Abstract

In the preparation of Arabic teaching materials for schools need to be adjusted to the socio-cultural and psychological aspects so as to minimize the difficulties of students in understanding the Arabic language lessons presented. Characteristics of good Arabic teaching materials include balanced material between the four competencies and grammar and are adapted to the local conditions of the students. In addition, the relevance of teaching materials is largely influenced by the perception of Arabic teachers on student needs and success in learning. This study aims to discover how the socio-cultural and psychological aspects of preparing Arabic language teaching materials. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The results of this study indicate that there is a need for harmony between socio-cultural and psychological aspects with the condition of students to increase success in learning.

Abstract

Eclectic method is when a teacher combines a number of methods and selects the appropriate methods based on the learning condition. According to the experts of eclectic method, there is no appropriate learning method for all learning purposes, students, teacher and all foreign language learning aspects. No method is perfect. Each method has advantages and disadvantages. The problem of the research is how the application of eclectic method in achieving the purposes set by the government in Arabic learning in terms of grammar, classical book-reading learning, and oral learning (speaking) at MAN 1 Jember religion program in 2019. The purpose of this research is describing the application of eclectic method in achieving the purposes set by the government in Arabic learning in terms of grammar, classical book-reading learning, and oral learning (speaking) at MAN 1 Jember religion program in 2019. The research used in the research is descriptive qualitative method. It analyzes the application of eclectic method in achieving the target set by the government in Arabic learning at MAN 1 Jember religion program in 2019. The data collection method used by the researcher is purposive sampling. The result of the research is a learning method used for learning Arabic grammar which combines speech, memorizing, drill, audio-lingual, nahwu-tarjamah, inductive, and peer-learning methods. Classical book-reading learning includes speech, memorizing, drill, audio-lingual, nahwu-tarjamah, answer-and-question, peer-learning, and sorogan methods, while oral learning (speaking) includes speech, direct, audio-lingual, memorizing, and role-play methods.

Abstract

This topic, based on the claim, that reaching the goals of obtaining the flag in particular the Arabic language from the breadth of language. It is also known that the spread of Arabic in the expression (tandem and common verbal and antibodies) and the Arabization of the intruder there are the opinions of scientists in the phenomenon of occurrence in the language, some of them said the occurrence in the language, some of whom denied the occurrence. Based on this, the objectives of this research are: To learn about the breadth of Arabic in the expression (tandem and joint verbal and antibodies) and Arabization of the intruder, and to know the views of scientists in the phenomenon of Asa in this expression.

Abstract

This study aims to clarify the role of the Arabic language in advancing science and Islamic civilization through a library study of the history of the Arabic language a long the ages. The approach used to analyze the data of Arabic language development is historical approach combined with content analysis approach. The study has come to the conclusion that there are five important roles of Arabic language. Firstly, it served as the language of the union among the people and the Arab tribes. Secondly, Arabic preserved the richness of local Arabic cultures through all times. Thirdly, Arabic used as a media for educational and scientific study, possitioning it as the language of science and technology. Fourthly, Arabic is as a tool of communication among the people and tribes and generations. Fifthly, Arabic is accepted as a standardized language for Islamic knowledge and modern sciences.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality management and effectiveness of learning the yellow book at Al Bidayah Jember Islamic Boarding School, because with good management it will produce good learning as well. This research uses descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The subjects of the study were the clerics, administrators and several students. The results of this study indicate that management in the learning of the yellow book is very important, which includes the rules of the Islamic boarding school, teaching methods, teaching strategies, and many others that researchers cannot mention one by one.
