Abstract

In this work, we investigate the scaling properties related to the nonlinear fractional diffusion equations and indicate the possibilities to the applications of these equations to simulate the water transport in unsaturated soils. Usually, the water transport in soils with anomalous diffusion, the dependence of concentration on time (t) q and distance (x) may be expressed in term of a single variable given by λq = x / tq . In particular, for q = 1/2 the systems obey Fick’s law and Richards’ equation for water transport. We show that a generalization of Richards’ equation via fractional approach can incorporate the above property.

Abstract

The problem of estimating cell probabilities from incomplete tables, that is when either the row or column variable missing for some of the subjects is very common. This article describes Lattice Conditional Independence Model to estimate cell probabilities in incomplete contingency table.

Abstract

There are many ways to determine total of production, one of them is by using fuzzy logic. At the research was used fuzzy inference method Mamdani model. The design of the system to get the output done in several stages namely: [1] the formation of fuzzy sets, [2] the implications of the application function, (3) establish the rules-the rules, [4] defuzzyfication. In this research, defuzzyfication is performed using Composite Moment (centroid) method. With this system expected to be made to assist companies in making decisions to determine the number of production must be producted every month to warehouse inventory remained stable.

Abstract

In linear models with independent observations, parameter constraints are usually handled by transforming the explicitly constrained model to implicitly constrained model, that takes the form of reduced-parameter. In this paper will be proofed that in mixed linear models (can used to analyze longitudinal data), explicitly constrained mixed model equivalent to the implicitly constrained mixed model with using general solution for linear equality constrains on the parameter.

Abstract

ELECTRE II method is widely acknowledged to be used to analyze policies involving qualitative and quantitative criteria. Ranking procedure on the ELECTRE method was preceded by the forming of a directed graph as a representation of outranking relations. One of the weaknesses of ranking procedure based on the level / common procedure is if there were cycles in the graph that formed, the process becomes complicated. In this paper, ranking based on total domination by exploiting the transitive closures matrix formed that is from the representation of outranking relations in adjacency matrix, then compared with the ranking based on the level / general procedure. To determine the coefficient of weight for each criterion by using the entropy method. As an application, both ranking procedure used to determine the priority for rebuilding a damaged bridge of flood disaster in Trenggalek. Comparison of two procedures and the sensitivity analysis are done by changing some of threshold corcondance and discordance.

Abstract

Woven is one of art thats very close to life. Woven has a pattern consisting of two-dimensional (2D) and has a basic pattern. Along with the development times, technology is also growing including computer technology. Computer can be used for mathematical calculation process, one of them is fractal. Fractal Sierpinski carpet is formed from a square that use Iterated Function System (IFS) method. This method is exact self-similar resulting in the same fractal with the original constituent object. The writer want to get woven pattern using computer technology, that is GUI application in Matlab that utilizes the IFS method on fractal. Woven patterns formed from woven that have a grid size of n x n and are given a few iterations. So, that it can make it easier for craftsmen to make woven pattern that are interesting and varied.

Abstract

Modified ant Colony algorithm is an extension of ant colony algorithm, it obtained based on observations of ant capabilities to sensing complex environments for search of food. In this paper will be reviewed the implementation modified ant colony alghorithm to the scheduling of steel production using 2 jobs 3 machines and 3 jobs 3 machines in the PT Hanil Jaya Steel using modified ant colony algorithm approach for minimization of makespan time from the whole jobs and at the end of the discussion in this thesis will study the implementation of modified ant colony algorithm in software.

Abstract

Samarinda is one of the big city in Kalimantan since it is a capital city of East Kalimantan Province. Its population is about 988,943 in 2015, but only 28.62 percent of the whole households were applying clean and healthy living behavior. To encourage this behavior to the society, it needs some health promotions to be introduced to them. In order to know the pattern of clean and healthy behaving households with respect to time, so this research is aimed to perform a mathematical model of the implementation of clean and healthy living behavior which involves health promotion. Runge-Kutta is the used model to solve this model. The result informs that the rate of change of the households which implement a clean and healthy life, called as good people, increases for all sub-districts in Samarinda City. In contrast, households that do not know and do not behave clean and healthy life, called as bad people, are reduced because of the promotion. Keywords: clean and healthy living behavior, health promotion, modeling mathematics.

Abstract

We formulate evolution tube defined by Bezier dan natural curve in three steps as the following. Firstly, calculating the parametric surfaces of Bezier and natural evolution tube defined by Serret Frenet frame is done. Secondly, we formulate parametric continuity for joining the tubes. Finally, the application of those formulas for modeling the tubes by using computer are simulated.

Abstract

Goal programming is linear programming technique which is used to solve problem with some goals. This method used to minimize the undesirable deviation from some targets which want to be reached. The targets expressed in a mathematic equation called constraint function. There are two constraint functions, goal constraint function and structural constraint function. On this paper solution of the optimal product combinations problems will be finded from nata de coco packs which have purpose to minimize ripening and sale maximization.
