JURNAL BADATI diterbitkan oleh Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik, Universitas Kristen Indonesia Maluku. KATA BADATI adalah sebuah nama yang berasal dari kosa-kata bahasa daerah Maluku Tengah, tepatnya masyarakat Ambon dan Lease. Badati, secara singkat, adalah suatu suasana yang tumbuh dan terpelihara bergenerasi dalam keseharian aktivitas bersama secara kekeluargaan di mana setiap orang atau keluarga, baik dalam pendekatan orang per orang, keluarga (baik dalam garis lurus atau menyimpang), atau anak negeri/masyarakat dalam satu negeri/desa, menunjukkan kepeduliannya untuk turut menanggung suatu beban (biasanya secara material) bersama yang sebelumnya tidak bisa ditanggung oleh seseorang atau suatu keluarga. Pilihan nama BADATI mengandung makna filosofi, yakni menunjuk pada upaya untuk mencerdaskan dan memberdayakan orang demi kesejahteraannya (individu, kelompok dan masyarakat) melalui pikiran-pikiran dari hasil penelitian kajian teoritik tidak dapat dilakukan secara sendiri-sendiri tanpa bekerja bersama dengan melibatkan pihak lain sebagai sistem sumber (Jejaring). Di dalam prinsip bekerja bersama itu, secara esensial, bertujuan untuk memandirikan orang (individu, kelompok dan masyarakat) sebagai subyek dengan menggali dan memaksimalkan potensi yang dimilikinya secara bermartabat. BADATI memiliki nomor ISSN 1907-5340 (cetak) diterbitkan secara cetak sejak tahun 2007 dan pada tahun 2019 Jurnal Badati diterbitkan secara online sejak Volume 1 no 1 tahun 2019 dengan no ISSN 2722-3248 (online) oleh Fakultas Ilmu Sosial & Ilmu Politik sampai sekarang. Dengan tujuan untuk mempublikasikan hasil kajian ilmiah dan penelitian dalam bidang ilmu Sosial dan Humaniora. BADATI menerima tulisan berbentuk riset kuantitatif maupun kualitatif dari akademisi, praktisi, peneliti yang relevan dengan topik ilmu sosial dan humaniora. Artikel yang dikirimkan haruslah belum pernah atau tidak sedang dalam proses dimuat pada jurnal lainnya. Artikel yang masuk harus sesuai dengan petunjuk penulisan atau format yang telah ditetapkan. Editor akan menolak artikel yang tidak memenuhi persyaratan tanpa proses lebih lanjut. Artikel yang telah memenuhi persyaratan akan dinilai kelayakannya oleh reviewer melalui proses blind-review. BADATI terbit dua kali dalam satu tahun, April dan November.

Abstract

The current condition of the business world requires companies to take strategic steps towards the future after the economic crisis. One of the potentials in each region is the existence of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) have a very important role in the national economy. Entrepreneurial orientation is known as a new approach in the renewal of company performance. The performance of Indonesian SMEs also has weaknesses in terms of the growth of the goods-producing sector (tradable) which is still low when compared to the service sector (nontradble). In fact, ideally the goods-producing sector should be higher when compared to the service sector because the goods-producing sector can be used as one of the components of national exports. The results of the validity and reliability test show that all statements in each variable are declared valid and reliable. It can be seen that rcalculate rtable (0.235) then all statement items are declared valid, while the reliability test for all variables is declared reliable because the value of Cronbach Alpa 0.60. The test results are partially obtained with a significance value of 0.000 at a significance level of 5% where the value of 0.000 0.05 then the accepted hypothesis means that entrepreneurial orientation has a partial effect on the performance of SMEs. When viewed from the calculated t value of 1.677 because the tcount is 7.634 ttable 1.677, it means that entrepreneurial orientation has a positive effect on the performance of SMEs.

