Abstract

The lack of learning media is one indicator of science learning less favored by elementary school students. The use of instructional media can overcome students' difficulties in understanding contextually material. The purpose of this research is to produce integrated learning media Computer Assisted Instructional learning material "rain" material in improving critical thinking skills of third grade elementary school students. This research method uses research & development with the Borg & Gall development model and field trials using one-group pretest-posttest design at SDIT Al-Khoiriyah Al-Husna Sukabumi. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, questionnaires, and tests. Data collection instruments included interview guidelines, observation sheets, questionnaire sheets, and test questions. The results of this study are in the form of learning products for Computer Assisted Instructional integrated science elementary school with "rain" material. The results of the product validation show that the integrated Computer Assisted Instructional learning media is appropriate for use in elementary science learning with an average rating from the "Very Good" category validator. Field trial results show that the integrated Computer Assisted Instructional elementary school learning media with "rain" material is effectively used in the elementary science learning process to improve students' critical thinking skills with a gain of 0.81. So that the results of this study can be used in the learning process of science in students of SDIT Al-Khoiriyah Al-Husna Sukabumi and developed in other SD / MI.

Abstract

This article is a conceptual study of the cognitive conflict approach as an alternative to changing student misconceptions in the learning process. The cognitive conflict approach is based on Piaget's theory of cognitive development, especially about equilibration. The study was conducted through a research library. This study discusses misconceptions and their causes, Piaget's theory of cognitive development as the basis for changing student concepts, and cognitive conflict approaches to overcome student misconceptions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how children's acceptance begins school; and how parents' strategies to maintain the fun of children early in school. This qualitative research was explored through observation techniques to parents in utilizing children's sense of schooling; and interviews with parents as research subjects, and also to children as informants and subanalysis of research on the acceptance of children attending school and parents' tips in utilizing the joys of children attending school; and family documentation to see the child's age of birth. This research is analyzed systematically through theories relating to pedagogy and psychology. The research findings show: all children have the same acceptance, that is; feeling happy when starting formal schooling in the elementary school; the strategy of parents with high school education and scholars who is using and conditioning consciously the joys of children in school; and parents who have junior high school education submit to children through teacher guidance; and parents who have an elementary school education fully surrender to children without guidance.

Abstract

Learning motivation is a very important aspect as a step to improve students' learning achievement. In this context, educators have a very big role and responsibility in fostering students' learning motivation, which is one of them by providing an evaluation of learning. The aim is to find out whether the evaluation of learning that has been carried out so far is able to significantly influence the motivation to learn MTs NU Banat Kudus students. The study was conducted using a qualitative design with a case study method obtained from the results of the interview. The results showed that the evaluation of learning is able to give a very big influence on the motivation of students in learning. So it can be concluded that the evaluation of learning is an important component of education, because it is very influential on increasing student learning motivation in increasing volume and learning strategies.

Abstract

Moral decadence, pornography, cyberbullying, hoaxes, and hate speech are negative realities that occur in the fourth revolution industry. Parents need to take preventive steps to protect children both in the family and at school. Reconstruction of parent partnerships in schools is a necessity for children's knowledge, competitiveness, and noble character. The research with a qualitative descriptive approach aims to describe the form of partnerships between parents in schools in strengthening the existence of the Islamic personality of children in the current era of the industrial revolution 4.0. The data collection method used is a content document and data analysis techniques using content analysis techniques. The form of a partnership of parents in schools in the fourth industrial era is done by 1) reinforcement of two-way communication based on information technology, 2) Parental Classroom, 3) parents Community, 4) Parent's involvement as motivator and Inspirator, 5) parents ' engagement in Class. In the fourth industrial revolution, strengthen the existence of children's character with Islamic values can be done by following the five pillars, namely moral acting, moral knowing, moral loving, moral modelling, and compunction. Through the five pillars are expected to strengthen the existence of children's character in this disruptive era.

Abstract

Efforts to help students and teachers in the Indonesian language learning process are by developing teaching materials through Islamic stories. This study aims to describe specifically the products made, in the form of Indonesian language teaching materials through Islamic stories for the fourth grade thematic at MIN Beji Pasuruan, as well as to see the differences in the learning outcomes of students who use and not the teaching materials. This type of research is in the form of research & development taking the theory of the Dick & Carey model. The research form is descriptive with a combination of qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The qualitative approach is validated by material experts, media experts, Indonesian language learning experts / classroom teachers, and students, and the quantitative approach uses the T test formula and uses SPSS computer calculations. The results showed that textbook products met valid criteria: the level of validity reached 95% for material expert tests, 96% for design experts, 98% for Indonesian language learning experts. Tested in small groups and the results reached 94% and 95%. He learning outcomes also showed an increase effectively by looking at the mean score of the experimental class 92 and from the control class 76.  In the T test using a correlation t-test formula with a confidence level of 95%, the results of t count ≥ t table are 5.44 ≥ 2.14, meaning that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So that there are significant differences in the development of textbooks.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find information related to the implementation of Work From Home (WFH) on GPAI’s performance in the Covid-19 pandemic situation. This research was conducted by applying qualitative methods. Respondents were randomly selected, namely 10 GPAI from 10 sub-districts in Semarang Regency. Respondents were randomly selected, namely 10 Islamic Religious Education Teachers consisting of 10 different districts in Semarang Regency. There are two types of data, namely primary data and secondary data. Primary data is obtained by conducting interviews indirectly through a Google Form questionnaire distributed via Whatsapp, while secondary data were obtained through literature and related articles. The results showed that the impact of WFH on GPAI’s performance was influenced by two factors including driving factors and inhibiting factors. The driving factor is the motivation that arises and a sense of responsibility from the GPAI concerned and the inhibiting factor is in the form of problems with device usage skills, limited internet quota, limited internet access, and so on.
