Abstract

One important aspect in supporting the smart city concept is adequate information technology infrastructure. The Sidoarjo district government has made many innovations in making this happen, one of which is the construction of an intranet and internet network using fiber optics which is centered in the Data Center and managed by the Sidoarjo District Communication and Information Center. As a work unit in the field of ICT infrastructure and security at the Sidoarjo Regency Diskominfo, it is responsible for serving reports from the OPD (Regional Apparatus Organization) regarding intranet and internet network problems in the Sidoarjo regency environment. However, the reporting system used is still very simple and manual. The aim of this research is to design and build a web-based system that functions as a complaint, documenting work, and reporting handling related to intranet and internet network problems at the OPD in Sidoarjo Regency. In collecting data, this research used qualitative methods. Meanwhile, system development uses the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method with waterfall model, and uses Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) as system modeling. This application was built using PHP with the CodeIgniter framework and MySQL. The results of this research show that the system makes it easier for related parties to make complaints, document work, and report handling.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Presidential Decree No. 99 of 1988 are small-scale people's economic activities with business fields that are mostly small business activities. However, in MSMEs, there are several types of obstacles including data collection of stock of goods, transaction reports and financial statements that are not effective and efficient. Therefore, researchers want to change the way store management uses modern methods by designing a point of sale system as an android-based platform for MSMEs Established Stores. Point of Sales systems help various retail businesses make buying and selling transactions quickly, safely, and systematically. POS also includes modern cash registers commonly used in some stores or businesses. The design of this system uses technology from Firebase, namely the Realtime Database feature. The result of this study is an android-based point of sale application. Point of sale applications can simplify the management process at Established Stores. This can be seen from the system testing with the blackbox method which gets good results and all functions run well

Abstract

Decision Support System is a computer system that processes data into information to make decisions regarding specific semi-structured problems. It is specially developed to support solutions for unstructured management issues to enhance the quality of decision-making. The selection of potential thesis advisors at Hamzanwadi University's Informatics Engineering program is currently done by directly choosing an advisor while considering individual criteria or by seeking advice from peers. However, this direct selection method sometimes overlooks crucial aspects that should be prioritized. This research aims to construct a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) to assist final-semester students in the Faculty of Engineering at Hamzanwadi University in selecting their thesis advisors. The methodology employed in this Decision Support System is the Weighted Product method, which enables the calculation and comparison of multiple factors during the decision-making process. Factors analyzed in this study encompass the instructors' competency areas and the number of students they supervise. The utilization of this Decision Support System is expected to aid students in choosing an appropriate and fitting thesis advisor according to their needs. Moreover, the Decision Support System is anticipated to aid the faculty in providing information about potential thesis advisors before students finalize their choices. This research is expected to contribute to and benefit the development of information technology in the education sector

Abstract

PIP is the provision of educational cash assistance to school-aged children from underprivileged families who are marked with a smart Indonesia card (KIP). The purpose of this research is to determine the performance of the Naïve Bayes method in classifying data on students who are eligible and who are not eligible to receive a PIP scholarship at SMAN 1 Sukamulia, because this school is still experiencing problems in the decision-making process for determining potential PIP scholarship recipients, because there are no a system that can assist in processing student data that is eligible and not eligible to get the PIP scholarship. Therefore, for data processing, researchers tried to implement a new system with the Data Mining concept using the Naïve Bayes method, by carrying out 9 tests using Cross Validation starting from K-Fold Validation 2 to 10, obtaining the highest accuracy results in the 9th test. using K-Fold Validation 10 which is equal to 92.81%. Also obtained was an Area Under Curve (AUC) value of 0.973%, where AUC is a parameter used in classification analysis to determine the best model for predicting a class or attribute. AUC itself has a value range of 0-1, which means that the closer the AUC value is to 1, the better the prediction or diagnosis of the attribute

Abstract

Porang tubers are a type of food plant in which there are carbohydrates and proteins as a source of human energy. Indonesia is an agrarian country with a large agricultural area, so most of the population make a living as farmers. PT. Barokah Rizky Abadi is one of the companies engaged in agriculture, especially the sale of tubers that focuses on selling porang tubers. Stock inventory system at PT. Barokah Rizky Abadi uses manual recording of tuber stocks, namely from bookkeeping, and has not been equipped with system device information to manage the inventory of porang tubers, this is considered less effective and less accurate. From these problems, an Android-based application was made that can help in doing agency work, especially the warehousing department.  The method used is a qualitative method with a Research and Development (R&D) strategy with flowcharts, DFD, and ERD so that the management of information systems is more systematic. Abstract

