Abstract

Its research is a descriptive qualitative research. The sampling method in this study used purposive sampling with 10 Informatics Management students in the first semester of the 2022/2023 academic year as subjects, who took Basic Mathematics courses. These students have difficulty solving differential problems, especially material on chain rules and high-order derivatives. The results of the Mid Semester Examination (UTS) obtained were only able to be answered by 20% of students. The purpose of this study was to analyze students' difficulties in answering differential questions, done by looking at learning outcomes and by collecting information obtained during interviews, based on four aspects of expertise, namely: 1) Information skills, 2) Arithmatics skills, 3) Language skills, and 4) Number fact skills. The method of information analysis is carried out by: collecting information, reducing, presenting information, and drawing conclusions. Data collection in this study used a triangulation procedure, namely by equating the information on the test results with the results of the interviews. The results of this study are that students have difficulty solving differential problems when viewed from the four aspects of expertise. Factors causing difficulties in this ability are 1) students are not able to analyze the correct method that will be used to solve the differential function reduction, 2) students do not understand mathematical operations well, and 3) students make mistakes reading and interpreting questions.

Abstract

Jurnal ini mempersembahkan pengembangan Mecha, sebuah aplikasi seluler yang bertujuan untuk menyediakan layanan perbaikan kendaraan dan meningkatkan basis pelanggan bagi bengkel perbaikan skala kecil. Pengembangan ini menyoroti signifikansi teknologi, terutama smartphone, dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan dampaknya pada berbagai sektor, termasuk bisnis. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi pemilik kendaraan saat mengalami kerusakan tiba-tiba dan kesulitan yang dihadapi bengkel perbaikan kecil dalam menarik pelanggan. Metodologi agile diadopsi dalam proses pengembangan Mecha untuk memastikan fleksibilitas, adaptabilitas, dan implementasi berkualitas tinggi. Penelitian ini juga mencakup analisis SWOT dan Business Model Canvas (BMC) untuk Mecha, yang menyoroti kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman, serta key partners, activities, value propositions, customer relationships, customer segments, key resources, dan channels. Pengembangan bisnis menekankan pentingnya Mecha dalam menjawab kebutuhan pemilik kendaraan dan mendukung pertumbuhan bengkel perbaikan kecil di era digital.

Abstract

Rancangan pola karpet dapat dirancang dalam model fraktal dengan menggunakan komposisi komponen collage sedemikian yang membentuk obyek seperti bentuk wajik. Teknik perancangan multi-obyek baik model non-overlap maupun model overlap dari dua obyek dapat menghasilkan rancangan pola karpet wajik yang menarik yang dilakukan dalam beberapa fase, tergantung kebutuhan seberapa rapat pola yang diinginkan, termasuk versi warna inversi. Pada makalah ini dibahas cara memperoleh rancangan pola karpet wajik model non-overlap sampai fase-4 dan model overlap sampai fase-3.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the applicatio of webbed based worksheet to improve student science process skills. This study used a one-group pretest and posttest pre-experimental research design. 26 students in class VIII-D participated in this study from 39 JHS in Surabaya. Datas were collected through teaching activity, science process skill pretest-posttest, and students’ responses. The collected teaching activity was calculated using modus, the improvement of SPS was analyzed using n-gain value and students’ responses will be shown by percentage. The result of study was shown an improvement in the observations of how the learning was being put into practice, with modus 3 in good categoty. The N-Gain result was 0.73 on high category to demonstrated students' science process skills development from the result pretest posttest. The webbed based worksheet on human skin health received a positive responses from students, with a percentage of 95% on very good category. The result indicated that the application on webbed based worksheet can improved students’ science process skills on skin health theme. Keywords: Webbed type, Student Process Skills

Abstract

In this study a device was designed to detect human blood group using the ABO method which is integrated with a blood oxygen saturation meter. This tool can detect agglutination or non-agglutination reactions in blood samples that have been treated with antisera and will then be read by three TCRT5000 sensors which are reflective sensors used as detectors of A, B and Rhesus antigens when agglutination and non-agglutination reactions occur on paper. blood sample test. In addition, the MAX30100 sensor is also used to measure blood oxygen saturation in the human body. Data that has been read by the sensor will be directly processed by Arduino Uno and the results from reading by the sensor will be displayed on the 16x2 LCD. In testing the human blood group detector designed where the results of all tests on the respondent's blood samples totaling 8 blood samples obtained a success value of 100%. In addition, the results of testing the Oxygen Saturation Measuring Instrument using the MAX30100 sensor obtained an accuracy value of 99.53%.

