Abstract

Incentives are needed to improve the motivation and performance of employees to always work optimally, so that the vision and mission of the organization / company can be achieved. This research aims to explain: 1) The Effect of Incentives on Employee Work Motivation; 2) Influence of Employee Performance Incentives; 3) The Effect of Work Motivation on Employee Performance, 4) The Significance of Work Motivation as an intervening between incentives and employee performance. This Explanatory Research conducted with a quantitative approach, using Regression-path analysis and Sobel analysis. The data used are primary data, obtained through online questionnaires (google form) as many as 30 samples which is the total population of outsourced employees of PT. Ganda Mady Indotama in the Pondok Labu AL-Izhar school area numbered 30 people. Variabels studied include Incentives, Work Motivation and Employee Performance. The results of the path analysis showed that the Incentive variabel (X) had a significant effect on Work Motivation (Y1) with a beta value of 0.677, the Incentive variabel (X) significantly affected Employee Performance (Y2) with a beta value of 0.279, the Work Motivation variabel (Y1) significantly affected Employee Performance (Y2) with a beta value of 0,650. Work motivation is proven to be variabel intervening in the relationship between the influence of incentive variabels on employee performance. The total effect of Incentives on Employee Performance through Work Motivation increased to 0.719. But its influence as an intervening is not significant because the p-value of the Sobel test of 0.071 is greater than 0.05. Abstract

The diversity of language use in a heterogeneous society gives rise to language variations, including registers. The Aquascape Lovers Community in Rokan Hulu uses a separate register. This study aims to describe the form, function, and meaning of the limited and open circle register in the Aquascape Lovers Community in Rokan Hulu. This research is quantitative research with a descriptive method. Listening and recording methods were used in data collection. The informant is a Community of Aquascape Lovers in Rokan Hulu. The data were analyzed qualitatively by referring to the concept of form, function, and meaning of closed registers and closed registers proposed by Halliday. The results of the study are as follows. First, the limited circle register of the Aquascape Lovers Community in Rokan Hulu at the level of words and phrases in the form of abbreviations and the use of foreign words such as WC, kebo, and sticky rice with interactional and personal functions. Each word and phrase has a specific meaning. Second, the open circle register of the aquascape lover community in Rokan Hulu at the word and phrase-level in the form of abbreviations and the use of foreign words such as PH, lily pipe, and surface scum with interactional, heuristic, and regulatory functions. Each word and phrase has a specific meaning. It can be concluded that some of the registers used by this community can only be understood by community members and some can also be understood by people outside the community.

Abstract

Understanding and using English in communicating has become a necessity for everyone who wants to win the increasingly fierce competition in work and business in the era of globalization. However, there are still many people who have not realized and prepared themselves to learn English. The ease of accessing English learning materials in the current digital era is not used to improve communication skills. English For Teens, a training to communicate in English, was held with the aim of building and raising awareness of the younger generation so that they are motivated to learn and practice English. This qualitative research focuses on the problems faced by the managers of Karang Taruna RW.02 Bambu Apus, East Jakarta, and provides the best solution in building and increasing the awareness of its members to learn and practice English. Low understanding of English causes difficulties in communicating and accessing various information that is important for personal and organizational progress. English For Teens also tries to provide learning materials that are simple, varied, but easy to understand so as to eliminate the impression that learning English is very difficult and boring. The results of the training showed that the participants easily understood the learning material provided and could do the exercises. However, the main problem is when doing speaking, especially in how to pronounce words (pronunciation), so the tutor has to give examples of correct pronunciation over and over again.

Abstract

As technology develops, new breakthroughs emerge which are considered more practical and make it easier for parties to settle business disputes out of court using Online Dispute Resolution. The Online Dispute Resolution method has not yet been regulated, meaning that there is a legal vacuum regarding the use of Online Dispute Resolution. This research is legal research. The approach used to answer this legal issue is the statute approach, which is an approach using legislation and regulations. Conceptual approach (conceptual approach) is used to examine and analyze the framework of thought, conceptual framework or theoretical basis of legal issues to be studied. Based on the results of the analysis of legal materials, it is concluded that the use of Online Dispute Resolution can be carried out where the Article 4 paragraph (3) of ADR Act stipulates that as long as it has been agreed upon by the disputing parties, dispute resolution through arbitration can occur in the form of electronic documents. Then, according to Article 5 of the ITE Act, it states that electronic information and/or electronic documents and/or their printouts are legal evidence. Even so, Online Dispute Resolution has not been able to run optimally because there are no separate regulations, therefore special arrangements regarding Online Dispute Resolution are needed to ensure legal certainty.

Abstract

Infotaiment shows have an impact that cannot be separated from the influence of the mass media. The influence can be in the form of behavior, fashion and even attitudes towards certain ideologies. It all depends on how prepared humans are to deal with television information. If what is shown is a good achievement achieved by a celebrity, this can be used as a lesson for his fans. But if what is shown is behavior that violates immoral norms, it is certainly not good. Ironically, infotainment shows more emphasis on the lifestyle of celebrities, starting from minimal clothing, hairstyles and social interactions, which in fact they adopt more of a western lifestyle. This has a very dangerous impact if it is continuously shown to the public, especially to children who are easy to follow things that are often seen by children. The rise of television shows with soap operas and reality shows is in dire need of infotainment, and vice versa where infotainment is an inseparable part of television shows.

