Abstract

Sexual behavior is one of the factors thought to be associated with Toxoplasma gondii infection. Several studies have shown that sexual behavior such as oral sex, a history of injuries to the genital organs during sexual intercourse, and working as a sex worker are associated with Toxoplasma gondii infection. In addition, a history of injecting narcotic use is also associated with Toxoplasma gondii infection. One method to determine infection status is serological examination, through measurement of immunoglobulin G (IgG). IgG seropositivity is the basis for determining the status of Toxoplasma gondii infection in the chronic or latent phase. This study aims to determine the relationship between sexual behavior and history of injecting drug use with Toxoplasma gondii infection based on IgG serological status. The study population in this study were 56 homosexual men with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) in the DKI Jakarta area, Bogor Regency and City, and Depok City. In this study, the infection status of Toxoplasma gondii was measured by the ELISA method at the Department of Parasitology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia. Sexual behavior and history of injecting drug use were measured using a questionnaire. The results of the study proved that 38 samples had positive serological status, 17 samples had negative serological status, and 1 sample was in the borderline range. Based on an analysis using the logistic regression test, age, education, getting paid for having sex, using condoms during oral sex, and a history of injuries to the genital organs during sex are risk factors for Toxoplasma gondii infection.

Abstract

Staphylococcus aureus is a gram-positive, which belongs to the Staphylococcus aureus family forming grape-like cluster. Staphylococcus aureus can be found in parts of the human body such as the skin, skin glands, mucous membranes, nose and intestines. Methycillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is a Staphylococcus aureus that has mutations in penicillin-binding protein (PBP), namely the mecA gene with decreased affinity for most penicillins. Reported one case of a 59-year-old man with MRSA in nasal septal ulceration. Diagnosis is based on anamnesis, physical examination and laboratory test like complete blood count and antibiotic culture test. The therapy in this case was giving tetracycline 4 x 500mg for 14 days.

Abstract

HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) is a virus that attacks the immune system making the body susceptible to various diseases, such as TB, TORCH and others. Knowing the effect of the incidence of HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) which has CD-8 T Cell maturity accompanied by UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) and Hip Dislocation with Sciatic Nerve Pain using the minipill as emergency contraception accompanied by PTSD (Post Traumatic Syndrome Disorder) in Commercial Sex Workers. This research is a Systematic Review using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses method or commonly called PRISMA, this method is carried out systematically by following the correct research steps or protocols. Sources were taken from the PubMed site and the Google Scholar site with journals published in 2017-2022 and then screening was carried out to obtain 20,486 results. Journal clustering was carried out and the number of Scopus Q1 indexed journals was 1 journal, 2 journals Q2, 1 journal indexed Sinta S1, so that 4 journals were extracted. The majority of journals discuss age related to the influence of HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) events which experience CD-8 T Cell maturity accompanied by UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) and Hip Dislocation with Sciatic Nerve Pain using the minipill as emergency contraception accompanied by PTSD (Post Traumatic Syndrome) Disorder) in commercial sex workers.

Abstract

A serious complication that is often found in people with Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is diabetic foot ulcers. One of the primary prevention efforts for complications of diabetes mellitus such as the risk of neuropathy and foot ulcers is to provide health education about foot care for people with diabetes mellitus to increase knowledge and skills in performing routine and independent foot care. The target of this community service program is people with diabetes mellitus in the working area of the Syamtalira Aron Health Center, Syamtalira Aron District, totaling 25 people. The problem encountered is that DM sufferers still lack information about how to properly and correctly treat diabetic feet. There is no health team that provides direct education to DM sufferers about diabetic foot care techniques. The method used in this activity is to provide education and simulation/practice of diabetic foot exercises using power point media and distributing leaflets about the management and care of feet in people with DM. After educational activities and foot care simulations were carried out on November 14 and 15 2022 there was an 80% increase in knowledge in the good category and after the foot exercise simulation/exercise there was an increase in skills in doing foot care, namely 96%. This shows the target achievement in accordance with the expected results. The output that is expected to be achieved from this activity is that this program can provide benefits to the community, especially the target audience, thereby increasing the quality of human resources and the results can be published nationally with the ISSN and e-ISSN.

Abstract

The hospital claim process starts with completing the document file as a condition for submitting a claim by the hospital coding officer. A verifier verifies the claim file at the BPJS Center. Verification is researching and checking the claim's Completeness, validity, and feasibility. After verification, the claim file is sent to the Branch Office / District / City Operational Office of BPJS Kesehatan. The Completeness of the document file is an important part of the claim process. If the Hospital can meet the Completeness of the documents, it is likely that the faster the process of reimbursement of the cost of health services that have been provided. The method used in this study is the mixed method. The mixed method is a research method that combines quantitative methods with qualitative methods to be used together in a research activity so that more comprehensive, valid, reliable, and objective data are obtained. Hypothesis Results from First Hypothesis 1) Hypothesis Zero (Ho) There is no relationship between the Completeness of the inpatient medical records of the surgical care unit with the approval of the BPJS claim at Citama Hospital 2) Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) There is a relationship between the Completeness of the inpatient medical records of the inpatient care unit with the approval of the BPJS claim at Citama Hospital Based on the results of the Simple Regression in the previous section, it can be concluded that Ho was rejected, Ha received. The Completeness of the inpatient medical records of the inpatient care unit significantly affects the approval of BPJS claims at Citama Hospital.

Abstract

Infectious diseases are still one of the important public health problems, especially in developing countries. The high incidence of Antibiotic resistance due to the irrational use of antibiotics is a special concern at this time. The government is also trying to control it through the Antimicrobial Resistance Control Program, including the rational administration of prophylactic antibiotics in surgery. Prophylactic antibiotics are antibiotics given before, during, and after surgical procedures to prevent complications of infection or infection of the surgical site (IDO). A retrospective and observational (non-experimental) study to know Patient characteristics, surgical characteristics, characteristics of the use of prophylactic antibiotics, rationality and cost analysis of using prophylactic antibiotics in Sectio Caesarea surgery and Appendectomy of patients at Hospital X Type B Jakarta in the period January 1 2021 – September 30 2021. The results of the study found that the selection of prophylactic antibiotics was not right (55.8%), the timing difference for prophylactic antibiotics was not right (84.5%), the prophylactic Antibiotic dose was not right (85.3%), all were correct the route of administration of prophylactic antibiotics by intravenous drip (100%), all of which are not appropriate for giving prophylactic Antibiotic intervals (100%) and entirely irrational in the use of prophylactic antibiotics in hospitals (100%). Hospitals can save costs, reduce the rate of Antibiotic resistance and reduce the incidence of surgical site infections by increasing physician compliance in using prophylactic antibiotics under hospital guidelines.
