Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have an important role in the Indonesian economy, contributing significantly to Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and employment. However, many MSME players face obstacles in optimizing their potential, especially in terms of capital, use of technology and halal permits. This research aims to analyze the influence of these factors on the production and income of MSMEs assisted by Rumah BUMN Medan City. This research dataset involved 100 MSMEs taken using the Stratified Simple Random Sampling technique. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with a correlational approach and path analysis (Path Analysis), to measure the direct and indirect influence of variables such as capital, length of business, halal permits, and production volume on income. The research results show that capital does not have a significant effect on the amount of production and income, while the length of business has a positive effect on these two variables. Halal permits have been proven to increase production but do not directly affect income. The production quantity variable functions as a strong mediator between exogenous factors and MSME income. The implication of this research is that MSME players need to focus on sustainable business management, increasing entrepreneurial experience, and obtaining halal certification to increase product competitiveness. In addition, the results of this research provide policy recommendations for the government to support the empowerment of MSMEs through more equitable and technology-based financing and training.

Abstract

As the number of vehicles in Indonesia increases, the need for fuel also increases, creating significant challenges at rural gas stations such as Sungai Bahar Unit V. This research aims to analyze the queuing system at SPBU 2536307, with a focus on the Pertamax line which only has one server. Research data was collected through observations for seven days, recording customer arrivals from 07.00 to 17.00. A quantitative approach using queuing theory, especially the M/M/c model, is used to analyze arrival data, service time, queue length, and service system efficiency. The research results show that the average hourly customer arrival rate ranges from 15.5 to 25.1 vehicles, while the average service time is 2.3 minutes per customer. Queuing system performance analysis reveals the probability of no customers (P₀), the average number of customers in the system (Lₛ), the average time in the system (Wₛ), the number of customers in the queue (Lq), and the average waiting time (Wq ). In peak periods such as 07.00–08.00, the queue reaches an average of 22.73 customers with a waiting time of 0.87 hours. These results indicate that service efficiency can be increased by increasing the number of servers or optimizing service time. The implications of this research offer strategic recommendations for gas station managers to reduce queue lengths and increase customer satisfaction. In addition, this study provides a new perspective on queuing systems in rural areas, which have different characteristics and challenges compared to urban areas.

Abstract

Based on observation, the researcher noted that the grade X teacher at SMA Swasta Al-Washliyah 1 Medan did not use media or teaching aids in teaching trigonometry. The learning process only relies on textbooks from the government, Student Worksheets (LKS), and the lecture method, so it is less interesting and tends to be boring. The material presented is also limited to printed mathematics books, without any teaching aids or other learning media that can help improve the effectiveness of learning. This research aims to develop learning media in the form of ropintri teaching aids at Al-Washliyah 1 Medan Senior High School that are valid, practical, and effective to improve student learning outcomes. This type of research is the development of Thiagarajan's 4D model (define, design, develop, disseminate). The sample in this study were 28 students of class X-A SMAS Al-Washliyah 1 Medan. The techniques used in data collection are using questionnaire validation sheets, practicality instruments and test instruments. From the trial results obtained the results of ropintri props have met the criteria very valid based on expert assessment of 90.70%; ropintri props have met the criteria very practical based on a response questionnaire of 90.9%. The ropintri teaching aids met the criteria of being very effective from student learning outcomes of 96.42% with a gain increase of 0.6364 in the medium category. It can be concluded that ropintri teaching aids are valid, practical, and effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Quality education is very important to form superior and characterful Human Resources (HR). One of the main goals of education in Indonesia is to form a Pancasila Student Profile, which is in line with Pancasila as the basis of the country. One of the challenges in education is the low mathematics learning outcomes of students in Indonesia, as reflected in the 2022 PISA survey. For this reason, innovation is needed in learning methods, one of which is through TPACK-based differentiated learning by strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile. This research aims to examine the effect of TPACK-based differentiated learning on students' mathematical problem solving abilities, as well as how strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile can support this goal. This research uses a One Group Pretest-Posttest experimental design. The research sample consisted of 31 class VIII students at SMPN 2 Girsang Sipanganbolon, Simalungun Regency, who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data was collected through mathematics learning outcomes tests before and after treatment, and analyzed using the Richaroon formula (2013). The results showed a significant increase in students' mathematical problem solving abilities, with an average pretest score of 70.47 and posttest 77.81. Testing for normality and homogeneity shows that the data is normally and homogeneously distributed. The t test produced a calculated t value of 28.080, which shows that TPACK-based differentiated learning by strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile is effective in improving students' mathematics learning outcomes. The implication of this research is that this learning method can be applied to improve mathematics learning outcomes while forming student character in accordance with Pancasila values.

Abstract

Innovation in learning is essential to enhance student engagement and motivation in understanding the material interactively, considering the challenges faced by conventional methods in capturing students' attention. This research aims to develop the Rhythm Blade game based on Virtual Reality (VR) using the Unity Engine as an innovative learning medium. This game is designed by combining elements of music, rhythmic movements, and narrative-based challenges to create an immersive learning experience, aimed at enhancing players' cognitive and motor skills. In its development, this game adopts the Mechanics, Dynamics, Aesthetics (MDA) design approach to balance educational and entertainment aspects. The problem faced is the lack of enjoyable and interactive learning methods in teaching motor and cognitive skills through digital media. The test results show that this game not only succeeded in improving those skills but also provided an enjoyable learning experience. These findings indicate the significant potential of using VR-based games as effective learning aids in the digital era, although improvements are still needed in menu transitions and visual effects to reduce the likelihood of motion sickness in some users. This research makes an important contribution to the application of VR technology in education.

