'A Jamiy: Jurnal Bahasa dan Sastra Arab
'A Jamiy: Arabic Language and Literature Journal (p-issn: 2252-9926 and e-issn: 2657-2206) is a scientific journal that has published scientific papers since 2012. This journal is a Linguistics and Literature journal that is published twice a year in June and September by the Arabic Literature Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Muhammadiyah University, Gorontalo. This journal discusses language problems that are examined in the branches of applied linguistics, such as sociolinguistics, discourse analysis, critical discourse analysis, pragmatics, stylistics, corpus linguistics, and others. In the field of literature, it includes literary history, literary theory, literary criticism, and others, which may include written texts, films, and other media. We only accept scholarly papers written in Bahasa Indonesia, Arab and English.

<![CDATA[Poetry is processing words into a beautiful sentence, in which the word is not like the words conveyed in everyday life. In this case poetry contains implied meaning in it so that in interpreting a poem requires thinking that is sensitive to the object in question. Riffaterre argues that poetry expresses something indirectly or says something by meaning something else. This study carries out the meaning of poetry by using Riffaterre's semiotic theory. In finding the significance of poetry, the researcher uses the analytical method proposed by Riffaterre, namely heuristic reading and hermeunitic reading. In heuristic reading, the researcher found various ungrammaticalities that hindered understanding. According to Riffaterre, to overcome these obstacles the researcher must continue reading at the second level, namely hermeneutic reading.In the second level of reading, ungrammatical is not a hindrance but a guide to significance. The object of this research is Nizar Qobbani's poem entitled "Al-Quds". Nizar Qobbani's poetry which is examined in this study contains a human element to the tragedy that occurred in Palestine. The results of the analysis show that the tragedy that occurred in Palestine as an ungrammatical appearance in the poem has become a guide to significance. ]]>

<![CDATA[The background of this research is the existence of contradictive from the imla rules regarding hamza qath'i and washli contained in the Indonesian standard Qur'anic manuscripts and researchers are trying to uncover these anomalies in surah al-Kahf. It is very unfortunate that the application of the imla rules of hamzah qath'i and washli is not taken into account by the Indonesian standard Qur'anic manuscripts, even though the hamzah qath'i and washli in the imla rules have a special place in the Arabic writing system. This deviation can cause the reader to get stuck in reading the verse, because there is no clear difference in writing between hamzah qath'i and wasli. The method used is descriptive qualitative approach method. Furthermore, the analytical method used is content analysis rules. From the results of the study it shows that in Surah al-Kahf in the Indonesian standard Mushaf there are 116 words that have deviations from the imla rules which are dominated by 52 isim, 44 fi'il and 20 letters. This is due to the preference of the state, printing and school of thought in writing of the Koran.]]>

<![CDATA[Semiotika adalah ilmu yang mengkaji tentang tanda-tanda. Salah satu teori semiotika tersebut adalah terdapat dalam puisi Abu Atahiyah yang berjudul ذهب المداوي Ùˆ المداوى. Puisi tersebut menceritakan bahwa kematian akan datang kepada siapa saja. Puisi ini dipilih karena memiliki nilai estetika dan kompleksitas semiotik yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis semiotika Michael Riffaterre dalam puisi berjudul ذهب المداوي Ùˆ المداوى karya Abu Atahiyyah. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui struktur dan makna yang terkandung dalam syair Abu Atahiyah tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-analitis untuk menganalisis puisi secara mendalam. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah pendekatan semiotika Riffaterre, yang memfokuskan pada konsep "texte" dan "paratexte" dalam karya sastra. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa puisi ini mengandung berbagai lapisan makna dan kompleksitas semiotik. Puisi ini menggunakan bahasa metaforis dan simbolis untuk menyampaikan pesan-pesan yang tersembunyi. Dalam menganalisis syair dari Abu Atahiyah ini dilakukan pembacaan heurestik dan pembacaan hermeneutik. Saat pembacaan heurestik dilakukan pada puisi tersebut masih memiliki makna yang terpisah, tersebar. Setelah dibaca pada level kedua atau pembacaan hermeneutik serta dengan adanya matriks, model dan hipogram maka didapatilah makna dari sair Abu Atahiyah tersebut bahwa dia menceritkan dalam syairnya bahwa kematian akan datang pada siapapun saja, dan juga didapati arti dari judul syairnya adalah “orang yang mengobati dan orang yang berobat akan matiâ€. Penerapan konsep semiotika ini berimplikasi terhadap perspektif seseorang dalam membaca dan memahami karya sastra, dan memperkaya pengalaman seseorang dalam menikmati puisi secara holistik.]]>

