Abstract

The formulation of  the problem in this study was whether there is a relations self-esteem and moral reasoning in learning mathematics in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 8 Baubau? The pearson of this study was to determine the relationship between sefl-esteem and moral reasoning in learning Mathematics in class VIII  students of SMP Negeri 8 Baubau. The type of research is a quantitative study with using the Ex-post Facto method, where the population of this research was all students of class VIII of SMP Negri 8 Baubau wiht a total of 80 students speard over 3 classes. In this study, samples were used was aquestionnaire in learning mathematics. The research data were analyzed by using correlation techniques. From the result of the analysis of correlation techniques, the assessment of self-esteem (X) on moral reasoning inlearning Mathematics (Y) produced a significanse value of 0,000 < 0,05, so it can be concluded that there is a relationsipbetween self-esteem(independent variable) amd moral reasoning in learning Mathematics (dependent variable). The also shows that the two variables have a positive relationship. Thus, the hypothetical decidion that can be taken is that there is arelationship between sef-esteem and moral reasoning ib learning mhatenatics in class VIII Negeri 8 Baubau.

Abstract

Objective of this research was to know the effect of guided discovery method on students’ Mathematics learning achievement at grade VII of SMP Negeri 18 Buton. This research was quantitative research with experimental method and using guided discovery method. Population in this research was all students at grade VII of SMP Negeri 18 Buton. Sample of this research was taken with using purposive sampling technique that was class VII4 as an experimental class and VII3 as a control class. Data collection technique in this research was using test. Outcomes of this research obtained: 1) the average of students’ Mathematics learning outcomes on the initial test in both the control class and the experimental class were respectively 51.07 and 47.36. while the average of students’ Mathematics learning outcomes on the final test of the control class and the experimental class was 69.14 and 67.29. 2) based on the result of hypothesis test with t test obtained the value of tcount = 0.676 and the value of ttable = 1.70562. When compared tcount with ttable so tcount < ttable sig (2-tailed) 0.0505 > 0.05, so that H0 was accepted and H1 was rejected. So, it could be concluded that there was no effect significantly on Mathematics learning outcomes wth student who got learning with guided discovery method and student who got conventional learning. So, it could be said that there was no effect between learning with guided discovery method or it could be said that the application of the guided discovery method was not effective in learning in terms of students’ Mathematics learning achievement at grade VII of SMP Negeri 18 Buton.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study was whether the Brainstorming learning method is effective on the mathematical problem solving abilities of class VII students of SMP Negeri 7 Baubau. The purpose of this study was to find out whether the Brainstorming learning method was effective on the math problem solving abilities of class VII students of SMP Negeri 7 Baubau. This type of research is Quasy Experiment. The population in this study were all students of class VII SMP Negeri 7 Baubau in 3 classes with a total of 85 students. The sample in this study consisted of 2 classes, namely class VII A which consisted of 27 students as the control class. Data collection techniques in this study used test. Data analysis techniques used in this study were descriptive analysis and inferential analysis in the form of t-test. Based on the research results obtained: the average problem solving ability of experimental class students was 77.96; the average problem-solving ability of control class students is 68.70; based on the results of hypothesis testing using the t test, the value of tcount is 2.448. For ttable values at significance level of 0.05 (5%) and df = 52, namely 2.006. Based on this value tcount > ttable then H1 is accepted. So, the data concluded that Brainstorming learning method was effective on the math problem solving abilities of class VII students of SMP Negeri 7 Baubau.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to see the effectiveness of digital-based learning in terms of the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Baubau. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quast-experimental type of research. The population in this study were all class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Baubau which were spread over 11 classes. The sample used is a saturated sample, because the existing population has homogeneus learning outcomes, then the sample is taken in two classes, namely class VIII.2 and class VIII.3. Data collection technique in this study use tests. The result of the research is that the significance value is 0.028, the N-Gain value is obtained from the difference in the average value of mathematics learning outcomes for experimental class students of 66.93 and control class of 57.10. Then the effectiveness criteria are based on the gain score, the percentage of the experimental class is 66.93% which is included in the quite effective category because it is between 56% to 75%, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted based on the hypothesis acceptance criteria, this means that the application of digital-based learning is quite effective in terms of the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Baubau on the subject of statistics.

