This research is aimed at developing a atomic structure module based on guided discovery learning for grade X SMA and determining the level of validity and practicality. The type of research used is Research and Development. The development model used is Plomp model which consists of 3 stages, namely: 1) preliminary research, 2) prototyping stage, and 3) assessment phase. The validity test of this module was done by two chemistry lecturers at FMIPA UNP, two chemistry teachers at SMAN 3 Pariaman, and a chemistry teachers at SMAN 4 Pariaman using validation instrument. Practicality test was done by 2 chemistry teachers at SMAN 3 Pariaman and 34 students X MIPA 1 of SMAN 3 Pariaman using practicality questionnaires. Validity instrument and practicality questionnaires were analysed by Cohen Kappa (k) Formula. The results of the analysis of the validity with an average score of the kappa moment 0.86 which is very high category of validity. The results of teachers practice analysis, and the practicality of students show the average score of the moment of kappa (k) in a row is 0.90 which is a very high practicality category and 0.84 which is also a very high practicality category. The data obtained shows that the atomic structure module based on guided discovery learning for grade X SMA produced is valid and practical.

The purpose of this study is to get an overview of the Science Process Skills of students in learning using the Guided Inquiry-based Colloidal System module. The type of research used is library research with descriptive analysis. The data used in this study are secondary data, i.e. scientific journals which are in the form of articles. The data collection method is in the form of a documentation method with data analysis techniques, namely content analysis. Based on the results of a journal review that has been done, it is obtained that the use of the Guided Inquiry-Based Colloidal System module in learning especially in practical activities can bring up the Science Process Skills of students well. Each Science Process Skill indicator appears with different percentages in either category.

Chemical literacy is a basic ability to obtain the basic concepts of chemistry macroscopically, microscopically and symbolically as well as the process for understanding and describing phenomena scientifically. This study aims to create an instrument to measure the assessment of chemical literacy in high schools on thermochemical material. The design of this study uses the Model of Educational Reconstruction (MER). The stages of this research include: content structure analysis (curriculum analysis, material content analysis, and context analysis); empirical inquiry (approval by subject matter expert for the instrument designed). Content validity data acquisition is calculated using the Aiken’s V. formula. This formula is used for the assessment of the scale of politics (scale 1 to scale 5) in determining the content validity of an item. The results of the validation of the content of chemical literacy questions are 0.85 with a “valid” decision.

Chemistry Ludo is one of the game based learning media as a variety of students exercises to stabilize their concepts in Molecular Geometry material. The purpose of this study is to produce Chemistry Ludo as a learning medium for Molecular Geometry material and to determine its validity and practicality level based on media functions and characteristics of practical media. The type of this research is Research and Development using 4-D (Four D) models, namely (1) define, (2) design, (3) develop, and (4) disseminate. This learning medium was validated by two lecturers majoring in Chemistry at FMIPA UNP and two Chemistry teachers at SMAN 2 Pariaman. Determining the level of practicality was obtained from two Chemistry teachers and 34 students of XI IPA 2 class at SMAN 2 Pariaman. The instruments used in this research were the validation and practicality questionnaires. The technique of data collection was questionnaires. In analyzing the data, the researcher used Cohen Kappa moment formula. The results of analysis showed that Chemistry Ludo as a learning media in the Molecular Geometry material has a validity level of 0.82 with a Very High category and the practical values of teachers and students are 0.96 and 0.86 with a very high category. This data showed that the development of Chemistry Ludo can be used as a learning medium in Molecular Geometry material.

The purpose of the research to develop learning media for chemical card games (C-Card) on colloidal system materials for grade XI SMA / MA and determine the level of validity and practicality of the developed media. This research uses a 4-D model which consists of 4 stages, namely definition, design, development and dissemination. The resulting media was validated by two chemistry lecturers at the faculty of mathematics and natural sciences UNP and also by the two chemistry teachers at SMAN 1 Batang Anai. Through a validation questionnaire, the validation value of kappa moment obtained was 0.85 with a very high category and value of the practicality of teachers and students was 0,88 with very high categories an 0.80 with high categories. It can be concluded that the chemical card game media is valid and practical.

This research aims to produce a guided discovery based module on redox reaction, also to determine its validity and practicality. This research used Research and Development type, which is a research that will develop and produce a certain product. This research used Plomp model which consists of three stages, preliminary research, prototyping stage, and assessment phase. The instrument used for this research is questionnaire, which consists of validity and practicality sheet. The product validated by two lecturers from Chemistry Department FMIPA UNP and two chemistry teachers from SMAN 12 Padang. The practicality test has been done by 2 chemistry teachers and 25 students of SMAN 12 Padang. The analysis result of validity sheet, teacher practicality and student practicality showed the average Kappa moment (k) respectively, 0.82, 0.87, and 0.81. The data obtained show that the module reduction and oxidation reactions based on guided discovery learning are valid and practical.

The content standard has several components, including the level of competence, core competency (KI), basic competency (KD) and the scope of the material. The content standard always changes according to the needs of curriculum to be applied. The purpose of this research is to analyze the formula of KI-3 based on Bloom taxonomic revision. This is one of the basic frameworks in curriculum preparation which starts from the cognitive and knowledge dimensions. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques is using library research. The data source used Permendikbud No. 37 of 2018. The formula KI-3 was analyzed based on knowledge activities, types of knowledge and scientific attitudes. The results of KI-3 formulation at 1st grade of senior high school obtained 36 components of KI-3.

Education 4.0 emphasizes 4C skills, critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaboration. Realized with STEM-PjBL integrated learning, one of them was in the Petroleum material grade XI of SMA or MA. This study aims to produce STEM-PjBL integrated LKPD in Petroleum material and determine its validity. This type of research is R and D with a 4-D model composed of define, design, develop, and disseminate (not implemented). Research is limited to the validity test with the instrument validity as a measurement tool. Data collection techniques through questionnaires and analysis of research data from five expert validators using the Cohen kappa formula. Based on the analysis concluded, LKPD has had very high validity.

Module of chemical formula and reaction equation with three levels representation based structured inquiry had been determined validity and practility. The research type was research and development (R and D). The development model was 4-D model the consist of 4 stages, namely: define, design, develop and disseminate. This research was limited to the stage of development, namely the validity and practicality tests. The research instruments were used observation questionnaire, validity and practicality. The modul was validated by 5 validators. Practicality test was carried out by 2 chemistry teachers and 24 XI grade students of IPA 2 SMAN Basa Ampek Balai. Data of the validity and practicality test were analyzed using the cohen kappa formula. The average kappa moment of validity test was 0,93 with a very high validity category. The average kappa moment of teacher and student practicality were 0,88 and 0,91 respectively with category very high practicality category. Thus, module of chemical formula and reaction equation with three levels representation based structured inquiry was valid and practice.

This study aims to determine the relationship between the assessment of students’ learning processes that use the Guided Inquiry Learning and Guided Discovery Learning learning models for formative outcomes. This research uses a quantitative approach with correlation analysis between two research variables. Data on the assessment of student learning processes is obtained from the evaluation given during the learning process, which is at the conclusion stage of each meeting. Student formative learning outcomes data were obtained from diagnostic test questions in the form of reasoned multiple-choice questions and descriptions at the end of chemical equilibrium learning. The results showed the relationship between the assessment of learning processes with student learning outcomes classified as High with a correlation coefficient of 0.81 for class XI Science 1 with Guided Discovery learning model and 0.86 for class XI Science 4 with Guided Inquiry learning learning model.