Currently, the internet has become a basic need in the process of providing information and knowledge. Public, government and private services compete with each other in the use of information technology, which is expected to support employee performance and service. Therefore, human resources are needed who not only master material aspects, but also have adequate capacity and ability to apply and develop information in all fields. The use of this monitoring system is very necessary for the sidoarjo communicarions and information services departement and institutions that operate in the network sector and also have a fairly broad and complex customer coverage. Problems that often occur are slow internet connections, broken network cables, damaged network devices, etc. At that time, a network monitoring system was needed as a system that could detect when the network connection was lost. The research method used in this research is experimentation, namely a category of research that aims to find the cause and effect situation of a phenomenon. Therefore, this research is to investigate cause and effect, in accordance with previous conditions. From the results of the tests carried out, Mikrotik succeeded in sending notification messages in real time to the Telegram bot, with an average response time of 1 second in each condition. Router and Telegram will detect and send real-time message notifications to administrators if the internet connection status changes from off to active or vice versa

Abstract

The quality of oil palm fruits is very important, and effective seedling care is one of the techniques to produce quality oil palm seedlings. However, seedling care is often constrained by watering, because seedling owners cannot control oil palm seedlings at all times. The purpose of this project is to create a tool and mobile application used to control soil moisture and automatic watering based on android In this study, sensor testing and interviews were used as data collection methods. To determine soil moisture, this system uses a soil moisture sensor. Then the NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller will process the data obtained from the sensor, after which the data will be stored in real time in the Firebase realtime database. Android applications made with the Java programming language can be used for monitoring. This system can facilitate the owners of oil palm seedlings in controlling and watering the seedlings, even though they are traveling, the owner of the seedlings can control the oil palm seedlings using the Android application, so that with regular seedling care it will produce quality oil palm

Abstract

The development of the internet world is highly expected for the present because more and more private companies, agencies, and educational institutions are very highly in need to serve as information services. In this study, we will try to make an Android-based Jersey Shirt Sales System Application that is addressed at the Berugak Jersey Lombok Store. The Berugak Jersey Lombok shop only uses social media and manuals in marketing its products. So, most of the consumers/customers come from the people around them and the social media they use. Currently, a business field is certainly less competitive if it does not have online marketing media such as e-commerce applications/websites. The existence of an application/website will be able to expand the reach in marketing the products sold at this store. The method used in the design and manufacture of this software is the waterfall method. The purpose of this final project research is to produce a sales system application design that can make it easier for consumers to place orders/transactions at the Berugak Jersey Lombok store and as a means to promote products to be more communicative and informative, to expand the marketing area and increase the number of consumers.

Abstract

PT. Shiroki Indonesia Cikarang is moving on the field of automotive spare parts manufacturing such as window regulator, seat recliner, sear track as well as floor lock. The activity uses a tool/machine as a support to produce spare parts that have good quality. With so many of these machines, then the company needs to do the maintenance and also the maintenance of the machine well. Scheduling of maintenance and maintenance of machinery production equipment still uses the record on board and requires information from the operator to be submitted to the technician. Therefore, it is necessary to create a web-based maintenance schedule application that can facilitate the performance of the staff in making the maintenance schedule of the production equipment more effective and efficient as well as the availability of reports from the maitenance. The research method used is the waterfall method which has five stages namely needs analysis, design, program code making, testing and support or maintenance. The schedule maintenance application was created using the PHP programming language using the CodeIgniter framework and the MySql database.

Abstract

The sale of camera accessories is one of the important components in business. However, currently the company faces several obstacles in the sales process. In addition, there is no system that suits the needs of customers in gaining access to camera accessories sold. To overcome this problem, this study aims to design and develop a prototype interface mockup design system for selling camera accessories. This research uses a prototype system development method by identifying user needs, analyzing existing sales processes, and designing appropriate solutions. Through needs analysis, it is known that customers need convenience in searching for products, seeing product details, making purchases. Meanwhile, admins need to have access to manage inventory, process orders, and view sales reports. The purpose of this study is to design a system based on customer needs so that it is expected to increase satisfaction in using the system. In addition, it is expected that this system can be the basis for further development towards integration with wider ecommerce platforms. The results of this system design can be used as reference material to develop a sales system
