Jurnal Kepariwisataan Indonesia : Jurnal Penelitian dan Pengembangan Kepariwisataan Indonesia diterbitkan dua nomor dalam setahun yaitu setiap bulan Juni dan Desember oleh Direktorat Kajian Strategis, Deputi Bidang Kebijakan Strategis, Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif/ Badan Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif. Abstract

This study aims to examine how the effect of service quality on the purchase of tourism services with price perceptions as a moderating variable in the tourist attraction at Goa Kreo Semarang. The population in this study is the visitor society who makes purchases of tourist services at the tourist attraction of Goa Kreo Semarang, where the number is unknown. The sampling method was accident sampling and the sample was 100 people. The results of this study indicate that the variable service quality has a positive and significant effect on the purchase of tourism services at Goa Kreo Semarang. The price perception variable is positively and significantly able to strengthen the relationship between service quality and the purchase of tourist services at Goa Kreo Semarang.

Abstract

Tourism in the ASEAN context is considered substantial in supporting the economic growth acceleration in each ASEAN country. Therefore, ASEAN has formed a joint strategy to support tourism development in each ASEAN member country through the formation of the ATSP (ASEAN Tourism Strategic Plan). Indonesia is one of the ASEAN member countries also has focus on the tourism sector. One of the provinces with good tourism opportunities in Indonesia is West Sumatra. This study will analyze how West Sumatra maximizes tourism potential through the implementation of ATSP. The method chosen to explain and analyze the problem in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytic type of research. Through a qualitative approach allows researchers to be able to produce a detailed description of the policies taken by the Government of West Sumatra within the framework of the ATSP for regional tourism development. The findings of this study indicate that the government of West Sumatra has not yet maximized the potential of the region in the tourism sector and has not implemented ATSP thoroughly.

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the use of virtual reality (VR) in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic to increase destination sustainability and to explore the authenticity of VR experiences as a substitute for real-life experiences. It begins by giving a brief background of the effect of the COVID 19 crisis on the tourism industry. Then archival research or document review is used to collect the data, it may, therefore, be analyzed through a thematic and content analysis. This paper showed VR is considered as a viable instrument to promote the sustainability of tourist destinations not only from an environmental and cultural perspective but also the economic aspect of host communities through the development of alternate forms of income. Promoting the use of VR may mitigate the possibility of virus spreading, increase destination sustainability and provide another option for a wider audience of visitors to see how prospective and worthy the sites are.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the impacts, efforts, and constraints of restaurant managers in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic and the new normal. The research method used is qualitative research with exploratory descriptive analysis. The population and samples used in this study were three people who manage the restaurant at Ruko Golden 8 Gading Serpong, Kelapa Dua District, Tangerang, each restaurant representing one person to be interviewed. The results of this study revealed that the Covid-19 pandemic and the new normal have a big impact on the sustainability of restaurant.

Abstract

Covid-19 is a lethal virus that is being faced by the world. Many sectors are affected by the virus, including the marine tourism industry and all people who work in this industry. This study aimed to investigate the impact of Covid-19 on souvenir traders in the marine tourism area in Indonesia. The researchers used a qualitative method to collect the data and descriptive analysis to analyze the data. The findings show that Covid-19 has detrimentally affected souvenir traders in marine tourism areas in Indonesia as they lost nearly 100% of their income from tourist visits. To overcome this income deficit, most of them choose to switch professions to become farmers, fishermen, seaweed farmers, and antiseptic gel makers

Abstract

This study is to uncover the spatial potential that includes landscaping and areas in the Mount Nona Tourism Spasial, Enrekang Regency, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. Data collection methods by field survey, literature review and documentation. Data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively, processed using Arcgis 10.5. The results showed that the Mount Nona Tourism Area has fulfilled aspects of 4A tourism products, namely Attractiveness, Amenity, Accommodation and Comfort. While the potential for landscaping is located in the area of ​​5,219 ha which is administratively located in the Tanete, Mindante, Batu Noni, Bambapuang and Rosoan villages. The topography starts with a minimum height of 140 masl and a maximum of 1,540 masl. Villa Bambapuang, Dante Pine, Buttu Macca, Mandu Site, Goa Japan and Outbond Bambapuang. The movement of tourists throughout 2018-2019 are in all tourist attractions in the Mount Nona Region, with the highest hotspots. This study discusses the Regional Government for the Gunung Nona Tourism District District in the Provincial and National Tourism Development Strategic Plan.