Abstract

The development of communication and information technology which gave birth to the internet as an electronic communication network, digital technology developments and technology, mobile. In addition to democratic social order becoming a world ideology, it has encouraged various countries to eliminate barriers in the production and distribution of information. Like media consumption, this news consumption pattern can be operationalized into the amount of time spent on various types of media, the media content consumed, and the various relationships between individual consumers. media with the content of the media consumed or the media as a whole (Rosengren in Rakhmat, 2001, p. 66). Understanding an audience's media consumption patterns also indirectly provides input on the use of the types of mass media that are most trusted and considered credible by the audience. Results of hypothesis testing of social media content on news consumption patterns. From the results of the t test, it can be seen that tcount is 3.441 with a significance level (?) = 0.05, namely 1.701 because tcount is 3.441 ttable 1.701, meaning that social media content has a positive influence on news consumption patterns. Based on the calculation results, it explains the magnitude of the coefficient of determination or R Square of 0.297 (0.297 × 100%), this shows that the percentage contribution of the influence of the independent variable social media content on the dependent variable news consumption patterns is 29.7% or the independent variable used in the model is able to explain the variance the news consumption pattern variable was 29.7%, while the remaining 70.3% (100%-29.7%) was influenced by other variables not included in the research model

Abstract

The power outage in South Sulawesi has become a widely discussed case in the media today. Based on this case, it reflects the complexity of challenges faced by PT. PLN and the importance of a quick and coordinated response from Public Relations (PR) to manage the communication crisis that can influence the public's perception of the company. The author considers it crucial to conduct research related to the crisis conditions and crisis communication strategies to be undertaken by PR of PT. PLN. Public Relations of PT. PLN can leverage social media platforms as part of the PR strategy in responding to the communication crisis related to power outages in South Sulawesi. An exploratory qualitative methodology is employed. Data collection methods involve literature review, observation, and case studies. The utilization of social media in crisis communication, applying the STREMII (STREAM-ee) model by Stewart and Wilson, introduces a cyclical process for organizations as a reference when engaging in crisis communication using social media platforms. The six related elements of STREMII include: (a) social monitoring and listening, (b) targeting the right audience, (c) crisis response and conversation, (d) monitoring environmental conditions and evaluating outcomes, (e) interacting with consumers and the public, and (f) implementing necessary changes.

Abstract

Morale is a person's desire and sincerity to do his job well and be disciplined to achieve maximum work performance. Therefore, every organization must strive in such a way that its employees still have high morale in completing the assigned tasks. However, to achieve the desired work spirit is not easy, because many factors influence it, including organizational culture, work environment and promotions. This study aims to analyze the influence of organizationalculture, job promotion and work environment either partially or simultaneously on work morale. This research uses descriptive-quantitative approach with causal correlational type. The population used in this study were all employees of the Planning and Development Agency of Maluku Province as many as 134 people consisting of 74 ASN and 60 honorary staff. Determination of the number of samples using the Isaac and Michael sample table, where if the population is 134 people, then at the 95% confidence level, the sample is 97 people, which is determined by simple random sampling. Data were analyzed by multiple linear regression. The results of the study concluded that organizational culture, promotion and work environment had a positive andsignificant effect on work morale, either partially or simultaneously.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan WhatsApp sebagai budaya baru media komunikasi dalam penyampaian informasi orang tua dan guru di SD Negeri 78 Air Putri Kota Ambon serta Untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan WhatsApp sebagai media komunikasi efektif dalam penyampaian informasi orang tua dan guru di SD Negeri 78 Air Putri Kota Ambon. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan melakukan pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan dan kajian pustaka.  Hasil dari penelitian secara keseluruhan, penulis dapati bahwa Aplikasi WhatsApp merupakan bentuk dari budaya baru dalam penggunaan media komunikasi di sekolah, selain itu WhatsApp dapat dijadikan media komunikasi efektif dan tidak efektif orang tua dan guru disekolah serta WhatsApp dapat dijadikan media interaksi antara orang tua dan guru di sekolah dalam penyampian informasi.

Abstract

Para pengrajin sagu di negeri Rutong  belum mengalami pengembangan dalam usaha agar bisa mencapai kesejahteraan. Produksi sagu, hanya masih dalam bentuk pati/tepung dan bentuk pengemasanya masih sederhana karena memakai anyaman daun sagu( tumang). Sampai saat ini para pengrajin belum mampu memodifikasi pati sagu agar menjadi produk-produk yang lain, sehingga pendapatan para pengrajin masih tergolong rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis bagaimana potret  pemberdayaan dan kesejahteraan para   pengrajin sagu di Negeri Rutong. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Deskripsi Kualitatif. Informan dari penelitian ini adalah petani pengrajin sagu, dan pemerintah negeri rutong.hasil penelitian mengungkap bahwa, Pemerintah Negeri Rutong memiliki peran yang signifikan. Dukungan dari pemerintah berupa bantuan keuangan, pelatihan keterampilan, akses permodalan, dan fasilitasi pemasaran telah terbukti memberikan dampak positif bagi pengrajin sagu. Pemerintah Negeri Rutong juga telah menunjukkan komitmen untuk memajukan industri sagu melalui berbagai langkah konkret. Pendirian pusat pelatihan khusus untuk pengrajin sagu, penyediaan bantuan permodalan, dan promosi produk sagu secara nasional adalah beberapa contoh inisiatif pemerintah yang mendukung pemberdayaan pengrajin sagu di negeri Rutong.