Abstract

BPJS Kesehatan, as the organizer of the National Health Insurance (JKN), continues to strive to improve service quality and ease of access for its participants through technology-based innovations. In 2024, the Mobile JKN Application has been downloaded more than 40 million times on Google Play Store, providing convenience for 276.9 million people registered as JKN participants to access effective healthcare services. This study focuses on analyzing user satisfaction with the REHAB feature on the Mobile JKN Application using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method. UEQ consists of six evaluation aspects: Attractiveness, Perspicuity (Clarity), Efficiency, Dependability, Stimulation, and Novelty. The study employed a questionnaire-based testing method, UEQ, which lasted for one month. The research targeted residents of Palembang City who use the REHAB feature on the Mobile JKN Application, with a total of 131 respondents. For the dimensions of attractiveness, clarity, efficiency, accuracy, stimulation, and novelty, the obtained scores were above 0.8, indicating above-average ratings. This suggests that, overall, user evaluation of the REHAB feature on the Mobile JKN Application is positive. Based on the evaluation conducted using the UEQ method, which assesses user experience across six scales, the aspects of attractiveness, clarity, efficiency, and accuracy received excellent ratings. This indicates that the REHAB feature is highly appealing, easy to understand, efficient, and effective in meeting user needs.

Abstract

Stunting is a significant issue in Indonesia caused by nutritional deficiencies that can lead to slower growth, cognitive impairment, and learning disorders. The stunting rate in Indonesia in 2022 was 21.6%, and the government aims to reduce this rate to 14% by 2024. Meanwhile, the stunting rate in Kulon Progo Regency reached 14.8%, placing it as the second highest stunting rate in the Special Region of Yogyakarta Province. Therefore, an effective strategy is needed to implement the acceleration program for reducing stunting in Indonesia, particularly in Kulon Progo Regency. One approach to reducing stunting is utilizing geographic information systems to map the distribution of stunting cases and potential causes. This study aims to analyze the spatial distribution of stunting cases in Kulon Progo Regency. The research method is a descriptive quantitative study using a geographic information system application, ArcGIS. The subject of study covers all stunting cases in Kulon Progo Regency from 2021 to 2023 based on secondary data from the Kulon Progo Health Office with a total of 5986 cases. The results of the study showed that stunting cases in Kulon Progo district formed a random pattern with a Moran's index value of -0.063811, and a p-value of 0.869570. In addition, the number of integrated health posts in this area is quite evenly distributed with more than 50 integrated health posts.

Abstract

In the educational process, it will be found that mathematics learning will be learned from the early education level, the average student has difficulties in solving mathematical problems, especially the ability to solve mathematical problems that affect students' answers, starting from understanding the problem, the problem-solving process, and rechecking whether the answer is correct or not, students are still relatively low. Many factors can affect low problem-solving skills such as monotonous learning and conventional learning. This study aims to find out how much influence the peer instruction flipped learning model has on mathematical problem-solving skills. The type of research used is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental method. The population in this study is 296 students and a sample of 66 students. Data collection was carried out using SPSS 29 and a problem-solving ability test in the form of an essay (description) which was compiled according to the problem-solving ability indicator according to polya. The results of the study, namely in the N-Gain test, there was an influence of the flipped peer instruction learning model on the mathematical problem-solving ability of students in the experimental class by obtaining an increase of 47.80 or 48% in the medium category. In the results of the Difference test (T-Test), it can be seen from the value of Sig. (2-tailed) obtained a significance value of 0.024 < 0.05 so that H_0was rejected and H_a accepted. So it can be concluded that the influence of the peer instruction flipped learning model on students' mathematical problem-solving ability is in the medium category.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of higher education on students' readiness for digital business opportunities. The main findings show that students feel that the curriculum lacks practicality, and they emphasize the importance of practical experience and closer integration with industry. Students also criticized the lack of awareness of digital business trends and recommended more practical approaches, such as actual case studies and closer collaboration with companies. The results of this study provide important insights for higher education institutions to update their curricula, ensure students' engagement in practical experiences, and increase their awareness of digital business dynamics. In addition, collaboration with industry is crucial to ensure students are prepared for the challenges and opportunities that arise in this digital era. This research can serve as a foundation for policy and practice changes in higher education institutions, creating graduates who are more practically and conceptually prepared for the evolving business world.

Abstract

The implementation of E-Government in various government sectors, including Bekasi City, encourages the development of effective and efficient information systems. One example is the Integrated Accounting System (SATe). This study aims to analyze the Influence of Usability, Information quality and Interaction quality on User satisfaction on the SATe Website application using the Webqual 4.0 method. Webqual is one of the methods or techniques for measuring Website quality based on end user perceptions. Website quality can be assessed by three dimensions of Webqual 4.0 consisting of user quality, information quality and interaction quality. The objects of the study are Usability, Information quality, Interaction quality and User satisfaction. The subjects in this study were users of the SATe Website application. The data used are primary data collected from respondents using a questionnaire instrument, namely 108 respondents consisting of Treasurers and Assistant Treasurers of SKPD Bekasi City and Accounting employees of BPKAD Bekasi City who use the SATe Website application. Based on the results of the research that has been conducted, it can be concluded that Usability, Information quality, and Interaction quality simultaneously have a significant influence on the level of user satisfaction of the SATe Website application, while partially, the Usability and Interaction quality variables have a significant influence on user satisfaction of the SATe Website application, but Information quality does not affect User satisfaction.