<![CDATA[This article discusses the semiotic study of the Quran using the heuristic and hermeneutic approaches developed by Michael Camille Riffaterre. The focus of the analysis is on Surah Al-Anbiya' verses 59-62, which narrate the story of Prophet Ibrahim and his struggle against idol worshipers. In the heuristic analysis, the research centers on understanding the surface text of the Quran, such as the dialogues and actions of Prophet Ibrahim and the reactions of the idol worshipers. This heuristic analysis reveals the chronology of events and actions of Prophet Ibrahim and underscores the importance of understanding the literal meaning of the Quranic text.Meanwhile, Riffaterre's hermeneutic analysis delves deeper into the hidden meanings and implications of this story. In these verses, there is symbolism that reflects a shift in the mindset of the idol worshipers as they come to realize their error. The consequences of misguided beliefs and the wisdom of worshiping Allah as the One and Only God become the moral message highlighted in this hermeneutic analysis.This semiotic study of the Quran provides a more comprehensive understanding of the story of Prophet Ibrahim and idol worship in the cultural and religious context of that time. The heuristic and hermeneutic approaches used by Riffaterre help unearth deeper meanings and relevant moral messages that can be applied in everyday life. <![CDATA[ This research aims to get the word that falls instead in Ta’lim al-Muta’allim Thoriqa at-Ta’allum of Sheikh Burhanul al-Islam al-Zarnouji. The methodology used (Documentary Method), which relate to the research to be researched by the researcher, which is the in ta’lim Muta’allim thoriqat ta’allum of Sheikh Burhan Islam Al-Zarnouji. The curriculum for the Arabic term is for the researcher to choose from the limits of the form and its definitions, her plains, and the whole of them for the term's meaning. Then the parts of the definitions discuss a discussion that discovers their dimensions in all respects. It then mentions grammar that explains the Arabic side, in particular, accompanied by its testimonies and representation, and its explanations only mention the language's logic. After studying allowance seekers in ta’lim Muta’allim thoriqat ta’allum of Sheikh Burhan Islam Al-Zarnouji, the researcher found 73 words that become instead.]]>

<![CDATA[Egyptian society is known as a nation that has a good culture from ancient times, it is not only good that it turns out that Egyptian society also has other cultures. This study aims to find out how the life of Egyptian women in the novel Al Ifthor Al Akhir Karya Hisyam Syaban, according to Ian Watt's perspective. This study discusses how the description of the life of Egyptian women is in the novel. The method used in this research is descriptive descriptive research method. The data taken by the researcher is in the form of words that describe the reflection of the life of women in Egypt. The results of the study show that the researcher found 2 data from the novel Al Ifthor Al Akhir which reflects that there is peace for women in the Egyptian area, 3 data states that women are in a powerless position and 3 data states that many affairs have occurred.]]>

<![CDATA[Saat ini, berita yang dipublikasikan melalui media online memiliki banyak keunggulan dibandingkan berita yang dipublikasikan melalui media cetak. Berita dalam media online lebih cepat dan lebih mudah untuk diakses, fleksibilitas dan kapasitasnya yang luas dapat mempengaruhi para pembaca untuk memilih berita yang dipublikasikan melalui media online. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk, menganalisis, mengatahui, menguraikan dan memahami jenis, makna, dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya polisemi dalam bahasa arab yang terdapat pada media online di CNN Arabic. penelitian ini menggunakan kajian kepustakaan dengan metode kualitatif. Melalui penelitian ini peneliti mendeskripsikan fenomena atau gejala kebahasaan yang terdapat bentuk polisemi pada kata atau frasa yang ada pada media online CNN Arabic. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan teknik catat dengan mencatat potongan kalimat-kalimat di dalam media online CNN Arabic melalui tabel disertai makna, kalimat, dan jenis katanya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa polisemi adalah kata yang mengandung makna lebih dari satu. Dalam media online CNN Arabic terdapat beberapa jenis polisemi. Pembagian polisemi dari hasil analisis yang dilakukan peneliti berdasarkan kelas kata pada media online CNN Arabic diantaranya yakni polisemi kata verba, polisemi kata nomina, dan polisemi kata adjektiva. ]]>

<![CDATA[Moderation is one of the most popular-discussed themes lately. Therefore, this study aims to reveal the meaning of probability in the moderation verse through qualitative research with descriptive-interpretative characteristics to describe opinions and ideas as well as to verify and interpret the data contained in the moderation verse. Obviously, this research is part of library research with a language and semantic approach. Methods of data collection through library research, editing, organizing, finding and documentary. Data analysis through deductive, interpretive, and comparative techniques. The results of the study show that the word (al wasth) has a meaning: a name between two sides, honesty and justice (al-'adl wa al 'iada), the meaning of choice (al khiyar), moderate, and balance. Al Wasth is between excess and negligence (al-irath wa al tafrith), moderate in faith and belief, moderate in the needs of the soul and body, and moderate in spiritual and material matters. The causes for the occurrence of probability meanings in words (al wasth) include: verbal association (polysemy), integration of morphological formulas and changes in true meaning to metaphors. It is hoped that the results of this research will have advantages and benefits in deepening the unique language and diction of the Qur'an al-Karim and its deep connotations. This paper certainly supports the concept of religious moderation in Indonesia to tackle religious extremism and terrorism. Understanding the meaning of moderation will open opportunities for dialogue, openness and tolerance.]]>
