The application of coco fibre is widely open. In rural area, as a main source of coco fibre, the fibre IS only used for cooking and family products. As the technology development, how coco fibre can be applied as a part of composites materials. If it compound with other specific components, we can produce a new material with better mechanical properties. In this research, coco fibre with 0,2% wetness, compound with latex then pressed to get a coco mat with 2 mm thickness. Coco mat then formed with chopped strand mat to get a sandwich laminate composite. The original tensile strength of coco mat is 2,47 kgf/mm2 , and it will increased to 12,93 kgf/mm2 if it formed as sandwich laminate coco fibre. The tensile strength improves about 80, 90%.

This paper describes a combined approach of modal testing and finite element (FE) analysis for vibration analysis of a structural system comprising two nominally identical concrete building floors located at adjacent levels. Initially, a field test of a full-scale joint two-level floor system was conducted to obtain the first five mode shapes and natural frequencies. Sensitivity-based FE model correlation and updating were then con-ducted to match the dynamic characteristics of the FE model with the experimental data. By setting certain indicators of good correlations between analytical and experimental models, an updated FE model comprising two nominally identical building floor was obtained.

Stress Corrosion Craking (SCC) generally attack to metals (steel) under internal stress. Fastener could arised internal stress to material that fastened, such as plat or other material. The experiment to observed SCC could used C-Ring method as standard ASTM G38-01(2007). Fastener and base material that made C-ring corroded in sea water with various stresses that was arrised by fastener. The result of research showed that hardness of spesimen (fastener and C-ring) was increase with increase in stress, the hardness indicated there were internal stress in spesimen. Corrosion rate for spesimen was increase with increase in stress, the higher corrosion rate at spesimen of C-ring for arrised stress 256 kg was 24,20 MPY. and lower arrised stress 69 kg was 19,14 MPY. The spesimen of fastener for arrised stress 256 kg was 7,97 MPY. and lower arrised stress 69 kg was 6,89 MPY. Duration experiment time were 9 day.

Corn is one of Nusa Tenggara Timur main commodities. This plant has prospect to be increased in NTT, because it is adapted to the soil which has calcium deposits with relative low rainfall (dry soil) and high salinity. This research aimed to develop local corn variety through breeding by multi-gamma radiation method, selection, and crossing to obtain the prime seed of the local corn with different characteristics to its source plant.The method of research is breeding of local corn using gamma and multi-gamma radiation methods to produce several varieties of prime seed, so is very easy to select and obtain the prime seed of local corn. The other methods are comprised of observation, sampling, analysis, comparative, and interpretation.The result obtained on the first step (first year) is the selected mutation variety (the prime seed of local corn) with production 11 tons per ha (local yellow corn) and 9 tons per ha (local white corn). The production increase 36.4% (local yellow corn) and 33.3% (local white corn). On the second step (first year), obtained addition variety of selected mutation and more superior variety is resulted of crossing with production 13 tons per ha (local yellow corn) and 10 tons per ha (local white corn). The production increases 46.2% (local yellow corn) and 40.0% (local white corn). These results show that the breeding of local corn by multi-gamma radiation method and crossing can produce primer seed and has a certain quality to increase production significantly of the farmer on the sector of corn commodity.

The study of carbonate rocks of Zaag Formation shows that the carbonate rock of Paleo-cene-Eocene occurred in Misool Island and outcropped among the rock of Paleozoik– Tertiary. The field survey shows that the Zaag Formation is outcropped at the mid part of the Misool Island from the west to east and also at several the surrounding small islands. The petrography analysis indicated that there are two facies forming the Zaag Formation, indicated found it was form at shoal environment of Packstone Facies and Grainstone Facies. The diagenesis process observed at the thin section is micritisation, cementation, dissolution and tectonic activity.

Land movements in Tinatah, Alian District–Kebumen occured since 2005. Ap-proximately 40 families from 80 families are in high risk when rapid landslides occur in this area. The aim of this study is to identified the high risk and relatively safe areas. The used method was by field survey to obtain natural conditional data, landslide indications, range finder measured to local topographic map, laboratory analysis of engineering properties of soils, and evaluation of potential landslide. The study finds land movements in Tinatah area were caused by lithology of marl-claystone, structural geology of trace of anticline and fault. The low of slope causing land movement very slow with creeping type. The highest risk area is the trace of anticline with marl-claystone lithology (RT 6 RW 2). The more stable locations are the location with calcarenite lithology (RT 8 RW 2) and andesite breccia (Kalinanas). Anticipatory steps that can be done by stabilize of slope, drainage regulation, socialization, relocation to more stable places.

Information technology and ielecommunications to the Internet becomes the main priority in the development of world progress. These developments provide new break-through in health care services mobile using mobile IT devices or socalled mobile doctor (m-doctor). M-doctor has some excess capacity for health care services that can be accessed anytime, anywhere, by anyone. The problems that still esist on still on m-doctor is that the lack of hardware and platforms that required by the system design and ease of access. One also needs a special study of each section dealing with the existing m-doctor in order to get comfortable for the user. The aim of this study is to address the issue by using streaming multimedia as content that can offer a more clear and specific infor-mation. Streaming multimedia services m-doctor require internet connection and good access, and also requires capable hardware to enjoy the overall bias with good services by using phones that support streaming multimedia mobile facilities. Expected results of this study is a software-based content cellular WCDMA, and the main target is to design m-doctor with streaming multimedia services.

Mass transfer between solid and liquid is commonly found in extraction process. Oil extraction from catappa seeds was carried out in the stirred flask using normal hexane as a solvent. The aim of this research is to show a dimensionless equation of a Sherwood number {/} as a function both of Reynolds number {/} and Schimdt number {/}. The experiment was conducted in the room temperature, around 290C, stirring speed 500 rpm, blade diameter 2 cm, and the ratio between the mass of catappa seeds and the volume of solvent was 20 gr/100mL–20 gr/200 mL. The calculation error was 0.072%. Based on the research, it is found that Sh = 0,2166.106 . Re-1,506. Sc1,120.

The issue of the depletion of oil reserves in the world, and the problem of air pollution produced by motor vehicles, motivate many researchers to seek alternative energy sources to propel the vehicle. One promising way is to replace combustion motor with an electric motor, which is known as an electric car. First stage of this research is to model the flow of power in the electric car energy system to obtain its characteristics. Power flow efficiency in electric cars is very important because this type of car is highly dependent on the limited electrical energy supplied by a battery. Therefore it should be managed properly. This study is to look into the power flow calculation so that the amount of electrical energy is in accordance with the needs of electric cars. A model using Simulink software is to get the best power flow response to the electric car energy system.

Madukismo is one of the companies operating in the area of agroindustry with sugar as the main product. In order to exist, the company needs to increase the work effectiveness and efficiency in using the production machines through the planning of maintenance scheduling in order that the machines or units that are going to be used can be operated well, and work properly.The aim of this research is to analyze level requirement of amount of spare-part optimal with Sparepart requirement nomograph approach. This effort is able to increase high production quality, availability and reliability by maximizing equipments age, and also exploiting of effective maintenance. Based on the research result shows that the maintenance of chain eye component, it should be differentiated, basically, on the maintenance time. Determination of feed amounts at "t" periods with level of protection equal to 95% depict amount of requirement of accesses for chain component that availed counted 30 units.
