Abstract

This research aims to comprehensively explore the fundamental factors that influence cryptocurrency price volatility, and apply them to adoption, regulation and investment strategies. The fundamental factors explained include supply, demand, mining activity, transaction fees, block size, blockchain technology, and context mechanisms. This research uses a qualitative and quantitative approach with literature study and secondary data analysis. The research results show that cryptocurrency price volatility is significantly influenced by the interaction of supply and demand, mining activity as reflected in the hash rate, as well as transaction costs and block size in the blockchain network. Additionally, blockchain technology and the context mechanisms used also contribute to price volatility. High price volatility hinders the use of cryptocurrencies as a stable medium of exchange and investment instrument.

Abstract

Oligarchy, or political domination by a small number of individuals or groups, has become a concern in the context of democracy. The existence and practices of oligarchy can have significant implications for the formation of legal policy and the distribution of justice. The aim of this research is to investigate the concept of oligarchy in democracy, as well as analyze how oligarchy is practiced in Indonesian legal politics. This study used qualitative research methods. The data collection technique in this research is literature study. The data that has been collected is then analyzed in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the concept of oligarchy in democracy refers to a political system in which political power is concentrated in the hands of a small group of individuals, often having close relationships with certain politicians and supporters. Oligarchy management in Indonesian legal politics is carried out through oligarchic political practices carried out by an elite group consisting of politicians, businessmen and military figures who hold power. This oligarchic political practice does not occur without reason, because indirectly, several legal provisions in Indonesia actually extend political domination that should be democratic. This situation makes it difficult to avoid oligarchic politics in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study will look for the ultimate bearing capacity value of bored pile foundation and foundation subsidence, based on SPT data and loading test calculated empirically with SPT data using equations provided by O'Neil and Reese while loading test data using curve interpretation Davidson Method, Mazurkiewich Method, Chin Method and finite element method using 2D Plaxis software with all types of medium mesh. After analysis, the ultimate bored pile carrying capacity value of ø 80 cm based on SPT data using the O'neill and Reese equations was 1242 tons, then analysis using the Davisson method of 875 tons, using the Mazurkiewiech method of 960 tons and the Chin method of 876 tons. While the ultimate carrying capacity based on PLAXIS 2D calculations is 1364 tons. 5. Based on SPT data, the carrying capacity of a single bored pile axial permit (Qi) was obtained at 497 tons with SF = 2.5. And for the value of the decrease that occurs in the bored pile foundation based on analytical results is 22.85 mm, based on the loading test is 7.95 mm and based on the PLAXIS 2D program is 14.12 mm. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the O'Neil and Reese equations provide a greater value than the interpretation of load testing so that it will provide a large safety value if used when design and descent analysis that is closest to the results in the field is analysis with 2D PLAXIS with the Mohr-Coulomb modeling type. There are differences in carrying and lowering capacity analysis results with several methods used, but the use of analytical methods and finite element methods with PLAXIS 2D meets the safety requirements of bored pile foundations.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the modus operandi used in money laundering in the capital market trading sector. The research method used is a normative education method that looks at matters related to law, both formal and non-formal law and analyzes primary data and secondary data. The results of money laundering research in the capital market can occur by the placement, layering, and integration process through the capital market. As a result, money laundering in the capital market is growing rapidly, especially with the use of the capital market as a means of laundering money proceeds of crimes such as corruption. Securities buying and selling activities in the capital market are difficult to supervise because of their complexity and actors can practice market manipulation with the Placement, Layering, and Integration methods. Although regulations related to money laundering in the capital market are not yet firm, supervisory and law enforcement agencies have their own regulations. To minimize this crime, good cooperation between authorized institutions is needed.