Abstract

This study aims to predict the number of poor people in Southeast Sulawesi using the Lee’s Fuzzy Time Series with Average Based Length. The data used in this research is annual periodic data from 2004-2022 downloaded from the bps.go.id website. The results of the study show that the poverty rate in Southeast Sulawesi in 2023 will reach 301,801 people. The model is successful in reading data movements, with the number of error values > 0 indicating the direction of prediction error which tends to be underestimated. However, the resulting accuracy is very good, indicated by the MAPE value of 1.71%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of mathematics learning communication during the learning process through the application of Active Knowledge Sharing strategies in class X students of SMK Negeri 1 Batauga and to determine the improvement of mathematics learning outcomes during the learning process through the application of Active Knowledge Sharing strategies in class X students of SMK Negeri 1 Batauga. This type of research is class action research. The implementation of this class action research consisted of two cycles. The subjects in this study were teachers and researchers, and the object of this research was class X students of SMK Negeri 1 Batauga totaling 15 people. The procedure of this class action research: 1) planning, 2) action implementation, 3) observation, 4) evaluation, and 5) reflection. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, tests, and documentation. The results of the research obtained through observation, evaluation, and reflection. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that there is an increase in mathematics learning communication after learning with active learning strategies of the Active Knowledge Sharing type in class X students of SMK Negeri 1 Batauga and there is an increase in mathematics learning outcomes after learning with active learning strategies of the Active Knowledge Sharing type in class X students of SMK Negeri 1 Batauga.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this research is how are high school student’ mathematical abilities in solving story problem on system of two variables linear inequalities? This research aims two analyze the mathematical abilities of high scool students in solving story problems on two-variable system of linear inequalities. This research uses descriptive research methods with a qualitative approach. The subjects in this research were 25 students of sman 1 pasarwajo science class v. Data collection in thi research was carried out using research instruments in the form of tests and interviews with students, to measure high school students’ mathematical abilities in story test through yhe material on the system of linear inequalities in two variables. Based on the research results, the following conclusions were obtained: (1) for problem solving abilities, it is known that in hihg ability subjects there are 16% of students, 24% in medium ability subjects, and 60% in low ability subjects. (2) For reasoning ability, it is known that in high ability subjects there are 4% of students, in medium ability subjcts there are 8%, and in low ability there are 88% of students. (3) For mathematical communication skills, it is known that in the high ability subject there are 4% of students, in the medium subject there are 24%, and in the low ability subject there are 72% of students. (4) For mathematical connection abilities in high ability subjects there are 16% of students, 20% of students in medium ability subjects, and 64% of students in low ability subjects. (5) For representational ability in high ability subjects there are 4% of students, in medium ability subjects there are 6% of students, and in low ability subjects there are 80% of students.

Abstract

Objective of this research is to find out the influence of learning motivation toward students learning proficiency of mathematics at grade VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Sampolawa. This research was an ex post facto research. Population in this research was all grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sampolawa whose number was 140 students. Sample of this research was 57 students whom was selected through simple random sampling technique. Instrument of the research were questionnaire and documentation. Based on the research outcome, it is concluded that there is a positive and significant influence of learning motivation toward students learning proficiency of mathematics at grade VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Sampolawa. This can be seen by the result of analysis that value of was 19,781 > was 4,02. Besides, the determination coefficient was 0,265 or 25,50% of mathematics proficiency was explained by variable of learning motivation, while the rest was influenced by other factors that were not observed in this research

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this research is what errors are experienced by class variable. The aim of this research is to determine the errors of class XI students at SMAN 1 Wolowa in solving contextual problems related to two-variable linear programs and the factors that cause errors of class. This research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The population of this research was class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Wolowa with a total of 144 students and XI IPA 1 as research subjects. The instruments of this research are diagnostic tests and interview guidelines. The data collection techniques of this research are diagnostic tests and interviews. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The conclusions in this research is that 20 reading errors were caused by the inability to interpret keywords from the information contained in the problem, 33 comprehension errors were caused by a lack of accuracy in writing down what was known incompletely and incorrectly, 66 transformation errors were caused by the inability to transform the information, 83 errors on process skill are caused by errors in the steps used to solve the problem, errors in writing formulas, and errors in carrying out calculations, and 83 errors in writing the final answer are caused by students not being able to write the final results correctly with conclusions.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this research was whether there was an influence of using the RL2DIKTI application in improving the ability of mathematics education study program student in analyzing data from thesis research result. The aim of the research was to find out that there is an influence of using the RL2DIKTI application in improving the ability of mathematics education study program student in analyzing data from thesis research result The research was quantitative research using pre experimental research desain. The population in this study were all student of the 6th semester mathematics education study program, totaling 36 people consisting of two classes. Because the population was less than 100%, the sample in this study was the same as the population. The data collection technique in this research used research instrument in the fronm of test, with data analysis technique using the mean difference test. Based on the research result, it was known that the ability of mathematics education study program student to analyze research data, in this case the average value the obtained befpre and after being treated based on the result of calculation using the mean defference the using the RL2DIKTI  application, abtained a sig value. Amounting to 0.002<0.05, so H1 accepted. So it could be concluded that the RL2DIKTI application could improve the ability of education study program student in analyzing data from thesis research result.
