Abstract

One of the methods that is often applied in Data Mining technology is the Association Rule Mining technique. The Association Rule Mining method aims to find patterns of relationships between items sold in a database and in the retail business is often referred to as Market Basket Analysis. Market Basket Analysis is an analysis method used to understand consumer behavior by identifying purchase patterns from transaction data, besides that this method can also be useful for maintaining the inventory of goods sold. The research methods used are research design methods, method research questions, data collection tools, data analysis, and data validation. The results obtained from this study are the threshold value used is support ≥ 10% and confidence ≥ 30%. The results of the analysis showed the best rule, namely: "Nuts, Honey → Prayer Rugs" with a confidence value of 59%. This means that consumers who buy Nuts and Honey have a 59% chance that they will also buy a prayer mat. This research contributes to efforts to improve the efficiency of stock management and understand consumer behavior through the analysis of purchasing patterns which is ultimately expected to increase customer satisfaction and store sales

Abstract

Perbuatan Melawan Hukum (PMH) di Indonesia,  diatur dalam Pasal 1365 KUH Perdata, yang mendefinisikan PMH sebagai perbuatan atau kealpaan yang bertentangan dengan hak orang lain, kewajiban hukum si pelaku, kesusilaan, atau pergaulan hidup. Barangsiapa yang karena salahnya menyebabkan kerugian bagi orang lain, wajib membayar ganti rugi. Dengan perkembangan yurisprudensi, makna PMH di Indonesia mengalami perluasan untuk mencakup pelanggaran terhadap norma kesusilaan dan nilai-nilai masyarakat yang tidak tercantum dalam hukum tertulis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan pengaturan hukum terkait Perbuatan Melawan Hukum (PMH) dalam kasus pencemaran nama baik di Indonesia dan Thailand, dengan fokus pada pendekatan perdata dan pidana di kedua negara. Di Thailand, perlindungan terhadap reputasi diatur dalam Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Pidana dan Hukum Perdata dan Komersial Thailand, yang mengkombinasikan unsur pidana dan perdata untuk melindungi individu dari pencemaran nama baik. Pendekatan ini memberikan perlindungan yang lebih ketat pada reputasi pribadi dalam ranah hukum. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode yuridis normatif dan pendekatan perbandingan untuk menelaah perbedaan konsep PMH dalam hukum perdata Indonesia dan Thailand. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun terdapat perbedaan pendekatan dalam pencemaran nama baik di kedua negara, keduanya sama-sama mengakui pentingnya melindungi reputasi dan kebebasan berpendapat dalam kerangka hukum. Penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi dalam kebijakan hukum Indonesia untuk mengatur pencemaran nama baik secara lebih berimbang.

Abstract

The service system for making a crowd permit at the Semendawai Sector III Police is inefficient because people have to come and queue to make the letter. This can slow down the administrative flow, resulting in less public satisfaction with the services of the Semendawai Sector III Police. Therefore, this study aims to develop an e-permit information system to overcome this problem by using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. This system can help people apply for a crowd permit online without having to come to the office and send automatic notifications to applicants when the crowd permit is ready to be picked up. The results of the system development using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method show that this system runs according to needs and accelerates the process of issuing crowd permits so as to provide more optimal and responsive services to the public.

Abstract

This research aims to present a solution that not only improves efficiency in coding medical diagnoses, but also ensures high accuracy at various levels of case complexity. The classification of medical diagnoses is a crucial aspect of health information management, particularly in coding diagnoses into the ICD-10 and ICD-9CM standards. A Progressive Web Application (PWA) has been developed to automate this process, leveraging Machine Learning technology with the Sentence Transformer model architecture "paraphrase-multilingual-mpnet-base-v2." The application development follows a prototyping method, enabling an iterative process focused on user needs and delivering an effective and efficient solution. The application incorporates key PWA features such as offline access, push notifications, and installation as a standalone application on user devices. The backend is built using Flask to handle medical diagnosis input and generate classification predictions through integration with the machine learning model. Meanwhile, the frontend utilizes React.js to provide a responsive and user-friendly interface. Testing results indicate that the application delivers highly accurate diagnosis classifications, even for complex cases. With its features and capabilities, this application has the potential to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of medical diagnosis coding processes in healthcare facilities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas konstruksi realitas yang dilakukan oleh BBC News Indonesia dalam kecelakaan kereta api PT. KAI di Cicalengka, Bandung, khususnya isu proyek jalur ganda senilai Rp1,3 triliun. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis framing model Zhongdang Pan dan Gerald M. Kosicki dengan memerhatikan struktur sintaksis, struktur skrip, struktur tematik, dan struktur retoris. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis berdasarkan metode deskriptif kualitatif dimana keseluruhan isinya mengarah pada isi analisis yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan framing Pan dan Kosicki. Objek penelitian ini adalah teks berita mengenai pemberitaan dalam kecelakaan kereta api PT. KAI di Cicalengka di media online BBC News Indonesia. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembingkaian berita yang dibentuk oleh BBC News Indonesia lebih menonjolkan kepada aspek kronologi kejadian serta aspek regulasi pemerintah. Media ini juga memiliki struktur tematik yang koherensi antar paragraf, serta ragam bahasa sehari-hari. Media BBC News Indonesia menonjolkan keakuratan berita yang disajikan dengan berbagai narasumber seperti kronologi kejadian dan menonjolkan aspek regulasi pemerintah terhadap pembangunan jalur ganda agar segera dilaksanakan untuk mengurangi potensi kecelakaan.

