Abstract

The level of political participation of beginners is worth knowing, given that the votes of novice voters can determine in an election, especially in the election of the Mayor of Binjai. All citizens of the city have the right to participate in the excitement of the mayoral election provided that they meet the requirements as novice voters in the election. Currently, the age of students in eleven (11) and twelve (12) high schools, whose age ranges from seventeen (17) to eighteen (18) years, has entered the category of novice voters in the mayoral election in accordance with the rules in Law (UU) No.1 of 2015 concerning the Stipulation of Government Regulations in Lieu of Law No.1 of 2014 concerning the Election of Governors, Regents and Mayors, become Laws. Beginner voters become the target of election contestants, both from political parties and personal, including their supporters. Beginner voters are highly influenced and will make other friends. A high sense of participation encourages novice voters to consider a necessity in voting in the General Election or Pilkada. This is their reason because it will be the first experience in their life in the people's democratic party

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi digital dewasa ini ibarat pisau bermata dua. Bagi siswa yang dapat memanfaatkan teknologi dengan baik dapat menambah ilmu dan wawasan dengan cepat melalui media internet, tetapi ada juga siswa yang menyalahgunakan teknologi yang ada yaitu hanya untuk bermain game onlie. Di satu sisi memberi kemudahan bagi manusia dalam beraktivitas dan mencapai tujuan yang diinginkannya, tetapi di sisi lain juga membawa dampak negatif yang berpotensi merusak jika tidak disikapi denganbaik. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberi pengetahuan kepada para siswa bagaimana menggunakan alat media komunikasi dengan arif dan bijak. Media sosial (medsos) yang hari ini dengan mudah diakses masyarakat merupakan salah satu perwujudan dari kemajuan teknologi digital. Medsos juga bermanfaat sebagai medium bertukar informasi dan berinteraksi dengan orang lain yang jaraknya jauh secara lebih intensif, tetapi di sisi lain juga menampakkan sisi negatif yang mungkin tidak pernah terpikirkan sebelumnya. Sisi negatif tersebut adalah maraknya penyebaran berita bohong atau hoaks. Medsos kini menjadi sarana efektif bagi pihak yang tak bertanggung jawab untuk memproduksi dan mereproduksi hoaks dengan tujuan tertentu. Hoaks bekerja dengan mengeksploitasi sisi psikologis manusia yang dengan itu bisa menimbulkan keresahan, kecemasan, hilangnya penghormatan, bahkan berpotensi memicu pertikaian dan perpecahan di masyarakat. Diharapkan para siswa dapat memanfaatkan alat teknologi saat ini sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan kegunaannya dengan baik dan benar.

Abstract

The Indonesian state continues to pay attention to the welfare of its people, especially health, which is part of human rights. This is stated in article 28 H paragraph (1) of the 1945 Contitution which state ; Everyone has the right to live a good and healthy services. Specifically regarding legal protection for health insurance policy holders, it is regulated in the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of 2014 concerning Indurance. Health insurance claims in the form of claims from the insured aas the insurance policy holder. Teha insurance company or the insurer must make patments to the policyholder or the insured when making an insurance claim, this is a benefit of the health insurance they have. Health insurance is a financing system that provides social insurance in lieu of facing risks caused bya health users (illness), both diseases that can be cured on an outpatient care. This of course requires very high costs for a class of middle and lower economic people. Having health insurance is part of the risk management system, because when there is a disaster or illness, the policyholder does not need to think about the cost of treatment. Abstract

Dynastic politic is the biggest challangein building a valuable democracy in a government order. Which the dynastic politic can be seen from the occurrence of a power held by family and kinship group. This phenomenon can be a material for common thoughts, especially the elites and stakeholders by putting forward alternative solution that refer to the rules. In the persvective of democracy, general election and local election are one of the answer that will be able to give birth to people’s desire to get qualified candidates for leaders. The dynasty’s political strategy was used as a tool to secure power by placing family or relative in certain posts in the formal (government) or informal (projects or business) fields. If this continues, the dynastic politic will develop rapidly and the pros contras will emerge in the midst of implementing a government based on Pancasila democracy. this study aims to determine the influence of political dynasties on the development of Pancasila in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the modus operandi used in money laundering in the capital market trading sector. The research method used is a normative education method that looks at matters related to law, both formal and non-formal law and analyzes primary data and secondary data. The results of money laundering research in the capital market can occur by the placement, layering, and integration process through the capital market. As a result, money laundering in the capital market is growing rapidly, especially with the use of the capital market as a means of laundering money proceeds of crimes such as corruption. Securities buying and selling activities in the capital market are difficult to supervise because of their complexity and actors can practice market manipulation with the Placement, Layering, and Integration methods. Although regulations related to money laundering in the capital market are not yet firm, supervisory and law enforcement agencies have their own regulations. To minimize this crime, good cooperation between authorized institutions is needed.

