Abstract

The Effect of Early Breastfeeding Initiation on the Production of Mother's Milk in Post Partum Mothers at the Siti Fatimah Makassar Special Regional Hospital for Children in 2019 guided by Djuhadiah Saadong and Maria Sonda. The effect of early breastfeeding initiation on breast milk production is the initiation of early breastfeeding carried out in the first hour. This will build up sucking sucking reflexes that stimulate the nerve endings around the breast to the front pituitary gland located at the base of the brain to produce the prolactin hormone. Prolactin will stimulate the breast to produce milk and can increase milk production. The study was conducted in May 2019 at the Siti Fatimah Makassar Special Regional Hospital for Children and Children. This type of research is quantitative with a Cross Sectional Study approach. The population in this study were all 291 people in postpartum mothers who were in the Special Hospital of Siti Fatimah Makassar and Children in Makassar. The samples were 72 people and were willing to be respondents with Purposive Sampling sampling techniques. The results showed that from 72 respondents who carried out early breastfeeding initiation as many as 50 respondents (69.4%) and those without as many as 22 respondents (30.6%), who experienced sufficient ASI production as many as 49 respondents (68.1%) and those who less than 23 respondents (31.9%). By testing using the Chi-Square technique obtained ρ =0.00 <of α = 0.05, this means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus there is an influence between early breastfeeding initiation and breast milk production in post partum mothers It is expected that midwives in implementing each care based on midwifery care so that they can identify problems and take action quickly and precisely, especially initiating early breastfeeding in facilitating breastfeeding

Abstract

Terjadinya Bom di Gereja Kathedral Makassar membuat kapabilitas Pemkot Makassar dalam mencegah radikalisme dan terorisme dipertanyakan. Selain Pemerintah Kota, tripika yang memiliki andil dalam pencegahan terorisme di kota Makassar adalah Kodim 1408/BS dan Polres Kota Makassar. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut, peneliti bermaksud mengkaji bentuk sinergi yang dijalin oleh Pemkot Makassar dengan Kodim 1408/ BS selaku satuan yang juga bertanggung jawab akan stabilitas wilayah Kota Makassar dari ancaman radikalisme. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk pencegahan yang dilakukan oleh Pemkot Makassar dikategorikan ke dalam kontra-radikalisasi. Kekurangannya adalah tidak adanya unsur Bela Negara yang dimasukkan dalam upaya yang dilakukan, selain itu kurang melibatkan beberapa pihak yang memiliki pengaruh besar dalam penecegahan paham radikalisme. Kesimpulan pencegahan paham radikalisme oleh pemerintah kota Makassar masih kurang optimal. Hal tersebut diketahui dari adanya upaya yang belum optimal dilakukan pada aspek kontra narasi, kontra propaganda dan kontra ideologi. Sinergisitas yang dilakukan oleh Pemerintah Kota Makassar dengan Kodim 1408/BS melalui model komunikasi dan koordinasi saling membangun dengan tujuan memperkuat sinergi yang ada. Namun, berdasarkan upaya yang ada dalam pencegahan paham radikalisme dapat dioptimalkan ketika ada aturan hukum yang mengikat di antara kegiatan yang dilakukan secara bersama-sama oleh kedua belah pihak.

Abstract

Textbooks are one of the learning resources that must be owned by an educator as a guidebook and students as a source for learning. Reasoning-based teaching materials are one way out as a solution to the problems that have been found so far. By analyzing this reasoning-based teaching material, it is expected to be able to improve students' mathematical reasoning abilities. The main purpose of this study is to analyze the type of reasoning about flat-plane geometry in elementary mathematics textbooks. This research is a descriptive research. The method in this study uses the Lithner framework. This research was conducted by grouping the questions in the book which are included in the type of flat-plane geometry questions, analyzing the questions based on the type of reasoning, describing the types of reasoning in mathematics textbooks and providing arguments and conclusions. The results of this study in the first book of Mathematics for SD/MI class IV Mediatama Publisher, some of the questions use the Imitative Reasoning type of reasoning where there are 53.33% of the questions are Imitative Reasoning type of reasoning and 46.66% of the questions are Creative Reasoning type of reasoning. The questions contained in the book are in accordance with the content standards and have been studied by students in previous lessons. Thus, the teacher must also often give questions with the type of Creative Reasoning reasoning so that students are accustomed to being faced with difficult questions when facing exams

Abstract

This study aims to prove that using the show and tell method is more effective than traditional methods for teaching vocabulary to second-year students at SMP Al Washliyah 24 Medan during the 2022/2023 academic year. The study employed a quantitative methodology and it was classified as experimental research with a control group. The population for this research consists of four classes, with a total sample size of 70 students. The utilization of cluster random sampling and observation of two classes were the choosen methods for this study by the researchers. The researcher selected VIII-1 and VIII-2 as the experimental and controlled classes, each consisting of 35 students. Based on the analysis of the mean score gap in the post-test between the experimental and controlled classes, it can be concluded that the technique used was effective. The mean score of the experimental class was significantly higher at 9.02 compared to the controlled class which had a mean score of 5.63. This indicates that the experimental class had a better understanding of the subject matter, and the technique used in the experiment was successful in improving their performance. It can be concluded that The Show & Tell (S&T) Method is effective in improving student’s vocabulary mastery
