Welding is a method of joining two or more metals with electrode extension media using current heating and voltage according to the variation in the thickness of the iron material used. Welding is one of the connection media with a patent system, meaning that the results of the process can be changed by damaging the results of the welding process. From looking at several welding workshops, almost all of them to do welding are under or on the ground so many workers complain that they tend to be more tired and the welding results are less than optimal, especially for symmetrical or straightness of the connection results. The method used in this research is to design a welding table that is adjusted to the level of needs, especially for the height of the table and the centric axis to combine so that the results of the connection process are completely straight and reduce the results of welding defects. The purpose of designing this welding table is to use it as a method for working on the welding process so that the welding results are really strong and straight according to the design drawing. From the results of the design process, a welding table is obtained with iron material as a table base to place the workpiece to be cut. using borders of iron with a thickness of approximately 120 x 240 x 40cm using Material: Iron plate about 5-6 mm thick. In addition, the results of the design process also reduce the welding process time for blunt joints from 85 seconds to 48 seconds, overlap joints from 85 seconds to 60 seconds, and T joints from 88 seconds to 81 seconds. The quality of the welding results is visually better, the results of welding defects are smaller and straighter or symmetrical

As technology advances, one issue that needs to be taken into account is the consumption of power resources as one of the supports. Technology use needs to be balanced with resource management for electricity use. Furthermore, there is electrical energy waste due to the community's growing requirement for electricity usage. Changes must be taken, such as utilizing energy-saving technologies or moving to ecologically friendly items, to help reduce the usage of electricity resources. Creating applications that are eco-friendly and encourage energy savings is one way that many application developers are now addressing the issues at hand. One such way is by utilizing smart home technology (Smart Home). The design thinking methodology is applied while creating interface design, specifically in the areas of UI and UX design. Every step of the design thinking process—empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test—will encounter loops indefinitely until a specific circumstance is satisfied. Figma is the tool used in this application to build UI/UX design. By keeping an eye on devices that are no longer in use and tracking potential cost savings, the application design outcomes should be able to lower the use of electrical resources.

PT. XYZ is a steel manufacturing industry that operates in the field of Engine and Valve spare parts with Investment Casting production. The number of product requests that fluctuates every year causes PT. XYZ needs to design optimization of production facilities to meet demand. However, with the investment value required being quite high, there is a need for analysis related to optimizing production facilities for the long term. This research aims to determine the strategic planning of operations and business planning needed to increase production capacity and to determine the corrective steps taken to increase production capacity. This research uses a long-term planning method, namely strategic planning, where with Strategic Planning you can plan organizational goals in detail regarding determining strategies, policies, and strategic programs needed to ensure that strategies and policies have been implemented. Apart from strategic planning, investment value analysis is carried out using Return of Investment (ROI) to measure the level of profit that the company invests in capital. Strategic planning begins by looking at the strengths and weaknesses of the company's current condition using the SWOT method, then continues with operational and business planning, quality policy and planning, quality costs, as well as monitoring and evaluation. The reengineering points in this research are related to strategic planning on optimizing production capacity and investment. Previously 50% of production capacity was planned to be carried out by vendors, whereas after reengineering the focus was on 90% of production capacity provided by internal

Coal mining activities often produce acid mine drainage characterized by low pH values below 5 and high concentrations of heavy metals including iron (Fe). If the water is not managed properly, it can impact the environment due to the influence of acidity and high concentrations of dissolved metals. This research aims to utilize the combination of activated limestone and fly ash by heating at 110°C for 3 hours for acid mine drainage treatment, namely neutralizing pH and adsorbing heavy metal Fe. The selection of adsorbent materials was based on economic considerations, abundant availability, and utilization of fly ash waste. The method used was batch adsorption experiments with contact times of 30 and 60 minutes. Acid mine drainage from coal mine with initial pH 4.55 and Fe metal concentration 7.58 mg/L. The adsorbent combination of limestone and fly ash in the ratio of 1:1, 1:2, and 2:1. From the experimental results, it was obtained that the adsorbent combination was able to neutralize pH up to 6 and remove Fe up to 1.35 mg/L was the ratio of 1:2 with a stirring time of 30 minutes. So it can be concluded that adding fly ash dose 2 times compared to the dose of limestone is more effective to raise the pH value and remove Fe heavy metal, because the higher the dose given, the more ion adsorption sites will be available

One of the organizations in Aceh that deals with religious instruction and learning is Dayah DMA. Students who pursue higher education and are enrolled in religious education institutions are known as mahasantri, and they are thought to possess greater physical and psychological development than students in regular schools. No doubt learning in two distinct locations has different job demands, which could put more strain on Mahasantri's mind. This study aims to determine the causes of high mental load on mahasantri and investigate potential disparities in mental burden according to gender, status, and class levels. Purposive sampling is used in this study to handle primary data from 56 mahasantri respondents who completed questionnaires as part of a quantitative approach. According to the research that was done, 50% of mahasantri, or 28, report having a significant level of mental strain. Physical demand has the highest impact on mahasantri's mental burden, accounting for 18.35% of the total. Subsequently, an independent sample t-test conducted with SPSS version 26 was employed to statistically evaluate the average mental burden score to ascertain whether mental burden varied according to gender, status, and class level categories. The burden for gender and status categories did not differ, according to the results. But in terms of mental load, there was a notable variation for the class level category

Due to environmental changes, ensuring access to clean water is challenging for many regions. This study examines how wind speed influences seawater evaporation rates in a desalination system. Conducted indoors, the research varied wind speeds (0.6 m/s, 0.7 m/s, and 0.8 m/s) while maintaining a consistent temperature. A modified window Air Conditioner (AC) served as the evaporation unit, with its condenser immersed in water to utilize released heat, and its evaporator used as a condenser. Water temperature was maintained at 60-70°C. Results demonstrated a significant increase in evaporation rates with higher wind speeds. The strong correlation between experimental and theoretical results underscores wind speed as a critical factor in enhancing freshwater production efficiency from seawater. These insights inform the design of more effective desalination systems, offering potential solutions to water scarcity challenges in vulnerable regions

Based on initial observations, information from green clam shell collectors that the production of green clams in Kampung Kerang Hijau, Cilincing, North Jakarta, can reach 5 tons/day when the condition of the clams is abundant and can reach 1 ton/day when the condition of the clams is declining. Based on this number, until now green mussels are only used for their meat to be consumed by the community and the waste accumulates in landfills and causes an unhealthy environment for the surrounding community. Based on this background, as an effort to reduce green clam shell waste, improvements need to be made. The purpose of this study is to be able to determine the optimal formulation/composition of green clam shell powder in the manufacture of bricks and to determine the characteristics/properties of bricks produced through testing rules. The method used in this study is an experimental method, carried out by making samples, testing samples, and drawing conclusions with comparative techniques against standards. The results obtained in this study are the optimal composition to produce good quality bricks, namely by using a mixture of 10% fine shell powder on sand. The characteristics or properties of the resulting bricks are with a compressive strength value of 10.26 N/mm2, water absorption of 16.45%, and resistance to nails (not broken or cracked)