Abstract

Traffic jams in Jakarta have become our daily sight. There are many steps that have been taken by the government to solve congestion in Jakarta. However, traffic jams still occur today. The high mobility of road users is often constrained by the lack of limited road facilities and infrastructure. Therefore, road users must find their own way to solve this problem. That is, one of the most effective and efficient ways is to find an alternative route or route for the shortest distance that can be traversed using the Djikstra Algorithm. So that the journey from the Jelambar area to the STMIK NUSA MANDIRI Cengkareng campus can be passed quickly without being blocked by traffic jams. The use of the Djikstra Algorithm can provide a solution because the Djikstra Algorithm provides output in the form of the fastest and shortest path from the place of origin to our destination.

Abstract

This research is propted by Law Number 30 of 2014 concerning Government Administration. The object of study in this paper is focused on the discussion of the Legis Ratio of the decree made by the Republic of Indonesia’s Minister of Home Affairs, Minister of Law and Human Rights, Minister of Communication and Information, Attorney General, and the Head of the National Counter-Terrorism Agency, Number 220-4780 of 2020, Number M.HH-14.HH.05.05 of 2020, Number 690 of 2020, Number 264 of 2020, Number KB/3/XII/2020, Number 320 of 2020 concerning the Prohibition of Islamic Defender’s Front (FPI) activities and use of its symbols and attributes. This study is intended to analyse the Legis Ratio of the Joint Decisions made by the Six State Institutions that meet the legal conditions of the decision and its legal effects.The result of this study shows that the decrees of the Six Institutions are not in accordance with the reasons for consideration and the purpose of the FPI Decree towards the necessity to contain the reasons for juridical, sociological, and philosophical considerations as a ratio legis in deciding. In addition to that, the decrees do not meet the legal requirements of a decision on the element of authority which make the legal effects invalid hence the legal effects are non-binding since the decision was made. This means that all legal effects that have arisen from the decree are considered to have never existed and are deemed to not fulfil the elements of procedure and matter hence its legal effects are not binding from the time they are revoked or remain valid until the revocation is made.

Abstract

Based on the Tiket.com survey in the third quarter of 2020, there was a three-fold increase in transactions that occurred in hotel booking services and flight bookings. This increase is considered very fast in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic due to the encouragement of people to take vacations in the midst of the pandemic. To be able to compensate for the increase that occurred, tour and travel companies are required to be able to optimize services by computerizing the flight ticket booking system. Therefore, the author intends to create a website for booking domestic airline tickets for CV JENIKA GROUP Depok. The author uses a method that has proven its effectiveness in designing an information system, namely the Waterfall method. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the design of this web-based domestic flight ticket booking program can provide convenience and comfort for admins and customers of CV JENIKA GROUP and can further expand marketing reach.

Abstract

All types of all living and non-living creatures that are inhabiting this earth and including from the interior of this earth is an explanation of the term commonly referred to as the living environment. With the development of the era until now the world is experiencing an era called the Covid-19 pandemic, it is still often found that humans do not pay attention and understand that the environment has a very important role and this understanding is needed by all humans because of the attention and understanding of humans towards the environment. Life raises a consequence and action in the form of environmental management as a guide for managing various kinds of waste from factories, hospitals and daily waste. In particular, it is located in hospitals, which in this pandemic era produced more waste than before, which increased up to four times from before this pandemic, such as the use of medical equipment and equipment used to treat and treat patients infected with covid 19 which became waste categorized as toxic and hazardous waste. Through legal issues, one problem formulation was drawn, namely How is the hospital's criminal responsibility for toxic and hazardous medical waste management according to the provisions of Legal number. 32 of 2009 concerning the protection and management of the environment. This research method uses normative legal research using three legal approaches, namely the statutory approach, conceptual approach, and case study. Based on the findings of this study, even though there are non-natural disasters, namely Covid-19, criminal responsibility must still exist or be enforced. However, the criminal provisions contained in a regulation can be a last resort, given the current urgent situation. constitution number 32 of 2009 concerning the Protection and Management of the Environment became the last means. This is also in accordance with the ultimum remedium principle which is one of the principles contained in Indonesian criminal law which states that criminal law should be used as a last resort in terms of law enforcement.

Abstract

Abstract The object of this research is to apply storytelling method in teaching English speaking. The research was conducted at the fourth grade SDN Cengkareng Barat 03 Pagi in academic year 2017/2018. In process teaching, writer used theory by Fikriah which describes about procedures of teaching used storytelling method to improved speaking skill. Writer used picture as media and also students experience to learn English speaking. The writer analyses the process of teaching and collecting data through; field research, library research, and internet. There are some difficulties in English speaking that found at SDN Cengkareng Barat 03 pagi, such as students’ vocabulary still less, lack of ideas to tell, and students afraid to speak louder. During process teaching run, there are some advantages of using storytelling method, these was : (1) Improving students’ activeness and imagination in speaking, especially in the implementing or telling a story (2) students brave to speak in front of class to tell the story (3) by practice directly students more understood the material given. Thus, it can be said that storytelling method could improve students’ speaking skill
