This study aimed to improve students' reading skills with TTS Readers in 9F Class of SMP Negeri 1 Wonosari in the 2nd Semester of 2017/2018 Academic Year. The actions given were in the form of learning that emphasized loud reading activities facilitated by the TTS Readers application. This research consisted of two cycles with two meetings each. Research stages included planning, doing and observing, and reflecting. Data were taken through questionnaires and observations. The results of the questionnaire were tabulated and processed and then compared with the determined indicators to measure their improvement and achievement. Observation data were processed by calculating the percentage of the number of words that were correctly pronounced then compared with the indicators to find out the increase and achievement. The results of the study were the increase in students' reading aloud skills as evidenced by the achievement of indicators, namely the average of students who were included in the Frequent and Always category of 64.2% of the target of 50%. Classical mastery in achieving reading aloud skills was 62.5% in Cycle 1 to 100% in Cycle 2 of the minimum target which is formulated in the indicator of success of 75%.

Improvement of Teacher Discipline Character Through Discussion of Continuous Monitoring Results in SD 2 Barongan, UPT PP Jetis District, 2017/2018. This school action research aims to improve the character of teacher discipline through discussion of the results of continuous monitoring in SD 2 Barongan. The background of this research is the lack of discipline character, the results of monitoring are not optimal and there are no discussion activities to discuss the results of monitoring. This type of research is the School Action Research (PTS). Subjects were 8 Barongan Elementary School teachers, totaling 8 teachers consisting of 2 male teachers and 6 female teachers. Data analysis techniques used in this study were qualitative descriptive and quantitative descriptions. This research was conducted in two cycles, and pre-action to determine the initial character of the discipline. Discussion activities of the harvesters in the first cycle of the first meeting are still in the sufficient category. The results of the discussion at the second meeting of the first cycle are in the good category, but the scores obtained are still low. The results of disciplinary observations at the first meeting are still in the sufficient category. At the second meeting of the first cycle the results of the character of discipline are already in the good category, with a score that is still low. Cycle II of the first meeting the results of the discussion were in the good category. At the second meeting the score increases with the score increasing. In the initial conditions, the average character discipline score was 28,625. In the first cycle the average score of discipline characters increased to 31.56 with a good category. Furthermore, in the second cycle of action, an increase with an average grade of 42.25 with a good category. Thus it can be concluded that by discussing the results of continuous use in schools can improve the character of teacher discipline in SD 2 Barongan.

Effort to Improve the Competence of Teachers Applying Cultural Values in Learning Through Clinical Supervision in Jetis SD Lesson year 2018/2019.The objectives of this study are (1) Carry out clinical supervision to improve teacher competency in implementing the noble values of culture in learning at SD Jetis. (2) Knowing the increase in teacher competence in applying the noble values of culture in learning at SD Jetis.This study uses school action research. The research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The target of the study was the 6th grade teacher of SD Jetis which numbered three people in the 2018/2019 academic year. Data obtained through observations about the implementation of clinical supervision, RPP documents, and implementation of learning.The results of this study are (1) The teacher can arrange an implementation plan to insert the noble cultural values. This can be seen from the RPP products prepared by the teacher getting scores in good categories and increasing from cycle 1 to cycle 2 by 8% (2) Teachers can carry out learning by applying the noble values of culture with good category results and there is an increase of 9% from cycle 1 to cycle 2. Thus, it shows that through clinical supervision the competence of Jetis elementary school teachers in applying the noble values of culture in learning can increase.

This research is kind of an action research. The aim is to know increasing students’ reading inception by using card picture colour media is done entitled “Effort of increasing students reading inception by using card picture colour media of the first grade students of SD N Kategan Pundong Bantul in the academic year of 2018/2019”. Teaching learning process by using card colour media is effective to increase students inception reading by the first grade students of SD kategan Pundong Bantul. The result shows ability average score is 14,73 ( earlier 65,13 to 79,86). the number of criteria completness minimum score KKM is increase 44% or 9 students ( earlier score is 43% to 87%. The result of the research is appropriate of standard criteria is determined by average score class of 75 and average completneess score is 75 %.

In learning music, knowledge and skills to play music instruments are very important things. But in reality students of class VII A of SMP Negeri 1 Jetis Bantul are still low in knowledge and skills in playing music recorder instruments. Therefore the author tries to overcome this problem by using the Peer Tutorial method in learning on the material of playing a music recorder instrument. The objectives of this study are: (1) improving knowledge through learning the peer tutorial method on material playing music recorder instruments, (2) improving the ability to play music recorder instruments individually using the peer tutorial method. This research is a classroom action research using two cycles with a total of 32 students. Data collection techniques in this study used student observation, teacher observation, written tests, and practice tests. The results of class action research showed that the completeness of the written test of the first cycle was 71.88% and the second cycle was 90.63%. The results of the completeness of the practical test cycle I were 68.75% and the second cycle was 87.5%. The conclusion of this study is the method of learning peer tutorials can improve the knowledge of music art and skills to play music recorder instruments.