Abstract

Community Service (PkM) activities have been carried out with the title domestic violence, socialization of law number 23 of 2004 concerning the elimination of domestic violence in Tanjung Harapan Village, Serba Jadi District, Serdang Bedagai Regency. The lack of knowledge among village residents regarding the legal consequences of domestic violence has an impact on the potential for family disharmony in the future. Therefore, families need to be provided with enlightened legal education in living family life in order to avoid violence in the family environment. The method used in PkM activities is in the form of legal education counseling/socialization which includes face-to-face lectures accompanied by question-and-answer discussions. The results obtained from this PkM activity have further enlightened and increased the understanding of the residents of Tanjung Harapan village that domestic violence can trigger prolonged marital breakdown and even divorce. The conclusion of this PkM activity material is that domestic violence is a violation of human rights and a crime against human dignity and is a form of discrimination. Violence in any form and carried out for any reason is a form of crime that cannot be justified and can be reported as a criminal act so that the perpetrator can be prosecuted

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine students' understanding after using the case study learning method and to provide guidance that the use of the case study learning method in Civics subjects can arouse student interest. The design of this research is Classroom Action Research Design (PTK). The subjects of this research are students of class VIIIA2 Al-Washliyah 16, Perbaungan District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, which consists of 33 students with 17 female students and 16 male students. The application of the case study learning method can have a positive influence in improving student learning outcomes in PPKn class VIIIA2 MTs Al-Washliyah 16 Kec. Perbaungan, Serdang Bedagai Regency. The level of student learning completeness in cycle I was 15.16% and increased in cycle II by 69.70%. So the level of completeness of student learning outcomes from cycle I and cycle II has increased by 50%, so the desired target has been achieved for the completeness of student learning outcomes, because at the end of the cycle it has reached the specified target, namely 70%. The application of the case study learning method can increase the results of the percentage of teacher teaching activities from cycle I and cycle II which has increased due to the reform efforts made by the teacher after reflecting on the results of the implementation of cycle I with the average value of the percentage of teacher activities being 43.33% and increasing by 36.67% in cycle II to 80%. The teacher's role in learning influences student learning outcomes, this is because teachers play an important role in managing the learning path from the planning process to the assessment process

Abstract

This research aims to develop Puzzle media to increase students' learning creativity in mathematics in spatial building material in Class VI of SD PAB 23 Medan. Observation results showed that 67.8% of students had low creativity and 57.1% of students felt bored in the learning process. The contributing factors are the lack of learning media and teachers who still focus on guidebooks. Therefore, researchers are interested in developing puzzle media with the Pipe Puzzle type to increase student creativity. Media development uses the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). This media is validated by media experts, material experts and teachers. The validation results show that this media is suitable for use with a percentage of 80% from media and material experts, and 94% from teachers and students. This research is expected to provide benefits for teachers, students, schools and researchers in improving the quality of education, enriching knowledge about innovative learning media, and increasing students' abilities in solving mathematical problems. Apart from that, this research can also help increase learning motivation, awareness of the importance of creativity, and develop students' critical thinking abilities. It is hoped that the research results can contribute to the development of innovative and effective mathematics learning media.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman ibu-ibu perwiridan di Masjid Nurul Huda, Lubuk Pakam, tentang pentingnya label halal dalam pemilihan produk kecantikan untuk kesehatan kulit. Kegiatan berlangsung pada 5 Mei 2025 dan diikuti oleh 70 peserta. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah interaktif dan diskusi langsung, disampaikan oleh tim mahasiswa PPKn dengan bimbingan dosen. Materi mencakup risiko produk tanpa sertifikasi BPOM, pentingnya kandungan halal, dan rekomendasi produk aman. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui diskusi dan umpan balik langsung. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran peserta terhadap keamanan dan kehalalan produk kosmetik, yang sebelumnya banyak dipengaruhi oleh tren dan harga murah. Dampaknya, peserta menjadi lebih selektif dalam memilih produk perawatan kulit yang tidak hanya aman tetapi juga sesuai syariat Islam. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi nyata dalam membentuk perilaku konsumen Muslim yang lebih sadar dan bertanggung jawab.
