'A Jamiy: Arabic Language and Literature Journal (p-issn: 2252-9926 and e-issn: 2657-2206) is a scientific journal that has published scientific papers since 2012. This journal is a Linguistics and Literature journal that is published twice a year in June and September by the Arabic Literature Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Muhammadiyah University, Gorontalo. This journal discusses language problems that are examined in the branches of applied linguistics, such as sociolinguistics, discourse analysis, critical discourse analysis, pragmatics, stylistics, corpus linguistics, and others. In the field of literature, it includes literary history, literary theory, literary criticism, and others, which may include written texts, films, and other media. We only accept scholarly papers written in Bahasa Indonesia, Arab and English.

Abstract

This study discusses the form of illocutionary speech acts in Humūd Al Khudher's songs entitled Kun Anta (كُنْ أَنْتَ), and Salamy (سلامي). The purpose of this study was to identify the form of illocutionary speech acts in Kun Anta (كُنْ أَنْتَ) and Salamy (سلامي). The method used in this study is the listening method which is continued with the basic tapping technique then continued with the advanced technique I, namely the capable free listening technique (SBLC) and continued with the advanced technique II, namely the recording technique. An assertive speech act is a utterance intended to bind the speaker to something that happened, to the truth of the proposition that is expressed and can be judged right and wrong. the assertive type of utterance in the lyrics of Humūd Al-Khuḍer's song is to inform and affirm. A directive speech act is a speech intended by a speaker to make a speech partner do something, the directive type of utterance in the lyrics of Humūd Al-Khuḍer's song is to advise. And expressive speech acts are utterances intended to express the psychological state of the speaker specified in the propositional content, the expressive type of utterance in the lyrics of Humūd Al-Khuḍer's song is regret, respect and giving do'a.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the originators of western and eastern realism and the differences between western and eastern realism. The method used to describe the originators of the western and eastern realism schools and the differences between the western and eastern realism schools by using qualitative methods and collecting data using documentation techniques, namely library research. The results of this study are: First, the figures of Western realism are Gustave Flaubert, Guy De Maupassant. Second, realism figures in the East are Mahmud Taymūr, Taufiq El-Hakim, and Najib Mahfudz. Third, the West applies the concept of this flow to various genres of works of art such as painting, sculpture, fine arts, theater, novels and short stories. While the concept of realism in the East only applies this flow of realism to literary works in the form of novels, short stories, dramas and poetry.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesalahan fonetik bahasa Arab para santri di pondok pesantren modren ta'dib Al-syakirin pada saat Muhadoroh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Kemudian teknik analisis data memakai model milles dan harbonmen.Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 20 santri sebagai responden yang diwawancarai dan diobseservasi memliki kesalahan fonetik bahasa Arab yang hampir sama yaitu mengartikan huruf ع terdengar seperti huruf ء , huruf ض terdengar seperti ظ , huruf ش terdengar seperti س , huruf ث Terdengar seperti س , huruf ه terdengar seperti ح , huruf ق terdengar seperti ك , huruf ص terdengar seperti س , huruf ط seperti ت dan huruf ظ terdengar seperti ذ , ج , ز , د . Penyebab kesalahan terjadi menurut hasil wawancara peneliti yaitu karna jarangnya kegiatan pelatihan untuk memperbaiki pelafalan huruf arab dan para santri masih menganggap bahasa arab sebagai bahasa yang sangat sulit dipelajari.Dengan adanya penelitian ini semoga menjadi pertimbangan para pendidik untuk memperbaiki kesalahan fonetik bahasa arab para santri.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the elements of surrealism found in the poem "Syaiun Sayabqa Bainana. This study uses a constructivist research paradigm, while the research approach used in this study is a qualitative research approach in which this approach is in the form of information or data collected in the form of words, the analysis used in this study is based on logic. The technique of free association or the creation of other forms appears most often in Faruq Juwaidah's lover, who is forced to separate in order to obtain freedom. Because there are many forms of expression expressed by Faruq Juwaidah which have many other meanings outside of realism

Abstract

تهدف هذه الرسالة المتواضعة إلى التحليل والنقد على قصيدة البردة للإمام البوصيري من وجهة علم البيان، والمنهج المستخدم في هذا البحث هو منهج بحث مكتبي أدبي كيفي وصفي. وكان مصدر هذا البحث هو كتاب كواكب الدرية في مدح خير البرية للإمام البوصيري. وتتكون البيانات من البيانات الأولية والبيانات الثانوية باستخدام مدخل متعدد التخصصات. فقام الباحث باستخدام طريقة جمع البيانات من خلال اقتباس القصيدة والتحليل تحليلاً نقدياً أدبياً تمثيلياً ثم قام الباحث بعد ذلك بمراجعتها واستنتاجها. وأما عملية تحليل البيانات تمرّ على النحو التالي: (أولاً) تحليل نوع من أنواع البيانية في قصيدة البردة للإمام البوصيري مع ربط ألفاظها بالآيات القرآنية والأحاديث المتعلقة. (ثانياً) تحليل جمالية الألفاظ وتركيب قصيدة البردة للإمام البوصيري. فأظهرت نتائج البحث في هذه الدراسة على أن قصيدة البردة للإمام البوصيري تشتمل على عدة نوع من أنواع علم البيان. فوجد الباحث أربعين مقطعًا من التشبيه وستة وأربعين مقطعاً من  المجاز واثنين وعشرين مقطعًا من الكناية. واحتوت هذا القصيدة على آيات القرآن والحديث. أما جمالية التركيب الموجودة ومادة ألفاظها فهي تشمل على الخيال والوزان وإيقاع ألفاظها وقافية الشعر الكلمات الرئيسة:  نقد الأدب، قصيدة البردة، البيان