This study aims to determine whether there are differences in learning motivation before and after STAD and SN learning models are applied, whether there are differences in chemistry learning outcomes using the STAD learning model with SN if the initial knowledge is statistically controlled. This research is an experimental research. Determination of the sample using purposive random sampling, with class XI MIPA 1 and XI MIPA class 3. The design of this study was the design of two factors (2 learning models), two samples (experimental classes 1 and 2), and one covariable (initial knowledge). The research data in the form of chemistry initial knowledge data, learning motivation, and chemistry learning outcomes of experimental classes 1 and 2. Data were analyzed by t-test and analysis of covariance. T-test results with the experimental class 1 subjects there is no difference in learning motivation before and after STAD learning with Sig. (2-tailed) 0.117> 0.05. For the experimental class 2 there was no difference in learning motivation before and after SN and Sig. (2-tailed) 0.137> 0.05. The results of the different t-test subjects did not differ in the motivation to study chemistry that followed the learning of STAD and SN with Sig. (2-tailed) 0.569> 0.05. Anacova results obtained F = 15,373; Sig. <0.01, meaning that there are differences in chemistry learning outcomes using STAD learning with SN if initial knowledge is statistically controlled. It can be concluded that the STAD learning model is more effective in improving student chemistry learning outcomes in class XI of SMA N 1 Banguntapan in the 2019/2020 academic year compared to SN.

Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi pembelajaran sentence collection dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar menulis teks eksplanasi peserta didik XI MIPA-2 SMA Negeri 7 Yogyakarta tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Metode penelitian ini adalah cooperative learning dengan strategi sentence collection. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini dilakukan dengan dua siklus. Setap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu: a) persiapan, b) implementasi, c) observasi, dan d) refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan tes kinerja. Instrumen pengumpulan data meliputi lembar pengamatan aktivitas guru, lembar penilaian sikap, dan instrumen penilaian teks eksplanasi. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitaif untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil kinerja peserta didik dalam mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan strategi sentence collection. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pada prasiklus nilai rata-rata hanya 65,78, pada siklus 1 meningkat menjadi 76,75, dan pada siklus 2 meningkat menjadi 84,88. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran sentence colection dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar menulis teks eksplanasi.

Tujuan penelitian tindakan Sekolah ini adalah: 1) Meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam pembelajaran melalui supervise klinis di SD Sindet Kecamatan Jetis Kabupaten Bantul. 2) Menerapkan langkah-langkah bimbingan/supervisi klinis dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pembelajaran oleh guru. Metode Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah terdiri dari dua siklus, Dimana dalam prosedur setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Tehnik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, pengamatan, dan wawancara. Subjek penelitian adalah guru-guru SD Sindet Kecamatan Jetis Berjumlah 11 orang guru. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan antara lain: 1) Lembar observasi merencanakan kemampuan merencanakan pembelajaran (RPP), 2) Lembar observasi melaksanakan pembelajaran (PBM), (3). Lembar Observasi Penilaian terhadap proses pembelajaran. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam pembelajaran melalui supervisi klinis semester 1 tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 pada SD Sindet Kecamatan Jetis. Pada Siklus I hasil penilaian dalam menyusun RPP mencapai 70%, pelaksanaan PBM mencapai 82%, dan Penilaian Pembelajaran mencapai 79%. Di Siklus II Penyusunan RPP mencapai 82%, PBM mencapai 85%, dan Penilaian Pembelajaran mencapai 84%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian Tindakan sekolah yang terkait dengan penggunaan supervisi klinis untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam pembelajaran dapat diterik kesimpulan mengalami peningkatan atau meningkat.

This study aims to find out how to improve students' mathematical connection abilities in the Geometry Transformation material through the REACT strategy using batik motif media in class XI IPS 1 of SMA Negeri 7 Yogyakarta. This research is a classroom action research conducted during two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results showed that to improve students' mathematical connections can be done by: (a) relating, students are given the opportunity to link the material studied in Geometry Transformation with everyday life through real examples in the Student Activity Sheet containing geometric motifs in Yogyakarta batik. Every student is encouraged to express their opinions in solving problems, both in writing and orally; (b) experiencing, students are accustomed to building their own knowledge / concepts through the process of learning activities and teaching materials that have been prepared; (c) applying, students are trained to apply concepts to solve mathematical problems and problems from the daily lives of students; (d) cooperating, students are trained to make agreements to determine the best solution. If there are differences in the answers / solutions to a problem on individual tasks or group assignments then each group member must play an active role in achieving learning objectives; (e) transferring, students use the knowledge they have in a new context through the application of concepts obtained either in Mathematics problems or in real life related to Yogyakarta batik motifs.

The purpose of this study is to improve the activities and studying outcomes of Catholic religious education and character in basic competence for understanding the role and function of conscience so that it can act correctly and appropriately through the Discovery Learning Model. This research is a classroom action research study involving 10 Catholic students of XI IPS1 of SMA Negeri 1 Sedayu in 2019/2020. The action is carried out in two learning cycles. Data were collected using observational guidelines, tests in each cycle, and analyzed descriptively. The results showed that in the first cycle the average percentage of student learning activities amounted to 67.50% with classical completeness cognitive learning outcomes obtained by 60%, with an average value of learning outcomes of 77.5. In the second cycle the average percentage of student learning activities amounted to 90.63% with classical completeness of cognitive learning outcomes of 90%, with an average value of learning outcomes of 83.5. Thus the application of the use of the Discovery Learning Model can improve student learning activities and outcomes.