Abstract

As a learning topic in programming, sorting numbers can be visualized as a puzzle game to increase the engagement of learners in learning the logic of programming through a game. In programming, there are several ways in solving a problem that can be represented by several choices to play a game. In this paper, a sorting game as a puzzle game is chosen in the form of a grid with four rows to four columns. There are four ways to play sorting sixteen arbitrary numbers by exchanging a pair of numbers chosen through the swap as a game feature. The number of steps of each choice can be compared, to which one is the most efficient. So as a game-based learning, sorting numbers as a puzzle game can be used to enhance the engagement of learners to learn introductory programming.

Abstract

Abstract: Choosing the right learning media can help students to get a better learning achievement. YouTube is known as the most visited video sharing and creating site in the world. This study aims to explore about students' perception towards using YouTube media in their learning process of English listening skills. Students tend to feel bored due to monotonous learning activities in the classroom without audio-visual media. This study also explored students’ perceptions on the types of videos they most prefer as a learning media in Junior high school. The subjects of this study are eighth grade students of one of junior high school in Karawang. This study used qualitative descriptive as the method. The data was collected from an online questionnaire through Google Form to make it easier to collect and analyze data. The result of this study showed that students have positive responses towards the English learning process in listening skills using YouTube. Students agree that using YouTube media as a learning tool in listening skills makes them more interested and motivated in deepening their English skills both for listening skills and speaking skills. They also recommended YouTube as an English learning media due to various video types that were provided in YouTube media.

Abstract

Minat baca merupakan suatu aspek penting dalam kehidupan, terutama pada bidang pendidikan. Minat baca di Indonesia juga dipengaruhi oleh penggunaan gadget. Pada era digital ini media konvensional mendapatkan tantangan untuk dapat beradaptasi terhadap persaingan dengan media masa digital yang saat ini ramai digunakan oleh masyarakat di Indonesia. Masyarakat Indonesia lebih cenderung menggunakan media digital dan juga memiliki tingkat minat baca yang rendah, dan juga media cetak berupa majalah harus melakukan adaptasi terhadap perkembangan teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat desain yang bisa menarik pengguna untuk membaca majalah guna meningkatkan minat baca di era digital.

Abstract

The flood problem in Pulisan village that occurred in 2019 is one of the problems that needs to be addressed immediately because it causes losses to residents living around the river, and disrupts vehicle traffic. One of the causes of flooding in the Pulisan river is the magnitude of the run off and the large flow rate so that potential flooding events can occur. Therefore, run-off control is needed in the upstream area of the Pulisan river. Pulisan watershed has a total watershed area of 3.25 km2 and has 9 tributary channels. The location reviewed is in the Pulisan river channel with selected sections is the channel of 5 Pulisan rivers which has a watershed area of 0.2512 Km2. The Araren-Pigrandma MRG rain post and the Maen Climatology rain post are sources of maximum daily rainfall data used with a time span of 2002 to 2021. HEC-HMS software is used to obtain the parameters needed to obtain a peak discharge of 2.2 m3 / second and a planned flood discharge. HEC-RAS software to analyze water level and flow rate when using gully plug. The simulation results show that from several types of gully plugs, a significant reduction in flow speed is in type 60 gully plugs, namely the flow speed to 0.6 – 1 m / second, the flow speed does not cause deposits in the channel.

Abstract

One of the graduation requirements to get a bachelor's degree is to complete the final project. The implementation of the final assignment consists of several stages, starting with the submission of the proposal, proposal presentations, final project guidance, final project presentations, and final project defense. The Faculty of Engineering (FTEK) is one of the faculties at the Nusantara Islamic University (UNINUS). The implementation of the final assignment at FTEK UNINUS has not been well integrated because it still uses several different tools at each stage, making proposal seminar schedules, final project presentation schedules, and final project defense schedules is also still done manually by education staff (tendik). One of the ways to integrate the implementation of the final project is through information system development. Therefore, a website-based final project information system application was developed using the waterfall software development method with UML, the JavaScript programming language using the NextJS framework, and the PostgreSQL database. The result of this study is the final project information system website application, which is expected to help related parties at FTEK UNINUS implement their final project step by step
