Abstract

This research aims to find about stigma against youth with HIV/AIDS in Syair Sahabat Foundation. The research method used is qualitative. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, documentation and literature study. The subject in this study were the head of Syair Sahabat Fondation, youth with HIV/AIDS and society near Syair Sahabat Foundation. The result in this research are: 1. Society stigma against youth with HIV/AIDS is because they scared of also being infected HIV/AIDS, lack of knowledge about HIV/AIDS, aducational background and society factor. The stigma that occurs is because society think that youth with HIV/AIDS are dangerous people an have different values than normal society and their also have vialated the norms that apply in society. 2. In facing the society stigma, young people with HIV/AIDS feel sad because of discrimination from society, however they still have fighting spirit and motivated to continue their life because they have support from their families.

Abstract

Abstract— This study aims to determine the Frontliner Interpersonal Communication Strategy in the Service of Prospective Hajj Pilgrims at the Office of the Ministry of Religion Affairs of Madiun City. The method used in this research is the qualitative method. By using interviews in collecting data. Based on the research that has been done, the researchers draw the conclusion that interpersonal communication carried out by frontline employees of the Ministry of Religion Affairs of Madiun City when providing services to prospective Hajj pilgrims is in accordance with the research focus, namely: Openness, Empathy, Supportiveness, Positiveness, and Equality.

Abstract

This research is entitled The Strategies of Promotion From M’Bro Café and Resto During a Pandemic Through the Instagram Platform. The purpose of this research is to determine the growth and sales management of M'Bro Café and Resto. The approach method is used to draw conclusions based on the answers gathered from the interview in order to support the research. The data collection technique uses semi-structured interviews by getting some information through the Instagram platform, which emphasizes phenomena and issues during the pandemic that can enhance economic growth in the Madiun area. Through the direct interview conducted at M'Bro cafes and restos, it can be concluded that the creative contents that have been distributed to customers and the public increase the selling points through photos and videos, there by attracting customers to purchase food and beverages either through delivery, dine-in, or take away. This research proves that the management of M'Bro cafe and resto is committed to running the business consistently with an unyielding spirit, tenacity, and work ethic to maintain the values of the vision and mission of M'Bro cafe and resto..

Abstract

The existence of persons with disabilities in society is one of the important things to be considered by the state, or in this case the government, because persons with disabilities are part of the community who also have the same position, rights, obligations and roles. According to Law Number 8 of 2016 Article 1 paragraph 1, people with disabilities are defined as any person with physical, intellectual, mental, and/or sensory limitations in the long term who in interacting with the environment can experience obstacles. and difficulties to participate fully and effectively with other citizens on the basis of equal rights. However, the need for special treatment given to persons with disabilities is usually misunderstood by the general public which ultimately leads to acts of discrimination against groups of people with disabilities. Seeing the inequality in policies regarding people with disabilities in DI Yogyakarta, the CIQAL Foundation (Center for Improving Qualified Activity in Life of People with Disabilities) pays attention to fighting for the rights of people with disabilities by encouraging changes to laws and regulations in DI Yogyakarta. This research is a qualitative research with a literature study that uses books and other literatures as the main object (Hadi, 1995). The results of this study were two programs provided by the CIQAL Foundation for persons with disabilities in DI Yogyakarta, namely advocacy and empowerment programs.

Abstract

The objectives of this study were (1) to determine the strategy for developing micro-enterprises in Baderan Village, Geneng District, Ngawi Regency; (2) To find out the economic development of the village in Baderan Village, Geneng District, Ngawi Regency; and (3) To find out the inhibiting factors for micro-enterprise development and village economic development in Baderan Village, Geneng District, Ngawi Regency. This research is a quantitative descriptive study, the data obtained from the sample of the research population were analyzed according to the statistical method used and then interpreted. The purpose of this study was to determine the strategy of developing micro-enterprises, in order to improve the economy of rural communities in Baderan Village, Geneng District, Ngawi Regency. The population in the study was 50 people, which included (1) employees of the Department of Cooperatives and Micro Enterprises in Ngawi Regency as many as 12 people; (2) The Village Head and Baderan Village apparatus are 1 person and (3) Micro business actors in Baderan Village are 37 people. Data collection techniques in this study used a questionnaire, documentation and observation. While the data analysis in this study used descriptive analysis. Based on the analysis and interpretation of the data, the authors can convey the conclusions of the research results as follows: (1) The Strategy for Development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Baderan Village, Geneng District, Ngawi Regency is quite good; (2) Improvement of the Rural Economy in Baderan Village, Geneng District, Ngawi Regency is good; and (3) Inhibiting factors for the development of micro, small and medium enterprises and in Baderan Village include the low management capability of business actors. The research findings also show that the Department of Cooperatives and Micro Enterprises in Ngawi Regency has never provided guidance and training in improving management skills for Micro Enterprises in Baderan Village, Geneng District, Ngawi Regency. While the inhibiting factors for village economic development in Baderan Village, among others, are the quality of human resources, access to information and the low level of income of the population. Access to information obtained by the people of Baderan Village is still lacking in both quality and quantity. Access to information from various parties obtained by the people of Baderan Village, Geneng District, Ngawi Regency has good quality, but there are still some people who do not have good quality access to information. The quality of human resources in Baderan Village is still relatively low.