Abstract

This research seeks to develop the UI/UX of the Mobile Learning Management System (LMS) application by utilizing the Design Thinking methodology to improve the effectiveness of student learning in higher education. Design Thinking is used because of its user-centric methodology, guaranteeing that LMS apps align with the preferences and behaviors of students who are increasingly relying on mobile devices in their daily routines. Application development goes through the stages of Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test, with validation carried out using the System Usability Scale (SUS) approach. The assessment involved five students from various academic fields who are proficient in desktop-based Learning Management Systems (LMS). The test results showed a SUS score of 78, categorized as "Good" and close to "Very Good". This score signifies the program's excellent usability, easy navigation, and functions that encourage learning flexibility, including content access, assignment submission, and discussion forums. This study shows that the mobile Learning Management System created using the Design Thinking methodology significantly increases student access to lecture materials and encourages the efficacy of learning in higher education. Suggestions for improvements include conducting assessments with a wider group of participants and implementing design iterations to refine features based on user feedback.

Abstract

This comparative study explores the similarities and differences between two widely-used programming languages: C++ and C#. While both languages are integral to modern software development, they cater to different development environments and paradigms. C++, a general-purpose programming language, is known for its performance efficiency and low-level memory management, making it ideal for system software, embedded systems, and performance-critical applications. In contrast, C#, a high-level language developed by Microsoft, is primarily used in the .NET ecosystem for building Windows applications, web services, and enterprise solutions. This study examines various aspects of both languages, including syntax, memory management, performance, ease of use, and application domains. By analyzing these parameters, the paper aims to provide a comprehensive comparison that highlights the strengths and weaknesses of C++ and C# in different programming contexts. Additionally, the study discusses the role of both languages in modern development environments and their suitability for various types of projects. The findings suggest that while C++ remains the preferred choice for performance-sensitive applications, C# offers a more user-friendly environment for rapid application development, particularly in enterprise and web-based applications.

Abstract

The integration of quality management systems (QMS) into the use of foreign language applications has become increasingly relevant in enhancing student learning experiences. This study explores the effectiveness of foreign language learning applications, such as Duolingo and Babbel, when paired with QMS frameworks to monitor, evaluate, and improve learning outcomes. By adopting a systematic approach, the research examines how QMS principles—such as continuous improvement, performance measurement, and user feedback—can optimize the usability and pedagogical impact of these applications for students in diverse educational settings. Findings indicate that applying QMS to language applications fosters better alignment with educational objectives, improves user satisfaction, and enhances learning engagement. Key elements include regular tracking of learning progress, adaptive content customization, and structured feedback mechanisms. This approach also empowers educators to make data-driven decisions to support students' language acquisition effectively. The study concludes that incorporating QMS into the use of foreign language applications represents a viable strategy for advancing the quality of language education, promoting efficiency, and ensuring continuous improvement in student learning outcomes. Future research should explore the scalability of this approach across various disciplines and demographic groups to further validate its applicability.

Abstract

The maintenance of solar power plants plays a vital role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of electricity generation for household use. As renewable energy adoption increases, solar power systems offer an eco-friendly and cost-effective solution to meet residential energy demands. The findings highlight the importance of regular maintenance schedules, the use of advanced diagnostic tools, and community-based initiatives to support household users. This research aims to provide actionable insights to improve the sustainability and cost-efficiency of solar power systems in residential settings. This study employs a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods to investigate the maintenance of solar power plants for household electricity use. The results show that the accumulation of dirt on photovoltaic panels, battery degradation, and inverter malfunctions are the main challenges that reduce system efficiency. The proposed solution includes regular cleaning, optimal battery management, and the adoption of automated monitoring technology. This research also highlights the importance of user education and community involvement in supporting solar power plant maintenance. In conclusion, effective maintenance is key to maximizing the benefits of household solar PV, reducing operational costs, and supporting the global transition to sustainable energy. The implications of this research include the development of technology- and community-based maintenance guidelines to improve system efficiency and extend the life of devices

Abstract

The integration of informatics in education has been pivotal in improving the quality of learning by providing personalized, flexible, and efficient learning experiences. This research aims to explore the impact of informatics tools, such as digital platforms, adaptive learning technologies, and data analytics, on teaching and learning outcomes. Utilizing a mixed-method approach, the study involved a needs assessment, tool development, pilot testing, and continuous evaluation. Data was collected through surveys, interviews, and performance metrics to analyze the effectiveness of informatics in educational settings. The findings reveal that informatics facilitates personalized learning paths, enabling students to progress at their own pace, which enhances engagement and retention. Adaptive technologies provide real-time feedback and tailored content, addressing individual learning needs effectively. Moreover, data-driven insights empower educators to make informed decisions and intervene proactively to support students. The implementation of these tools has also streamlined administrative tasks, allowing educators to focus more on instructional quality. This study concludes that informatics significantly improves learning outcomes, operational efficiency, and inclusivity in education. However, challenges such as ensuring equitable access to technology, providing adequate training for educators, and addressing data privacy concerns must be tackled to optimize the benefits. The implications of this research emphasize the need for continued investment in technological infrastructure and professional development to sustain advancements in educational quality
