of implementing their teaching skills of teaching integrated science. Loads of materials can be a guide for the prospective teacher to learn and apply on each component during teaching. Therefore, this research aims to describe the implementation of simulation method based on the principle of niteni (observe), nirokke (imitate), and nambahi (innovate) in improving the discussion skills of future middle school's science teachers. This research is action research. The research occurred in two cycles with students of Integrated Science Education of Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa as the object of the research. The finding found that there is an improvement of students' discussion skills from cycle I, 64%, to cycle II, 67%.

The application of technology in education in the 4.0 era can make it easier for students to build their knowledge. The model of this research is the Research and Development of Borg and Gall which was modified by Sukmadinata (2006) conducted to describe the development of a Tringo-based digital worksheet that is suitable for use in lectures on Natural Sciences III to increase students' lifeskill. This article discusses the Develop phase. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire technique. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the Digital Worksheet is appropriate to be used in Science III lectures with the average results of expert validator ratings on each aspect as follows: content worthiness of 32.25 (Very Good), Conformity of presentation with learning approaches of 36 (Very Good), Conformity with didactic requirements is 18.5 (Very Good), Conformity with construction requirements (linguistic) is 20 (Good) and Conformity with technical requirements (graphic) is 26.75 (Very Good). The validation results of tringo-based Digital worksheets are declared to meet valid criteria by the validator with an average total validity of 4.0 (valid). The use of digital worksheets was responded positively by students at 80.4% and Lecturers of Natural Sciences III at 84.4%.

Permainan games online sudah tidak asing lagi di kalangan anak-anak sampai dengan remaja bahkan orang dewasa sekalipun. Remaja sudah seharusnya mempunyai pengetahuan tentang bahaya dari game online tersebut namun mereka tetap memainkan game online bahkan ada yang sampai kecanduan. Kebiasaan ini mencerminkan perilaku yang negatif sehingga mereka tidak dapat melakukan aktivitas sehari-hari dengan baik. Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk memberikan edukasi bagi remaja agar memahami bahaya kecanduan games online. Metode yang digunakan adalah psikoedukasi jenis information model melalui ceramah, diskusi, dan tanya jawab. Peserta adalah Remaja Islam Kanggotan (REMIKA) di Kanggotan RT 08 Pleret Bantul Yogyakarta. Kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh 33 orang peserta dari usia Sekolah Dasar sampai Perguruan Tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil diskusi dan tanya jawab pada saat kegiatan berlangsung dapat disimpulkan bahwa sebagian dari remaja belum mengetahui tentang kecanduan games online dan bahanya bagi kehidupan mereka. Hasil pengabdian ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan pada remaja mengenai bahaya games online dan membangun kesadaran untuk melakukan pencegahan sedini mungkin kecanduan games online di Kanggotan Pleret Bantul Yogyakarta. Online games are familiar to children, teenagers, and even adults. Teenagers should have knowledge about the dangers of online games but they still play online games and some are even addicted. This habit reflects negative behaviors so that they cannot do their daily activities properly. The purpose of this service is to provide education for adolescents to understand the dangers of online game addiction. The method used is information model psychoeducation through lectures, discussions, and questions and answers. The participants were Kanggotan Islamic Youth (REMIKA) in Kanggotan RT 08 Pleret Bantul Yogyakarta. This activity was attended by 33 participants from elementary school to university age. Based on the results of discussions and questions and answers during the activity, it can be concluded that some teenagers do not know about online game addiction and its consequences for their lives. The results of this service can increase knowledge in adolescents about the dangers of online games and build awareness to prevent online game addiction as early as possible in Kanggotan Pleret Bantul Yogyakarta.