Abstract

In the world of work, the physical differences between men and women make the roles accepted by both of them are not the same. In society, this will always be associated with the phenomenon of gender stereotypes. Online motorcycle taxi drivers are one of the professions that are often used by most people. The ojol profession has a strong impression on men and is even considered unsuitable for women. This study aims to reveal how gender stereotypes are in the online motorcycle taxi driver profession. This method emphasizes more on descriptive research and more emphasis on detailed information analysis. The data analysis technique used is Miles and Huberman's data analysis. The data used is secondary data. Secondary data comes from literature sources such as journals, articles, theses, books, websites and other supporting sources. The results of the study show that in the online motorcycle taxi driver profession, gender stereotypes are found which have three forms, namely: first, the presence of a masculine identity and the distance from a feminine impression makes most women reluctant to become motorcycle taxi drivers. Second, online motorcycle taxi drivers are field work so they are considered difficult for women. Third, the ojol profession is seen as a high-risk job because of the many challenges that must be faced so that it is suitable for men. Abstract

Currently, online transportation has started to appear so that the many modes of transportation that exist at some point are able to make the problem of congestion unresolved. Usually traffic jams often occur on the main roads. This phenomenon finally made the Surabaya City Government issue a new policy, namely by providing public transportation services in the form of Suroboyo Bus. The existence of the Suroboyo Bus is also considered to have other positive impacts such as reducing the quantity of waste waste. Based on the illustration above, this study aims to reveal the pattern of waste reduction in the Suroboyo Bus transportation. This study used qualitative research methods. In addition, the data analysis technique in this study uses Miles and Huberman's data analysis. The data used is secondary data. Secondary data can be sourced from literary sources such as journals, articles, theses, books, websites or other supporting sources. The results show that the pattern of waste reduction is formulated through a payment system that uses waste such as bottles and plastic cups.

Abstract

Pancasila as the ideology of the Indonesian nation which is the standard of life in the social sphere. It is through this society that will shape one's character or personality. a good personality is always created from a good environment, but people who come from a bad environment do not always have a bad personality. It depends on how a person positions himself. At present there are many problems with young people which will serve as the main pillars of the nation's regeneration. What if the next generation fails to realize the ideals of a progressive nation? Of course this must be minimized in such a way, so that the lofty ideals of realizing the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia are maintained. Therefore it is important for every individual to have high self-awareness in optimizing the practice of Pancasila values. That is how important it is to reconstruct the creativity of youth and society to continue to bring out the spirit of a new ideology. Reconstruction of youth enthusiasm and creativity can be done by updating existing programs, or by adding human resources. Human resources that are more potential and qualified in their fields. This paper uses a qualitative research method with random interview data collection techniques to several youth who are active and not active in youth organizations.

Abstract

This study describes the lives of the people around alas purwo national park buffer village that has local wisdom. Man with his intelligence can create an order in relation to God, fellow human beings, as well as relationships with nature. The most basic and urgent value in reconstructing local wisdom is the correlation of Tri Hita Karana implementation with conservation rules. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative with case study design. The results showed that the community around Alas Purwo National Park area has local wisdom in the form of a number of traditions, rules or restrictions that are still valid for generations which are then maintained and obeyed until now in managing forests to remain sustainable

Abstract

The process of public participation involves the general public taking part in decision-making. Policy, strategy, communication, media for social issues, and social treatment all benefit from participation. It is known that a local initiator and members of the community worked together to create the Genilangit Tourism Park in the Poncol District of the Magetan Regency. With this in mind, every activity and program that runs in various capacities must be included in the construction of a public tourism village. The potential for development can be battled for and reaped jointly with the help of the community. In this study, it is determined how public involvement will affect the creation of a tourist village in 2021 in Genilangit Village, Poncol District, Magetan Regency. Because this tourist destination is growing quickly and is in high demand from visitors outside the city, it was chosen as a research subject. An explanatory quantitative methodology was used in this investigation. 100 respondents were given questionnaires to complete in order to gather the research's findings. According to the study's findings, there was a STRONG link between the two variables, with a result of 0.504 indicating that the association's strength was between 0.5 and 0.75. In this instance, it is possible to deduce that Ho is refused whereas Ha is approved, indicating a connection between community involvement and the creation of a tourist town in Genilangit Village., Poncol District, Magetan Regency, 2021.