Abstract

Menurut Ibnu Jinni seorang ahli bahasa Arab memberikan definisi bahasa adalah bunyi-bunyi yang diucapkan oleh setiap kelompok masyarakat untuk menyampaikan maksud  mereka. Al-Qur'an merupakan alat komunikasi antara Allah dengan hambanya, sehingga setiap ayat yang ada didalam al-Qur'an baik itu berbentuk itu berbentuk perintah, larangan, kisah, ataupun bentuk lainnya yang ada didalam al-Qur'an itu berfungsi sebagai sebuah pelajaran, petunjuk, serta suri tauladan bagi manusia. Kalimat tanya merupakan kalimat yang isinya menanyakan sesuatu atau seseorang kepada pendengar atau pembaca. Kalimat ini sering disebut dengan kalimat interogatif. Dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk dan makna kalimat tanya dalam surat an-Nazi'at. Dengan itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa didalam surat an-Nazi'at ini, terdapat 6 (enam) ayat dari kata tanya yaitu pada ayat 10, 11, 15, 18, 27, 42. Kata tanya tersebut adalah  ayat 10 adalah hamzah (apakah?), ayat 11 adalah hamzah (apakah?), ayat 15 hal (apakah?), ayat 18 adalah hal (apakah?), ayat 27 adalah hamzah (apakah?) dan ayat 42 adalah ayyᾱna (kapan?). Dan makna dinamika kebahasaan kalimat istifhᾱm majazi didalamnya, yaitu al-isti'bᾱd (menganggap kejadian itu tidak mungkin terjadi), al-inkᾱri sebuah penolakan. at-tasliyatu (menghibur). at-taqrῑr (peringatan), keras atau penegasan), at-taubῑh (menjelekkan). al-inkᾱr (penolakan). At-ta'dzῑm (mengagungkan). at-tahqῑr (meremehkan)

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of metaphorical language in the fable Al-Dīku Al-Żarīfu by Kamil Kailani. The method used in this research is descriptive analytic method with a qualitative approach. Data obtained through literature study and recording techniques. Data analysis was carried out using the equivalent technique between metaphors and their meanings as well as analytic descriptive techniques. The results of the study show that in the fable story Al-Dīku Al-Żarīfu by Kamil Kailani uses various kinds of metaphorical language styles which are quite diverse and creative in enriching the story. The use of metaphorical language style can be found in every part of the story, from character introduction to problem solving. Some of the metaphors found include personification, simile, metonymy and synesthesia. The use of metaphorical language style in the fable story Al-Dīku Al-Żarīfu can have a significant influence on the reader's understanding of the story. The use of metaphors makes it easier for the reader to imagine the situation that is happening and makes the story more lively and interesting. In addition, the use of metaphors also gives nuances of beauty and a deep impression to the story.

Abstract

Sastra Arab dengan eksistensi serta perannya terhadap peradaban dunia tak dapat dinafikkan terutama dari sudut pandang cendekiawan. Hal ini oleh sebab sastra Arab juga turut menyumbang potensinya pada terbentuknya peradaban saat ini. Selain itu sebagai seorang pelajar, perlu mengetahui apa saja pembentuk peradaban saat ini. Maka tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengungkap kontribusi tersebut, sehingga membuka mata bagi para pembaca dan merubah persepsi keliru yang kemungkinan ada dalam benak para pembaca. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kajian pustaka (Library Research). Hasil penelitian ini dibarengi dengan sejarah yang mengungkapkan implikasi nyata sastra Arab terhadap perkembangan peradaban. Sejarah menunjukkan, perkembangan terus mengalir dan satu-persatu menjadi komponen pembentuk majunya dan tegaknya peradaban dunia saat ini. Bagi pembaca serta peneliti selanjutnya, kiranya dapat mengambil manfaat serta terbuka terhadap tulisan ini. Karena keterbukaan terhadap ilmu pengetahuan ibarat dua sisi mata koin yang berbeda dengan tanpa justifikasi sepihak.

Abstract

Moral values in life become one of the important aspects in supporting life, especially social and community life. So that this becomes the main focus point, because there are many deviations in moral values in the Bodour character. So this research has the aim to describe how the form of moral values in the character Bodour in the novel Zeina by Nawal El. Saadawi. The method in this research is descriptive-qualitative method of content analysis with the perspective of Lucien Goldmann's genetic structuralism. The object of this study is the novel Zeina by Nawal El. Saadawi. The focus of this research is in the form of human facts, collective subjects, worldviews, structuring of literary works and dialectical methods which are explanations as analytical tools, which are associated with moral values in the novel. The instrument of this research is the researcher himself. the data analysis technique used by the researcher was reading Zeina's novel by Nawal El. Saadawi. Analyze moral values, enter the results of the analysis, and conclude the results of the analysis. The moral values of the mother figures analyzed in this study are: (1) Honesty, (2) willingness to take responsibility, (3) courage, (4) humility. The research results obtained from data analysis on Zeina's novel by Nawal El. Saadawi, stated that the moral value that stands out is a warning for women to always be able to choose the best environment, choose the right partner. Because it is an important aspect of life. The figure of Bodour herself has given a very significant picture of the role of women in the family, society and state.

Abstract

Priority And Delay is an Arabic style that prioritizes or ends lafadz with certain causes and purposes. The aims of this study are (1) to determine the form of taqdim wa takhir fii Juz Amma; (2) to find out the cause of Priority And Delay In Juz Amma. This study used qualitative research methods. The object of this research study is juz 30 in the Qur'an or known as Juz 'Amma. Data analysis by collecting data followed by classifying and identifying data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The result of this research is the discovery of 3 forms of Priority And Delay In Juz Amma and 5 causes of Priority And Delay In Juzz Amma.
