Abstract

Islamic boarding schools is one of the oldest educational institutions, it can even be said that Islamic boarding schools are one of the forerunners of education in Indonesia. Its existence is also very familiar in the midst of Indonesian society, not only among Muslims but in general almost all people are familiar with Islamic boarding schools. The role of Islamic boarding schools is very important in human development in the nation and state, especially in terms of maintaining the unity and integrity of this beloved republic of Indonesia. In the implementation of education, Islamic boarding schools prioritize education with good and noble character, both humans and their God, humans and others, even having character with their nation and state. In islamic boarding schools, the students will be prepared and trained in their attitude and character as soon as possible as a perfect Muslim. They will become tough individuals, so that in the future the students can be accepted and even very likely to be examples of figures in the midst of society for their attitudes and character.

Abstract

For students, communicating using English is a common thing. However, it is often difficult for them to develop it, especially when they come from non-English study programs. This makes them feel difficult and then lazy to learn. The problem that then arises is what learning techniques they apply to be willing and proficient in English, and how they apply these learning techniques. This study aims to: (i) examine the learning techniques used by STAI Ma'arif Magetan students in learning languages. English (ii) Exploring how these learning techniques are applied in communicating in English by STAI Ma'arif Magetan students. This research is a qualitativeresearch in the form of a case study. The results of this study indicate that (i) the students of STAI Ma'arif Magetan apply three techniques to improve their communication skills in English, namely effective production technique, comprehension reaction technique, and reinforcing comprehension technique. (ii) Every technique used by students to become proficient in communicating English, is applied in certain ways, namely translating, getting help, using gestures, using synonyms, using notes, translating, using sources, using notes, and translating using personal estimates. Abstract

The “Merdeka Belajar” program, if linked to the Merdeka Learning Program initiated by the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, is a free choice that can be given to students to suit their interest and character. Some teachers apply coservative teaching methods. They provide step by step instructions so that both students and studentas are like being bribed with a spoon. In fact, everyone has a different way of learning. The pandemic has been able to paralyze various sectors. One of those affected is the education sector. The arrival of the corona has caused the world of education to be closed at home. Work form home (WFH) is the best solution so that educational activities can continue.

Abstract

In developing the self-potential of students, educators are expected to have methods or methods, educators must be creative in choosing methods that are appropriate to the learning material. Based on the observations of researchers in the field, it shows that there are problems faced by students of class VI C MIN 15 Magetan in studying the History of Islamic Culture. They are less motivated, even bored during the learning process. Starting from these problems the researchers tried to use a new learning method in conveying the material of Islamic Cultural History, namely the Mind Mapping learning method. To obtain complete data, this study uses a qualitative approach to retrieve, analyze, and process data and information created to answer problems. The results show that the application of the mind mapping method can increase student learning motivation, increase student activity and increase student creativity

Abstract

Indonesia is entering the era of new normal order due to the corona pandemic, and along with the rapid development of communication and information technology. The development due to the Corona Pandemic the Government of Indonesia implements the era of new normal program order has an impact on all fields, not least in the field of education. Education as the main field that prepares superior human resources so that they are able to adjust to the times, and able to compete with other countries. The corona pandemic that hit Indonesia, is not a barrier to continue the process of education that remains quality in Indonesia. The Government launched the New Normal program as a form of new life order proclaimed by the Government of Indonesia in order to continue the life of the nation and state during the transition from social restrictions or social distancing policies, due to the coronavirus pandemic that has plagued Indonesia since some time ago. In this order is intended to regulate the activities of the new Indonesian people by realizing the world of education, especially students of madrasah ibtidaiyah who live a healthy lifestyle to minimize the transmission of the corona virus during daily activities, as well as in carrying out education in Indonesia.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic still has an impact on various fields of people's lives, especially in the field of education. Several educational institutions, such as Early Childhood Education and Kindergarten schools, are still implementing online learning in carrying out teaching and learning activities as an effort to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The online learning system is new and is still in the habituation stage for some people, while early childhood requires sufficient stimulation through direct or face-to-face learning to maximize the stimulation process. However, educators and parents are faced with a period: even though the learning system is implemented online, the target for learning outcomes must also be achieved, one of which is the achievement of the psychomotor development target of early childhood. This study aims to determine the percentage of the effectiveness of online learning on the psychomotor development of early childhood. The research location is in RA Roudhotul Ulum which is located in Baluk Village, Karangrejo District, Magetan Regency. The research was carried out on March 5, 2020 – April 30, 2020. The research approach used was descriptive quantitative with data collection techniques utilizing online questionnaires from Google Forms which were distributed to educators and parents, with a total of 45 respondents. The results of this study are that online learning is considered less effective in achieving psychomotor development in early childhood which is influenced by various factors. Almost all respondents want to immediately implement offline or face-to-face learning, so that the achievement of children's development targets can be realized to the fullest.

