Abstract

One of the problems employing learning media is the incompetence in operation and application procedures. An apparent lack of using the audio video as a learning media causes by the teachers themselves. The purpose of the study is to arrange a model of self-directed learning (SDL) with audio-visual media to measure students’ result in terms of independence and proficiency that are valid, reliable and effective. Research and Development (R&D) method was employed to conduct the research with Four-D model of Thiagarajan. The eligibility of SDL model was tested with CVR in the aspect of validity, meanwhile the reliability was measured with Kappa statistics. The effectiveness of SDL was tested with t-test of dependent variable in terms of students’ independence and proficiency in operating the audio/video devices as learning media. The result showed that the validation of audio/video media, according to the three evaluators, was categorized into valid, the reliability was marked substantial, and the effectiveness of improvement related to students’ result in terms of independence and proficiency using SDL showed t-posttest 5,342, significantly, was effective to be employed. The conclusion of this study was that the SDL model with audio video media to acquire basic competence in analyzing video, animation and/or digital music production were reliable, eligible and effective, therefore could be applied.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to implement the competency certification test for vocational students of light vehicle engineering program by LSP-P3 in Banyumas, which covers aspects of context, input, process, product and thoroughly. This research was conducted in four vocational schools in Banyumas. The population was 16 assessors. All member of the population was used as the sample of this research. The instrument used a questionnaire. The validity test with the content validity of the CVR (content validity ratio), the validity of items with a limited test and product moment analysis was performed. Cronbach alpa was used as the reliability test of this research. The data analysis techniques used a descriptive analysis. The description of the data used a level category approach. The results showed that the implementation of competency certification test for vocational students of light vehicle engineering program by LSP-P3 in Banyumas evaluated from the aspects of: (1) context included in the excellent category with a quality achievement score of 41.63 or (86.7%) ; (2) input included in the excellent category with a quality achievement score of 55.18 or (86.23%); (3) process included in the excellent category with a quality achievement score of 37.50 or (85.23%); (4) product included in the excellent category with a quality achievement score of 27.44 or (85.74%); and (5) as a whole included in the excellent category with a value of achievement quality results of 161.75 or (86.04%). The implementation of competency certification test for vocational students of light vehicle engineering by the LSP-P3 in Banyumas needs to be improved optimally although it has been going very well. This implies that the implementation of the competency certification test must consider the competency of the assessor. The implementation of competency certification test should use equipment that is in line with current technological developments. The competency certification test should be carried out in stages to complete the whole scheme so that graduates get a level 2 SKKNI competency certificate.

Abstract

The lack of knowledge and attitude of the students toward interprofessional education make the students have a hard time to communicate effectively because they come from different health program, need an approach and knowing the habit of the other students that they will communicate to and work with in increasing the health service. The aims of this study are (1) analyzing the effect of the application of interprofessional education simulation using role play towards the knowledge improvement about the interprofessional education for the nursing undergraduate students in Unissula, (2) analyzing the effect of the application of interprofessional education simulation using role play towards the attitude about interprofessional education for the nursing undergraduate students in Unissula. Quasi-experimental methods was used in this study. This quasi-experimental research design is pre-test and post-test without control group. The instruments used in this research were questionnaire. The type of the questionnaire was the closed questionnaire which was a questionnaire with provided answer. The data analysis used in this research was paired sample t-test analysis by doing analysis towards the pre-test and post-test. The result of validity test by using product moment correlation in the application of interprofessional education using role model method towards the knowledge about interprofessional education for nursing undergraduate students in Unissula was that from 28 items of question in the instrument, there were 3 invalid questions which were the question number 12, 14, and 21. The reliability result by using Alpha Cronbach in the application of interprofessional education using role model method towards the knowledge about interprofessional education for nursing undergraduate students in Unissula was 0.877 from 25 items of question. The validity test result by using product moment correlation in the application of interprofessional education using role model method towards the attitude about interprofessional education for nursing undergraduate students in Unissula was that from 12 items of question, all questions were valid with reliability point of 0.960. The research result show that the usage of interprofessional education using role play method towards the nursing students may improve the student’s knowledge in the effort of increasing the health service that centered on the patient because there are (1) an improvement in the pre-test and post-test result as many as 16.55 for pre-test and 25.82 for post-test; (2) data distribution (standard deviation) in pre-test is 5.370 with the error standard of 0.767; and (3) data distribution in the post-test is 0.486 with error standard of 0.069. Besides, the application of interprofessional education using role play method may affect towards attitude because the average student’s attitude shows the result of satisfying attitude category with 33 students (67.3%) and quite satisfying category with 16 students (32.7%).

The purpose of this research study is (1)developing learning media based on Adobe Flash CS6 in the Vocational Theory of Clothing Decoration Making, (2)analyzing the feasibility and practicality of instructional media, (3)analyzing the effectiveness of the use of instructional media. The research development of learning media based on Adobe Flash CS 6 uses the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluations). The data collection tool for the feasibility of instructional media uses expert validation questionnaires namely material experts and media experts. Data on the practicality of the media used an assessment questionnaire by teachers and students. Data on the effectiveness of the media used question instruments. The validity test of the questionnaire instrument used Aiken's V formula, and the question instrument was validated with the product moment correlation formula. The reliability test of the questionnaire instrument used Cohen's Kappa, while the reliability test of the question instrument used the Split-Half technique. The results of eligibility by material experts were known as 91% in the very feasible category and media experts at 81% in the very feasible category. The effectiveness of Adobe Flash CS6 based media using the t test showed that .the significance value was 0,000> 0.05. So it can be concluded that there were significant differences. The N-gain test result was 77.9% which is included in the effective category. Based on the results of the analysis of these data, learning media can be used by fashion students at SMK Negeri 1 Sayung as an effective learning media for Vocational Theory Subjects of Clothing Decoration Making.
