Abstract

Fourth grade medical faculty students of Pembangunan Nsional Univrsity (UPN) had longer duration of sitting in front of laptop and computers due to scientific writing. This condition caused musculoskeletal pain especially neck pain, so there should be effort to avoid this complain. The effort to avoid neck pain was by couselling of ergonomics knowledge and muscular strecthing skill. Counselling was followed by 31 fourth grade students. After counselling there was increasing median knowledge score (before counselling the median score was 60 and after counselling median score was 70). The Wilcoxon test result showed p value = 0.001, it meant that there was difference of knowledge score before and after counselling. Meanwhile, result of muscular stretching exercise showed decreasing index score of disability caused by neck pain from 4 to 1. Wilcoxon test result showed p value = 0.001 which meant that there was difference between index score of disability caused by neck pain before and after ergonomics knowledge, neck muscular stretching, neck pain.

Abstract

Kewajiban guru dalam publikasi karya ilmiah tercantum dalam Peraturan Menteri Negara Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara dan Reformasi Birokrasi (Permen PAN-RB) Nomor 16 Tahun 2009 tentang Jabatan Fungsional Guru dan Angka Kreditnya. Harapan yang ada terkait keharusan mempublikasikan karya tulis ilmiah, ternyata tidak sepenuhnya direspon secara positif. Para guru  Sekolah Dasar (SD) di Kabupaten Majalengka pada kenyataannya masih minim publikasi ilmiah pada jurnal nasional mengakibatkan kemampuan menulisnya tidak maksimal. Sehingga tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah adalah peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam penulisan karya tulis dan publikasi pada open jurnal system. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian adalah mix metod sementara untuk mendapatkan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan teknis pelaksanaan kegiatannyanya dengan coaching clinic. Dari hasil penelitian ini diharapkan guru bisa lebih meningkatkan keterampilan dalam hal menulis dan menyusun gagasan serta mengembangkan struktur kebahasaan yang lebih baik dalam pembuatan karya ilmiah.

Abstract

Building a Village in Lame Village, Leuwimunding District, Majalengka Regency, West Java. In the Medeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Village Building program, we realize one of the Tri Dharma of higher education, namely the field of service. The purpose of implementing this program is that students are expected to gain learning experience through involvement in the community who directly find, formulate, solve and overcome problems in the field. The target audience of the village development that we do is designing and designing and making a Budget Plan (RAB) for the infrastructure of the Sports Center (GOR), Shop House (Ruko), Foodcourt, in Lame village, Majalengka Regency. The MBKM Building Village model is utilized as an intracurricular activity that combines the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education with the method of providing knowledge and work experience to us in planning, implementing and supervising village development activities, by applying the knowledge of the courses taught as supporting the implementation of MBKM Building Village activities, so that the final report of the activity is submitted as an assessment of the courses taught.