Abstract

Rolling power outages in Makassar City as a result of load management due to the long dry season have caused anger among the community. A decision to turn off electricity in residents' homes from 2 to 7 hours may be unavoidable by the National Electricity Company (PLN). However, because the PLN leadership was unable to communicate during a crisis, this resulted in anger among the community.The approach used in this article is a qualitative research approach. An approach that aims to understand the phenomena experienced by research subjects by utilizing various scientific methods. The method used is an in-depth case study regarding load management and power outages in Makassar City. The results shown are that PLN failed to predict the unclear conditions at the start of the crisis and also failed to build communication with the city government and the community. They do not provide good information and explanations that can be accepted by the public.

Abstract

Quantitative research can be interpreted as a method based on the philosophy of positivism, used to research certain populations or samples, sampling techniques are generally carried out randomly, data collection uses research instruments, data analysis is quantitative/statistical with the aim of testing predetermined hypotheses. . included in quantitative methods are experimental and survey methods, therefore the method used in this research is a survey method, to obtain data from certain natural (not artificial) places, but researchers carry out treatments in collecting data, for example by distributing questionnaires, tests, structured interviews and so on. Based on the results of the research above with 40 respondent answers and 27 indicators or questions, the researcher obtained the results using several tests including validity tests to correct and find out whether each statement in the questionnaire with the number of each variable from the test results was known, that the calculation results are valid. Then the researcher continued with the reliability test, t test (partial), f test (simultaneous), knowing that the independent variables together had a significant effect on the dependent variable, thus from these two data tests the hypothesis was accepted. This means that Organizational Communication has an impact on the Leadership Style of Millennial Village Heads in Ambon City. Next, the researcher used a simple regression test and coefficient of determination test to calculate the magnitude of the impact of the independent variable on the dependent variable, so it can be shown that the percentage impact of organizational communication is 42.3% while the remaining 47.7% is influenced by other indicators. Variable Y is the leadership style of millennial village heads with indicators namely: democratic style, bureaucratic style have a significant effect on variable X so that the hypothesis results are accepted.

Abstract

Symbolic Communication of the Crazy Bamboo Attraction in a Communication Ethnography Perspective. This research uses qualitative research methods with an ethnographic communication approach. Ethnography aims to discover the essence and complexity of culture that can describe a community. The results of the research obtained. The crazy bamboo attraction is a typical culture of the people of Maluku which is full of mystical nuances. This attraction has been passed down from generation to generation, and until now this attraction still exists even though its existence has begun to erode over time because not all countries/villages in Maluku still have this attraction. We can find many verbal and non-verbal symbols when we see the crazy bamboo attraction. The message from the crazy bamboo attraction is: The content of the message from the crazy bamboo attraction is: The spirit of mutual cooperation in the lives of the people of Maluku, the spirit of togetherness that has been well maintained for the people of Maluku, disciplined obedience to what has been mutually determined to be universal noble values, There are values of mutual respect among the people of Maluku, maintaining the preservation of cultural heritage from generation to generation.

Abstract

The aim of this research is the influence of the use of communication technology and how communication technology influences human behavior with current communication technology. The descriptive method used in this research produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words and observations of people's behavior. In this case, researchers talk to sources through interviews. The data obtained in the form of notes, archives and documents required as secondary data were then collected by researchers. The collected results were compiled thoroughly and methodically after undergoing qualitative analysis. Data triangulation was then used to verify the accuracy of the data. The advancement of information and communication technology is a trend that cannot be reversed. Many aspects of human life have progressed in the era of globalization. Therefore, general knowledge about this technology is necessary for society as a whole to transition into the era of globalization. Without ethics and understanding, it is difficult to utilize technology to improvepeople's lives.