Abstract

A gadget is a tool that is easy to find, also known as a gadget and it used in this modern era, commonly used devices such as cellphones (HP), laptops, notebooks and many others, gawais are commonly used by adults, including children. Device addiction is very dangerous for the growth of early childhood so that the role of the family is needed as a prevention of gadget addiction. Interesting to discuss and become the main thing to be more vigilant in giving objects, especially the use of gadgets that are not adjusted to the portion. The approach used is a qualitative descriptive approach. Qualitative data analysis was obtained from observations, interviews, field notes, and documentation studies, by organizing synthesizing data, arranging into patterns, choosing which ones were important and which ones to study, and drawing conclusions.

Abstract

A leader is essentially someone who has the ability to influence others in their work by using power. Meanwhile, the principal consists of two words, namely the principal and the school. The word head can be interpreted as the chairman or leader in an organization or an institution and a school is an institution where it is a place to receive and give lessons. Motivation is a factor that encourages a person to perform a certain deed or activity. While work is a number of physical and mental activities to do something work. In order for the implementation of work motivation to be implemented properly, it is necessary to have the leadership of the principal who has the ability to nurture its members to support the teaching and learning process in schools. This study was conducted to examine the Influence of Principal Leadership on the Work Motivation of Teachers of SDN Magetan 1 with the aim of knowing how the Influence of Principal Leadership at SDN Magetan 1, how the Motivation of Teachers' Work at SDN Magetan 1. This type of research uses quantitative research. And the data collection is carried out by the method of questionnaires, observations, and documentation. Then the data is analyzed using statistical formulas, namely: percentage formula and product moment formula and added with regression formula.

Abstract

Understanding philosophy can be reviewed etymologically and terminology. The word philosophy comes from the Greek which is a compound word Philosophia or Philosophos. The word consists of two words namely philos (philein) and Sophia. The word Philos means love (love), while Sophia or sophos means knowledge, truth, wisdom or wisdom (wisdom). So etymologically philosophy means love of knowledge, truth or wisdom. There are 3 (three) foundations in philosophy, namely the ontology basis, the epistemological basis and the axiological basis. Meanwhile, according to Suprapto Wirodiningrat in Surajiyo (2012: 13), there are 3 (three) characteristics of philosophy, namely; Thorough, basic and speculative.

Abstract

The curriculum as a design in education has a strategic position, because all educational activities lead to the curriculum. Once the importance of the curriculum as a center for educational activities, in its preparation it requires a strong foundation and foundation, through in-depth thinking and research. Islamic Religious Education Curriculum is Islamic religious education materials in the form of activities, knowledge and experiences that are intentionally and systematically given to students in order to achieve the goals of Islamic Religious Education. Islamic religious education curriculum is a tool to achieve the goals of Islamic education. The scope of Islamic Religious Education material is the Qur'an, and hadith, faith, morality, Fiqh / worship, and history. The curriculum has a very essential place in the progress of educational institutions, it must be recognized that the success of curriculum implementation is strongly influenced by the ability of the teacher who will implement and actualize the curriculum, the teacher's ability is mainly related to the knowledge and abilities and tasks assigned to him.
