Abstract

Higher Order Thinking Skills or HOTS is one of the abilities demanded in the 21st century that is very important to be applied in student learning in class. In this literature review discussed the the effectiveness of HOTS learning, the difficulties of students and teachers in HOTS learning and how HOTS learning in Mathematics. The results show that HOTS learning can improve student achievement and motivation but on the other hand there are still many teachers who do not fully understand HOTS learning itself. Teachers must have good learning design skills to get meaningful learning activity so the students getting used to HOTS. Getting used to HOTS on students cannot be done suddenly so HOTS learning can be started simply to a more complex level.

Abstract

Effectiveness and efficiency are very important for an expedition company in optimizing the delivery of goods by a courier. The Traveling salesman problem (TSP) method using the Nearest Neighbor Algorithm can optimize the delivery of goods to all consumer location points with only one visit in one trip. The purpose of this study is to find the shortest route using the TSP method based on the travel distance data from drop point PT. J&T Express Sarijadi Bandung to all consumer points and back to this drop point. This data is processed using Matlab and Excel Solver software based on the Nearest Neighbor Algorithm. The results of this study show that the TSP method produces the shortest route, which is 1,944 meters. The delivery route generated by this method provides travel distance efficiency of 50.09% from the route without the TSP method, which is 3,960 meters. Thus, it is expected that there will also be optimization of time and transportation costs in this delivery.

Abstract

The topic of earthquake prediction is an interesting one to research. As one of the natural disasters, earthquakes are included in natural disasters that can cause considerable damage. The damage caused not only affects the economy but also the life of an area. Several studies on earthquake prediction have been conducted so far, one of which is Machine Learning and using the Random forest method. The purpose of the research is to determine the analysis of earthquake magnitude prediction results in the Padang City area using machine learning techniques. The variables used in this study are time, latitude, longitude, and magnitude. Earthquake data is obtained from the United States Geological Survey (USGS) website. This research produces an RMSE value of 0.31758 and an MSE value of 0.10085

Abstract

The emergence of various types and brands in the laptop industry poses problems for consumers in determining the best type of laptop. To assist consumers in determining the best type of laptop, a Decision Support System is needed. This research is an applied research. The data used is primary data obtained from the distribution of questionnaires through Google Form to students of the Department of Mathematics UNP batch of 2020, 2021, 2022. The variables used are Brand, Operating System, Processor, Solid State Drive, Random Access Memory, Battery, Screen Size, Laptop Weight, Color, Price. The methods used in this study are the Cut Off Point Method and the Simple Additive Weighting method. Based on the results of the problem analysis in determining the best laptop type using the Cut Off Point and Fuzzy Simple Additive Weighting methods, it shows that the Asus zenBook Pro laptop type is recommended as the best type of laptop with a preference value of 0.87

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) learning model on the mathematical reasoning and problem solving abilities of Mts Ja-Alhaq students in Bengkulu City. This research uses the Quasi Experiment method. Data collection was carried out through tests. Data analysis used the Ancova test. The sample for this research was MTs Ja-alHaq students in Bengkulu City. The results of the research show that: (1) There is a linear influence of covariates on students' mathematical problem reasoning abilities in learning the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) with an influence of 50,7%. (2) There is a linear influence of covariates on students' mathematical problem solving in Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) learning with a large influence of 14.6%. (3) There is an influence of Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) learning on students' mathematical problem reasoning abilities with an influence of 78 %. (4) There is an influence of Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) learning on students' mathematical problem solving abilities with an influence of 55,5%. (5) Students' achievement of mathematical problem reasoning abilities in Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) learning is better than those taught through conventional learning. (6) Students' mathematical problem solving achievements in Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) learning are better than those taught through conventional learning

