Abstract

The increasing use of digital documents in export-import activities, especially in government agencies such as the Directorate General of Customs and Excise, has the potential to pose a threat of leaks if not supported by an adequate security system. The design of this security system aims to design and develop a web-based digital export-import document security system by implementing the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) 256-bit encryption algorithm. The system development was carried out using the Waterfall method by utilizing PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL database technology. This system implements encryption and decryption mechanisms on export-import documents in PDF and DOCX formats. Test results indicate that encrypted documents cannot be accessed without a valid decryption process, and data integrity is maintained referring to the AES-256 validation results. This system is able to increase the level of digital document security and minimize the risk of data leaks in a web-based system environment. This research requires the addition of a multi-layer authentication mechanism, the implementation of a more comprehensive encryption key management system, and the development of applications for mobile platforms. The rapid development of information technology has changed the way individuals, organizations, and government institutions manage and distribute information. One of the main impacts is the increasing use of digital import-export documents as the primary medium for storing and exchanging critical data. These documents generally contain sensitive information, requiring security mechanisms capable of ensuring data confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity during storage and distribution.

Abstract

Today's society tends to want things to be fast and efficient, for example, when ordering food or drinks at a cafe. In business, customer satisfaction and quality service are crucial. Therefore, a solution or idea emerged that could simplify ordering through the use and assistance of QR code technology. Menu ordering at Bravura Cafe is still done manually. It can be seen from the recording of transactions that still use sheets of paper, as well as ineffective ordering activities. This causes employees to be quite overwhelmed when the cafe is busy, this can also hamper the performance and quality of service at Bravura cafe. QR code is a system that uses a two-dimensional image code which also comes from the evolution of Barcode. The use of QR codes is very common in many countries. This is because of its ability to store more data than a barcode so that it is able to encode information in various languages. In this study, the research method used is the waterfall method. The design method uses unified modeling (UML). The analysis carried out includes analysis of the current system and analysis of the proposed system. The results of this study are a web-based menu ordering information system using a QR Code with the waterfall method. The author hopes that this system will be useful in facilitating the work of employees and improving service quality.

Abstract

Mathematical word problems in Indonesian are generally presented as multi-sentence paragraphs, making the identification of arithmetic operations not solely dependent on recognizing numerical values, but also requiring an understanding of events and semantic relationships across sentences. This study formulates the task of arithmetic operation identification as a classification problem of a single primary operation into four classes: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. To capture contextual relationships across sentences, an encoder-based Transformer architecture is employed, which is capable of modeling long-range dependencies through a self-attention mechanism. The dataset consists of 900 elementary school-level mathematical word problems constructed in accordance with the Indonesian curriculum. Experimental results show that the model achieves an accuracy of 0.98 and an F1-score of 0.98. Per-class evaluation indicates high and consistent performance, although prediction errors are still observed in cases with ambiguous narrative patterns, particularly where addition is misclassified as multiplication or subtraction, and multiplication is misclassified as division. These findings demonstrate that the Transformer architecture is effective in leveraging multi-sentence context to improve the accuracy of arithmetic operation identification in mathematical word problems.

Abstract

Rapid technological advancements have changed the way people enjoy entertainment. Viewers can now watch movies online without having to go to the cinema. The rapid development of online movie streaming services has increased the need for systems capable of providing content recommendations based on user preferences. This study aims to optimize a User-Based Collaborative Filtering (UBCF)-based recommendation system using the MovieLens 100K dataset containing 100,000 ratings from 943 users for 1,682 movies. The evaluation was conducted by dividing the data into 80% training data and 20% testing data. The system was optimized through two main approaches: user average normalization (mean-centering) in the KNN method to reduce bias in rating scale differences between users, and the application of overlap weighting on cosine similarity to give greater weight to user pairs with a greater number of shared item ratings. Based on experiments, a value of k = 50 was chosen as the optimal trade-off point in predicting ratings. The experimental results show that KNN with mean centering (KNNWithMeans) consistently outperforms standard KNN. The cosine + KNNWithMeans model produced an RMSE of 0.9701 and an MAE of 0.7567, lower than cosine + KNN (RMSE 1.0377; MAE 0.8226). Further overlap weighting was shown to improve prediction accuracy, with the combination of weighted cosine with α = 1 and KNNWithMeans providing the best performance with an RMSE of 0.9686 and an MAE of 0.7556.

Abstract

The advent of digital technology over the past decade has transformed the way higher education institutions deliver services to their academic communities. Digital transformation has positioned academic websites as the primary communication channel between students and higher education institutions, yet interface evaluation continues to rely on perception-based methods that fail to capture actual user behavior. This study analyzes interaction patterns of users on a simulative academic information website, identifies interface elements that create friction, and proposes evidence-based design improvements. A quantitative descriptive approach was adopted using Microsoft Clarity as the data collection instrument, which automatically recorded click heatmap, scroll heatmap, movement heatmap, and session replay data. Thirty interaction sessions from 21 unique users were gathered through purposive sampling of active students at Bhinneka PGRI University Tulungagung. The findings reveal that click intensity was concentrated on the homepage and the "Kampus" menu, while average scroll depth reached only 57.11%, session duration averaged 1.1 minutes, and the quick-back rate stood at 36.67%. Additionally, a dead-click rate of 6.67% was observed, reflecting user confusion toward visually interactive but non-responsive elements. Taken together, these results demonstrate that the Microsoft Clarity heatmap method is capable of surfacing usability problems that conventional perception-based evaluation approaches consistently overlook.

Abstract

Public services at the village level are the spearhead of government services closest to the community. However, most villages in Indonesia still rely on manual systems for administrative management, including the process of submitting certificates, recording citizen data, and delivering information. Administrative services in Wonorejo Village, Sumbergempol District, are still carried out manually, causing various obstacles, such as inefficiency, long queues, service delays, and limited access to information for residents. This study aims to design and build a website-based village service system integrated with a chatbot to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of administrative services. The system was developed using the Extreme Programming (XP) method through two development iterations, utilizing the PHP-based Laravel framework, MySQL as the database, and Dialogflow as the Natural Language Processing (NLP) platform for the chatbot. The system's main features include online letter submission, application status monitoring, village information management, and an interactive chatbot. Functional testing was conducted using the black box testing method, while user acceptance was measured through a User Acceptance Test (UAT) using an ISO 25010-based instrument involving 12 respondents. The UAT results showed a satisfaction percentage of 95%, included in the very good category. The developed system has proven capable of supporting the digital transformation of public services at the village level.

Abstract

The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based systems has increased demand for integrated data architectures that support operational, analytical, and semantic data management. Organizations currently utilize relational databases, Data Warehouses, and Knowledge Graphs to support data integration in modern AI environments. However, previous studies generally discuss these approaches separately and rarely provide an integrated perspective regarding their roles within AI-ready architectures. This article conducts a comparative literature review of Relational Databases, Data Warehouses, and Knowledge Graphs as data integration approaches for AI-based systems. The study applies a conceptual literature review approach by analyzing scientific publications related to data integration, data warehouses, the semantic web, and knowledge graphs. The findings indicate that Relational Databases mainly support operational layers, Data Warehouses support analytical layers, while Knowledge Graphs provide semantic representation and contextual reasoning capabilities for modern AI systems. This article proposes a three-layer data integration perspective consisting of operational, analytical, and semantic layers as a conceptual framework for AI-ready data architectures.
