Abstract

This research produce LKPD STEM-PjBL (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics-Project Based Learning) integrated on Thermochemical learning, then reveal its validity and practicality categories. This type of research is Research and Development, with 4-D model consisting of: (1) define, (2) design, (3) develop, and (4) disseminate. LKPD was validated by 3 Chemistry lecturers of FMIPA UNP and 2 Chemistry teachers, then practicalited by 2 Chemistry teachers and 25 students of Class XII MIA 2 SMA UNP Laboratory Development. The validity and practicality tests were using Cohen kappa analysed, yielding 0.816 for the validity test and 0.837 and 0.855 for the teacher and student practicality test with very high categories. The data shows that the LKPD produced is valid and practical.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a product in the form of a module  on basic chemical laws and stoichiometry and to find out how the categories of module validity levels produced. This is Research and Development study that aims to produce a particular product. This research uses the Plomp model which consist of three stages, preliminary research, prototyping stage and asasment phase.The Instrument to be test validity in the form a validation sheet . This product is validated by 5 validators consisting of 3 lecturers of chemistry majors at FMIPA UNP and 2 teachers from SMAN 10 Padang. The result of the validation obtained the moment kappa value (k) of 0,81 so that from the value it can be said that the module produced is very valid.

Abstract

This research development aims were to create and determine validity and practicality categories of buffer solution module based on guided inquiry equipped with HOTS type problems. This research was a Research and Development with Plomp development model. Instrument used was module validity and practicality questionnaire. Module was validated by 5 validators. Practicality was determined by providing a questionnaire to 2  chemistry teachers and 51 students of class XII MIPA SMAN 8 Padang. The data obtained were analysed with the Kappa Cohen formula. The result of the research obtained average kappa moment value validity (0,90), average kappa moment value practicality of teacher response (0,93) and the practicality of student response (0,84). This result showed that the module which has been developed was very valid and practical to used in learning

Abstract

The 2013 curriculum is implemented in senior high school, emphasizing the scientific approach. Learning model that is able to make students active and can develop science process skills is guided inquiry. Guided inquiry consists of several syntax that can guides students in learning process, consisting of orientation, exploration, concept formation, application, and closing. Students are guided by key questions related to redox reaction material of class XII SMA or MA which is applied in instructional media in the form of interactive powerpoints. The type of this research was reseach and development with 4-D models. Powerpoint interactive validity testing is carried out by 3 chemistry lecturers at FMIPA UNP and 2 chemistry  teachers at SMAN 14 Padang, the powerpoint interactive have an average kappa moments 0.91 which is very high level of validity. While the module practicality test is by 3 chemistry teachers and 25 XII grade IPA at SMAN 14 Padang, the average kappa moment from the results of  practicality test of the module by the teachers is 0.93 and by the student is 0.90 with very high category. From the research can be concluded that interactive powerpoint is valid and practical.

Abstract

This study aimed to reveal the effectivity of the use an instructional media of ludo game based on Chemo Edutainment for Atomic Structure toward 10th students achievement. The type of this research was Quasi-Experimental Research with Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The samples was chosen by purposive-sampling which result the experimental class and the control class. Then it can be concluded that the use of ludo game based on Chemo-Edutainment for Atomic Structure effective to increase 10th students achievement from SMA N 3 Padang

Abstract

The Implementation of the curriculum is carried out by practicing process skills that are reflected in learning activities. The process skills applied in the form of 5M activities are known as the scientific approach. This research aims to produce of modul of basic chemical laws based on a scientific approach by applying probing prompting techniques. The research instrument used was a questionnaire of validity and practicality. The module was validated by 5 validators while the practicality test was carried out by 2 chemistry teachers and 20 XI grade students of MIA 3 SMAN 1 Basa Ampek Balai Tapan, Pesisir Selatan. Data from the validity and practicality test results were analyzed using the cohen kappa formula. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the average kappa moment of validity test was 0,89 with a very high validity category and the average kappa moment of teacher practicality was 0,90 and the average kappa moment of students practicality was 0,91 with a very high practicality category. Thus, it was concluded that basic chemical laws module based on a scientific approach by applying probing prompting techniques was valid and practical for high school students.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the category of  validity and practicality of module based on guided inquiry on redox reaction with high order thinking skill’s question (HOTS) for 10th grade students. This research uses a research design of the Plomp model development which consist of 3 phases: preliminary research, prototyping phase, assessment phase. The data were analysed using kappa moment. This module is validated by 5 validators that consisting of 3 chemistry lecture and 2 chemistry teacher who are experienced and experts in their fields. The result of this research showed that the module had a high category of validity with a kappa moment of 0,77. The module has a high category of practicality based on the teacher’s questionnaire responses which has a kappa moment of 0.80 and the module practicality category based on student questionnaires is equal to 0.70.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a guided-inquiry based module on Chemical Bonding, also to categorize validity of the module. It is a Research and Development which is used Plomp model which consists of three stages, preliminary research, prototyping stage and assessment phase. The instrument used for this research is questionnaire for validation. Was validated by 5 people, 3 lecturers of Chemistry Department FMIPA UNP and 2 chemistry teachers of SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang. The analysis result of validity sheet showed the average Kappa moment (k) was 0.86. The module that has been  produced is very valid to be used.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce a discovery learning based e-module on buffer solution topic for Class XI Senior High School (SMA/MA). The type of research used is Research and Development using 4-D models with 4 stages, namely: (1) define, (2) design, (3) develop and (4) disseminate. This e-module was validated by 2 Chemistry lecturer from FMIPA UNP and 3 Chemistry teachers at Pertiwi 1 Padang High School, while the practicality test was carried out by 2 chemistry teachers and 26 students of class XII MIA SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang. The validity and practicality data were analysed using the kappa cohen formula, the validity was 0.92 very high and the practicality of teachers and students was 0.94 and 0.83 very high. The data proves that the Buffer Solution e-module can be said to be valid and practical