Abstract

This research aims to obtain clustering results from the K-Means and K-Medoids methods for grouping communities per sub-district in Bojonegoro Regency based on several types of Social Assistance. The method used is one of the data mining methods, namely the clustering method. As a comparison, the clustering methods used are the K-Means and K-Medoids methods. The research variable used is annual data on Family Social Assistance from the Bojonegoro Regency Social Service from 2020 to 2021, which contains several types of assistance, namely Regional Contribution Assistance, Regional Direct Assistance, Village Direct Assistance, Social Food Assistance Affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic, and the Family Hope Program in the form of discrete data with a ratio scale. The results obtained by modifying the Elbow method obtained the best clustering method is the K-Means method with 5 optimal clusters. The sub-district clusters in 2020 and 2021 are different because in 2020 there is more focus on COVID-19 pandemic assistance, while in 2021, there is more focus on direct Regional and Village assistance

Abstract

Evaluation of the education quality in Indonesia, especially in Vocational High Schools (VHS), carried out through the Presidential Instruction 2016. The implementation of these instructions is not easy because of the different characteristics of each region both geographically and socio-culturally. This study aims to analyze related to the mapping of the characteristics of the quality of vocational education from 34 provinces in Indonesia. The methods used are correspondence analysis, biplot analysis, and cluster analysis which are multivariate statistical analysis methods. The correspondence analysis results show that there are differences in the characteristics of the quality of vocational education from each province based on school accreditation. The biplot analysis show that Teacher Quality is greatest diversity variable compared to other variables. In addition, the provinces of Aceh, East Nusa Tenggara, West Sulawesi and Central Kalimantan have a quality score below the average and are dominated by non-accredited VHSs based on the results of the analysis. The k-means cluster analysis with 4 optimal clusters gives the result that cluster 2 is the cluster with the best quality value while cluster 4 is the cluster with the lowest quality value. Three analytical concluded that provinces with very good quality scores such as DKI Jakarta, Bali and DI Yogyakarta can be used as pilot provinces for other provinces. Meanwhile, provinces with VHS quality scores below the provincial average as a whole should receive attention in order to further improve the quality of their VHSs

Abstract

Ubasyada Ciputat Sharia Savings and Loans and Financing Cooperative (KSPPS) is a cooperative whose business activities are engaged in savings and loans as the principal of its business, as well as funding, financing, and also food stalls. The results of preliminary studies show that there is a lack of interest in people living around to become cooperative customers. This study aims to determine the influence of service quality dimension factors on customer satisfaction of Ubasyada Ciputat Sharia Savings and Loans and Financing Cooperative (KSPPS) using binary logistic regression analysis. The population and sample as of this writing are 30 priority customers of the Ubasyada Ciputat Savings and Loans and Sharia Financing Cooperative (KSPPS). Data is obtained by distributing questionnaires to customers, then tested for validation and reliability and then carried out Binary Logistic Regression tests. From the results of the analysis, it was obtained that the influence of service quality dimension factors that most influence customer satisfaction of Ubasyada Ciputat Savings and Loans and Sharia Financing Cooperative (KSPPS), namely assurance (X4) and empathy (X5) have a positive effect on customer satisfaction (Y).

Abstract

In this increasingly advanced era, beauty products are increasing. Not only women, men also enjoy the development of this beauty product. One beauty brand that keeps up with current developments is the MS Glow brand. The MS Glow brand not only offers types of skincare that are suitable for men and women. This brand offers skincare that is licensed by BPOM and Halal MUI. Even though this brand is well known to the general public, it is necessary to identify the factors that influence customers' decisions in purchasing MS Glow products. This can help increase the popularity of MS Glow products. The cultural factor used in this research is the attitude of wanting to own what other people have or just following trends in the surrounding area. From this factor it can be concluded that the cultural factor is a "following" trend. Lifestyle factors in this research are defined as observations/interactions of customers who want to buy products. In this modern lifestyle, many customers always want products that are attractive or because of the quality of the product. According to Joesyiana, one of the most effective and efficient ways of marketing goods or services is through the word-of-mouth communication process using online media. With this marketing method, the brand owner gets the advantage that his product is better recognized by the public
