Abstract

In mathematics learning, the determination of the approach greatly determines student learning outcomes, because mathematics subjects are assessed for students as quite difficult subjects, this assessment appears due to the discomfort experienced by students during the learning process in class. The method used in this research is an experimental method with two-way ANOVA test analysis. This study aims to determine differences in learning outcomes through the PMR and PMR approaches based on the Math App game in terms of student learning styles. The research was conducted at SD IT Tadzkia Langsa with a total sample of 34 students. The data collection technique uses the distribution of learning style questionnaires and by conducting tests (pre-test and post-test). This study found that there were differences in learning income between PMR and PMR based on the Math App game based on a significant value of 0.045 <0.05. Then there were also differences in learning styles based on the results of the SPSS calculation with a significant value of 0.049 <0.05. Whereas in the interaction section between the learning style approach and learning style, it was found that there was an interaction between the learning style approach and the learning style with a significant value of 0.018 <0.05.

Abstract

Local culture-based gymnastics is a combination of Seudati dance with Saman dances movements as well as cheerful healthy exercises that are already in kindergarten. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of the implementation of local culture-based exercise on the motorized perceptual ability of early childhood in Banda Aceh Kindergarten. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of experimental research. Population and a sample of 30 students were selected by purposive sampling. Data collection techniques of motoric perceptual ability using tests: (1) Standing on the beam while touching the limbs as instructed by the teacher with eyes open, (2 ) Standing on the beam while touching the body as instructed by the teacher with eyes closed, (3) Jumping and landing in a line with two feet pressed together as instructed by the teacher with eyes open, (4) Jumping and landing in a line with two feet pressed together as instructed by the teacher with eyes closed , (5) Walking in balance, (6) Throwing a tennis ball into a basket with a distance of 2 meters. Before the data is analyzed, the research data is tested for the analysis requirements, namely the normality and homogeneity test. Then the data is analyzed using the t-test. Based on the results of data analysis obtained t count (18.455)> t table (2.045), thus it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between local culture-based exercise on the motoric perceptual ability of early childhood in Aceh kindergarten.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and describe: (1) the effect of the application of learning strategies on the learning outcomes of Islamic Fikih, (2) the influence of learning motivation on the learning outcomes of Islamic Fikih, and (3) the interaction between strategies learning and learning motivation towards the learning outcomes of Islamic Fikih. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method. The study population was all students of class VI MIN 2 Labuhanbatu consisting of 3 classes. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling, in which one group of classes was conducted using collaborative learning and the other class was conducted competitive learning. Data collection techniques used are lift and learning outcomes tests. The data analysis technique used is two-way analysis of variance.  The research findings show: (1) there is an influence of learning strategies on fiqh learning outcomes. In this case the average learning outcomes of Islamic Fikih taught with collaborative learning strategies are higher than the average learning outcomes of Islamic Fikih taught with competitive learning strategies, (2) there is an influence of learning motivation on learning outcomes of Fikih. In this case, the average learning outcomes of Islamic Fikih with higher learning motivation is higher than the average learning outcomes of Fikih with low learning motivation, and (3) there is an interaction effect between learning strategies with learning motivation, where students with high learning motivation are more precisely taught using collaborative learning strategies, while students with low learning motivation are more precisely taught with competitive learning strategies.

Abstract

The problem in this study was the low emotional social ability of children. The study aimed to determine the influence of Numbered Heads Together Learning model towards the social-emotional ability of children aged 5-6 years at the Assisi Kindergarten Medan Academic Year 2017/2018. This research is the experimental research of Posttest-Only Control Group Design. The population of this research was the entire group B in the Assisi Kindergarten of Medan which was 110 children. Sampling techniques were carried out with random sampling, i.e. selecting samples randomly with a raffle. The first take is to select the experiment class and the control class with the draw 2 of the 5 classes. The first step was taking a random class, which was an experimental class and the second step was taking a random class for the control class. For the experimental class, 25 children were taught by using Numbered Heads Together learning model and in the control class with 25 children was taught by learning demonstration model. Based on the results of the study and the discussion, it’s found that the children of the experiment class has the lowest value 6, the highest value 12 and the average value of 10.4 higher than that of the control class with the lowest value 4 and the highest value 11 with the average of 7.84. This showed that the children's emotional social ability in the experimental class is better than the child of the control class. From the calculation result obtained value T_count = 4.76; this value is compared to the Ttable with value (DK = 〖 (n 〗 _ 1 + n_2) – 2 = 48 and α = 0.05). The value of T table with α = 0.05 is obtained 1.694. So it can be deduced T_count ˃ T_table or 4.76 ˃ 1.694. Thus the H_0 hypothesis was rejected and H_a  was accepted, so it could be stated "There is a significant influence learning model Numbered Heads Together to the emotional social ability of children aged 5-6 years in Assisi Kindergarten Medan.

Abstract

This article argues that novelists Muhidin M Dahlan and Chapchay Syaifullah tried to make moral and religious rebellions in their work as a result of existing social conditions. They rebel against normative and established values, old order and social arrangements. They are creative in the context of literature as a fictional world built with the spirit of renewal and enlightenment. And here, imagination is a significant creative process for deconstruction and enlightenment as well as upheaval in religiosity, religious rebelion, religious dissent. In this context, Muhidin and Syaifullah novels do not place religious life as a problem solver. Borrowing Goenawan Mohamad's definition that works that can be categorized as "religious literature" are works that "place religious life as a solution to problems", it appears that Muhidin and Syaifullah's novels cannot be called "religious literature" in the conventional sense. In this case, as a religiosity rebellion - where religiosity is defined as a philosophy of life or awareness of 'His breath' in everyday life, that is an awareness that is entirely personal and because it is personal, everyone has the right to sue, question, reject or deconstruct his own religious teachings.

Abstract

Techniques are needed to train students in "writing to learn"., whose main goal is to "learn to write". This work aims to exemplify how writing can be a teaching learning technique in an example in Chemistry to develop a correct understanding of the preparation of molar solutions in the laboratory. It is essential that this is carried out in the classroom in a way that develops the reflective, analytical and cognitive skills of students. All this within an environment with safety measures at work.

Abstract

The researcher in this paper elaborates the writings of Naguib Mahfouz from an existential perspective in Cairo Trilogy. Mahfouz concludes that western scholars and politicians conceal the realities of daily life in Egypt, which Mahfouz reveals. In Mahfouz’s Cairo Trilogy, one can find an openness and acceptance in Egyptian society for other faiths and cultures. The researcher will illustrate how there is an important acceptance of internal existential and religious struggles amongst individuals in the society during this novel. The researcher focuses on the character and the inner psychological conflicts in these characters. It seems that this is an important aspect of Egyptian identity. The idea that Egyptians or Muslims are struggling mainly with the West is contradictory to Mahfouz’s characterizations. He asserts that Egyptians have their own internal struggles because of the diversity of their ideologies.