This discussion explores the contribution of communication science literature to the understanding of corporate culture, advertising, and socio-humanities aspects in the context of community development. In corporate culture analysis, communication science literature highlights organizational identity, company values, and how communication influences the formation of corporate image. This understanding forms the basis for a cohesive organizational communications strategy and a strong corporate culture. In advertising, communication science literature provides insight into consumer psychology, brand image formation, and the impact of advertising on purchasing behavior. Ethical aspects in advertising are also under the spotlight, creating the basis for effective and responsible campaigns. Socio-humanities aspects in communication science literature discuss the role of communication in social change and community development. This literature provides a deep understanding of how communication can be used to stimulate positive change and build sustainability in community development projects. The importance of collaboration between academics and practitioners in integrating the findings of the science communication literature into practical contexts is also highlighted. Conclusions and suggestions highlight the need to apply literature findings in organizational communication strategies and community service, as well as the importance of openness to the latest developments in communication science literature.

Lingkungan memiliki arti penting dalam kehidupan, oleh karena itu perlu adanya pelestarian lingkungan yang dilakukan oleh setiap kelompok masyarakat. Salah satunya yang dilakukan oleh Majelis Desa Adat Kota Denpasar. Dengan menggandeng 35 desa adat untuk melakukan pelestarian lingkungan melalui kearifan lokal yaitu Tri Hita Karana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana perencanaan komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh Majelis Desa Adat Kota Denpasar dalam melakukan pelestarian lingkungan berbasis kearifan lokal. Metode penelitian kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan teknik pengambilan data menggunakan wawancara mendalam dan juga melalui studi pustaka. Adapun pemilihan informan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu Majelis Desa Adat Kota Denpasar melakukan perencanaan strategi komunikasi pelestarian lingkungan melalui 4 tahapan yaitu menganalisis masalah yang ada di masing – masing Desa adat di kota Denpasar, menganalisis khalayak melalui pendataan krama desa dan lingkungan desa, memilih media yang digunakan dimana media yang digunakan untuk pelestarian lingkungan melalui upacara adat, nilai – nilai Tri Hita Karana dan aturan adat dan terakhir evaluasi yang dilakukan saat program berjalan maupun saat program pelestarian lingkungan selesai dijalankan

Usaha perhotelan sekarang ini sudah merupakan suatu industri hotel yang memerlukan sumber dana dan sumber daya manusia dalam jumlah besar. Implementasi komunikasi pemasaran dalam mempertahankan Okupansi Hotel Holiday Inn Expres Tuban Bali adalah dengan menggunakan (1). Penggunaan Iklan (advertising) bisa digunakan untuk berbagai tujuan. Mulai dari meningkatkan kesadaran akan sebuah merek, mengarahkan calon pelanggan, mempromosikan penjualan produk ataupun layanan baru ke pasar (2). Melakukan Promosi Penjualan (sales promosion) Promosi penjualan dapat meningkatkan penjualan sebuah produk dan merupakan bagian penting dalam strategi pemasaran produk. Saat ini, di tengah pesatnya pemasaran secara online, banyak masyarakat yang bisa mendapatkan akses lebih baik tentang sebuah produk (3). Membangun Citra Hotel Holiday Inn Expres Tuban Bali Melalui Humas (publik relations) Membangun citra hotel dengan baik yaitu : Sertifikasi Bintang untuk Hotel. Sertifikasi bintang untuk hotel bukan hanya simbol status, tetapi juga sebuah bukti bahwa hotel tersebut memenuhi standar kualitas tertentu. Hotel berbintang memiliki reputasi yang baik di mata tamu karena mereka tahu bahwa fasilitas dan layanan yang ditawarkan telah diuji dan diverifikasi (4). Penerapan Personal Selling yaitu : pendekatan yang dapat dilakukan dalam aktivitas personal selling yaitu Sales-Oriented Approach adalah Pendekatan yang pertama yang dilakukan oleh wiraniaga dalam membentuk pemahaman konsumen terkait produknya adalah Sales-Oriented Approach. (5). Melakukan Pemasaran Langsung yaitu : Komunikasi yang kuat dengan pelanggan akan dapat memberikan kemmudahan dalam mempromosikan brand di masa depan
