Abstract

This study aims to improve the activities and learning outcomes of grade 4A students at SDI Bhoanawa 1 through the application of the Quantum Learning model. This research is a classroom action research with the stages plan, action, observe and reflect. The research subjects were 23 students of grade 4A SDI Bhoanawa 1. Data obtained by observation, tests and interviews. Data were analyzed with simple statistics to determine the percentage of individual and classical completeness of each cycle. The results showed that after the quantum learning model was applied for two cycles, there was an increase in activity and science learning outcomes in grade 4A SDI Bhoanawa 1 students.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low mathematics learning achievement achieved by students. Students who experienced learning completeness with KKM 65 reached 42,10% or as many as 8 people and students who had not completed learning were 57,89% or as many as 11 students. The data from the identification of problems showed that the average learning achievement obtained was 62,7. The highest and lowest scores achieved by students were 100 and 35 with a total of 4 students each. This study aims to improve teacher skills, students activities, and student mathematics learning achievement. The conclusion from the implementation of research using the NHT type cooperative learning model, namely the type of NHT cooperative learning model can improve teacher skills, student activities, and learning achievement.

Abstract

The study aimed at finding out the improvement of students’ writing skill in class III, Semester II SDN Montong Baan, academic year 2017/2018. Each cycle consists of four steps, namely are planning, executing, observing/evaluating, and reflecting. The method used is observation, questioner/test, and documentation. The result of the study shows that the achievement of Students in class III, Semester II SD Inpres Onekore 6, academic year 2017/2018 in learning bahasa Indonesia on writing a simple essay based on the serial pictures before the execution phase is very low. It is showed by the achievement of 57,92. After the execution of using serial pictures, the student achievement is better. It is showed in cycle 1, the result increases 67,78 with good category. In cycle 2, the result increases to 78,33% with good category.

Abstract

Type of this research used are Classroom Action Research (CAR), which held in 2 cycles. The subject of this research were 22 student fourth grade of Onekore 6 Primary School. The technical data submission in this research were observation and written test. The research result showed that: 1) the effort to improve student’s discipline and learning achievement in social studies subject by using cooperative learning model STAD type can be done by these steps: teacher convey the learnings, students learn in team, students do the test individually, and teacher giving team’s achievement; 2) the application of cooperative learning model STAD type can improve discipline in social studies subject. This can be seen by the improvement of student’s discipline average score from former condition was 4,95 (low) into 7,89 (medium) in cycle I and into 10,41 (high) in cycle II; and 3) the application of cooperative learning model STAD type can improve social studies achievement. This can be seen by the improvement of student’s average score from former condition is 51,34 into 53,33 in cycle I and into 66,59 in cycle II.The improvement of student’s percentage who reach KKM (63) from former condition was 20% into 22% in cycle I and into 59 % in cycle II .

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the discovery of problems in the science learning process experienced by students, namely the low understanding of the concept of style in grade IV SDI Watujara students. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in understanding the concept of science by applying animated film media. The research was carried out in the Classroom Action Research (PTK) stage design by Kemmis and Mc Taggart which included the planning stages (Plan), the implementation stage (Act), the observation stage (observe) and the reflection stage (reflect). The data taken is data on students' conceptual understanding. Data collection was carried out by using observation techniques, field notes, tests and interviews. Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques. The results of the research that had been carried out in two cycles showed an increase in students' conceptual understanding after the application of animated film media.

Abstract

The research objective was to determine the development of the kelimutu lake tourism object and its impact on the economic situation of the surrounding community. This type of qualitative research with data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The collected data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis by Miles and Huberman. This research shows (1) The development of the Kelimutu Lake Tourism Object carried out by the Kelimutu National Park Office has been well supported by the availability of facilities and infrastructure, improving the quality of human resourches through training, collaborating with related parties and aggressively carrying out promotional efforts. (2) The existence of the Kelimutu Lake Tourism Object has a positive infuluences on the economic conditions of the Ko’anara Village community. It is proven that there is an increase in the income of people engaged in the tourism sector, as well as the absorption of labour from local communities.

Abstract

Talking about the belis, which is studied from the word alone, it means that belis is a dowry with the size of payment, and usually depends on bargaining. Adat or lasim are called rules that have existed and been carried out since time immemorial in ways and customs which are used as a from of cultural ideas which consist of cultural values, norms, laws and rules which are related to one another into one system. The study of thoughts about Quoa Vadis Belis brings us to one thing that deserves a deeper study where you or we go and find out what belis means according to Sikka Maumere. The main problem examined in this study is how to calculate Belis and how it impacts society in changing the life of socio-cultural economy. The objectives of this research are; first to know the concept of belis, second; integrity and economics, third is how the perspective of the older and younger generations in placing belis in the Sikka Maumere community. The method used in this research descriptive qualitative research. Techniques and data analysis are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The result of the research show that belis in the Sikka Maumere community is not only entrenched but also an integral part or all the parts that need to be a complete and perfect complement to a socio-economic and cultural approach pattern.

Abstract

The world of education is very closely related to development, it cannot be denied that the contribution of education to development is very large. Education is a way to progress and achieve social and economic welfare. This study provides an overview and results of research related to the contribution of education to economic development in Indonesia. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research methods used to collect information that is analyzed through observation of secondary data and observation of correlation between variables graphically. Data obtained from publications or documents from official institutions related to the field of education. The results of the study show that education in Indonesia, both in terms of quantity and quality, indirectly contributes to economic development in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study departed from the problem of the low science learning outcomes in grade V SDN Roja 3. To overcome this, the CORE model was implemented which aims to improve student learning outcomes. This research is a classroom action research. The research subjects were 11 grade students of SDN Roja 3, totaling 11 people. The data were taken by using test techniques, observation and field notes. Data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results showed that after the application of the CORE model there was an increase in science learning outcomes in grade V SDN Roja 3. This was proven successively from the achievement of completeness of learning outcomes in pre-action by 36 percent and increased to 55 percent in cycle I and reached a maximum of 100 percent in cycle II.
