Abstract

This research aims to review the literature relating to the issues for single-mother households to become independent based. Relevant articles were identified by searching the CiNii Resarch databases of articles published between 2000and 2022 examining support for the independence of single-mother households. We organized the viewpoints of "economy," "employment and childcare balance," "social support," "support system," and "independence required of single-mother households," which are the background of single-mother households. Predicted that mothers in single-mother households, who are in a state of economic poverty, will face multiple problems, such as unemployment, child-rearing, and "making ends meet" to survive on a low income. And mothers may have to reduce the time spent on recharging their personal resources (leisure and sleep) and use that for work and child-rearing. Therefore, their health will suffer. Since 2002, the government has four measures are being promoted: child-raising and livelihood support, employment support, securing child support expenses, and economic support. However, if comprehensive support for employment and self-reliance is to support self-help efforts without relying on others, it is a severe support measure for mothers of single-mother households who are already continuing self-help efforts. The current situation of single mothers has revealed that the issues faced by single-mother households are "economic poverty," "lack of self-investment by mothers," "lack of social support," "reluctance to receive social support," "inconsistency in support systems," and "self-help efforts required by society." It was suggested that there are the above problems.

Abstract

This study focuses on the reasons for the dissolution of higher education foundations and their legal consequences. The research method used is Normative Juridical with a statutory approach, theories/concepts, cases related to the dissolution of higher education foundations. Then the data used is secondary data in the form of legal materials. The results of the study show that the reasons for dissolving or dissolving a foundation are 1)The period specified in the Articles of Association ends; 2) The goals of the Foundation set out in the Articles of Association have been achieved or not achieved; 3) Court decisions that have permanent legal force are based on the following reasons: The foundation violated public order and decency, was unable to pay its debts after being declared bankrupt, or the foundation's assets were insufficient to pay off its debts after the bankruptcy declaration was revoked(Article 62 UUY No.16 of 2001).However, according to Rudhi Prasetya, the Foundation can also be dissolved based on the decision of the Foundation Trustees Meeting which fulfills a 2/3 quorum and is approved by at least 2/3 of the votes present, this is not regulated in the Law or the Foundation's Articles of Association. The dissolution of the foundation must be followed by liquidation involving the builders, administrators, curators, prosecutors, creditors, and others who have an interest in the dissolving foundation.Foundations that are disbanded have legal consequences, namely that they cannot take legal action anymore, except for the Trustees and Management of the Foundation, they are obliged to follow the liquidation process until it is finished. The remaining assets resulting from the liquidation were handed over to other foundations that had the same activities as the disbanded foundation (Article 68 paragraph (1) UUY 2004). The dissolution of the foundation also has an impact on tertiary institutions as their activities/businesses, to be transferred to foundations of the same type or of the same nature and activities/business, in this case private higher education foundations (PTS).

Abstract

In Japan, labor shortages have become a serious problem owing to the low birth rate and aging population. Despite the growing expectations of foreign workers, migrant workers’ rights are not fully guaranteed. And in recent years, issues related to pregnancy and childbirth has become a major focus of attention. In this paper, the female migrant workers refer to the technical intern trainees, specified skilled workers and technical school students who stay in Japan for the purpose of making money. In order to analyze the social support required by pregnant migrant workers during their stay in Japan, 11 foreign workers and students who became pregnant during their stay in Japan were interviewed. We analyzed the difficulties they experienced and the support they sought from the perspectives of language barriers and culture and system. The analysis revealed that the difficulties experienced by female migrant workers are complex and intertwined, with multiple difficulties occurring simultaneously. And gender issues in Japanese society and the sending system in their home countries had a strong influence. Some of the support they sought required institutional reform, while others could be provided by people close to them. This is an exploratory research study. I plan to study the various aspects of this issue in-depth in the future.

The inspector's role has to play in curriculum implementation in classroom activities in community schools. The classroom activities, of course, experiments are not in cases of learning achievement. The effectiveness of proper curriculum implementation has explained the role of resource people. This kind of practice is done at school, in which participation by students, teachers and the whole school environment is used from textbooks to achieve goals of education. The government of Nepal has been doing different types of work at different times to improve the educational quality of community schools. The expected results from that work have not been achieved. Finding ways to improve educational problems is ongoing. Keeping this in mind, the state seemed confident that the successful implementation of the curriculum was also an option. In order to implement it, it was done to identify the course work area and make the resource person responsible for it. In order to fully implement the curriculum at the school level, teachers can not only teach books to students, but also do extra activities, organize examinations and evaluations according to time, choose learning areas and objectives according to order, and facilitate the environment for refresher training for teachers. Apart from this, it was seen from the study that he has a role as a supporting element to move forward as a whole, working as a bridge between teachers, parents and students.

Abstract

The use of media is goal-oriented and motivational according to the needs of MSMEs in choosing media, including marketing products, establishing communication with consumers, and accessing information. This type of research is quantitative while the sampling technique uses Lemeshow with a purposive sampling method. The results of this study indicate that the use of social media affects performance and also the perception of business value from the use of social media. Meanwhile, perceived business value also has a positive and significant impact on business performance. Furthermore, perceived business value is also able to significantly mediate the influence of social media use on business performance. These results confirm that good use of social media can increase and strengthen the business value felt by MSME actors in Banyumas, which will also have an impact on improving business performance. The originality of this research uses perceived business value variables which are rarely studied in the MSME context. In general, perceived business value is usually implemented in companies, while MSME businesses also need to understand that with good use of social media, the perceived business value will also increase and will have an impact on marketing performance. This study is expected to make a significant contribution to MSME owners in understanding the extent to which social media use plays a role in MSME performance through Perceived Business Value. The greater the benefits felt by MSMEs related to the use of social media, the higher their performance.

Abstract

The study sought to examine the influence of dividend payout on financial performance of small-sized banks in Kenya. The banks have been facing a tremendous decline in financial performance despite their immense role in the country’s economy. With limited empirical literature on their dividend payout policies, and how such policies affect or influence their performance, the study sought to fill the existing empirical and contextual gaps. Through the residual equity theory, the study had an empirical backing that supported the choice of dividend policy and the level of income as key aspects to address dividend payout. Descriptive research design was used in collecting and analysing the data. The target population was the 48 small-sized banks in Kenya usually known as micro-finance institutions. A sample of 192 managers from these institutions was surveyed. A questionnaire was used to collect the data, which was analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The findings revealed that the set dividend policies, the annual income and the divided paid annually had a significant role to play in enhancing the financial performance of the small-sized banks in Kenya. It was concluded that the banks were unable to pay dividends in some financial years, thus affecting the ability of the shareholders to continue supporting the institutions. It was recommended that there is need for the management of these institutions to uphold dividend payout just like other financial management practices for them to attract more shareholders and encourage the existing shareholders to offer equity to the institutions for better performance.
