Abstract

Duwur Waterfall at Bumisari is a village located in the district Bojongsari Purbalingga. Bumisari Village has a natural tourist destination that is Curug Duwur managed by Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDES). This tourism object is still in the development stage. The development that has been done is still limited to infrastructure, and one of the things that have not been touched is the promotional media. Methods in the activities used to develop further, especially in attracting visitors are interviews, discussions, observations, and pre-design maps. The writing team also prepared the development through the construction of entrance gates, the improvement of facilities, and the creation of 3D location maps. The results of the development carried out in addition to the form of physical facilities in the form of entrance gates, coloring ladder to waterfalls, also made promotional media through the internet by creating a website with a url http://curugduwurbumisari.blogspot.com, the addition of addresses on google maps and the addition of 3D location maps that have obtained HAKI with the Number EC00202126412. The results of the development increased the number of visitors which originally averaged 350 people per month to 750 people in one month of development. These results show that the addition of gates, improvements in facilities and the creation of maps and internet promotional media affect increasing the number of visitors).

Abstract

UKM Sehati which is used as a partner in this PKM has problems that are of special concern to find solutions. Partners do not have permanent employees who can maintain product quality, so processed products are often different from the previous taste and texture. Employees do not have extensive knowledge of recording and bookkeeping, so that the resulting financial statements are not in accordance with accounting standards. The production equipment used is still simple, both for processing aleksis (krispi catfish) and shredded catfish. The sealer machine for gluing the packaging is too small, causing the product resistance to be not optimal. The marketing that has been done has not touched the online market. The product does not yet have a halal label and nutritional value information so that the product cannot enter minimarkets and even supermarkets. Mitra's knowledge of catfish farming as a raw material has not been maximized, which causes the catfish mortality rate to reach 15%. Based on the findings regarding the problem, the priority is to find solutions to problems in improving various aspects. Among them are managerial aspects related to finance and human resources in an effort to increase community capacity. Furthermore, the technological aspects in an effort to improve product quality. Changes in marketing aspects towards digitalization and broader marketing aspects by obtaining halal labels and information on nutritional values. The specific goals and targets in this community service are to assist Sehati SMEs in improving product quality and competitiveness through the use of technology and managerial management. The method used in an effort to implement the solution above is by holding partner bookkeeping training every 2 weeks, training on the use of deep frying machines, ADR MPD 140 machines and sealer machines (so that product durability is longer and the production process is more effective and efficient), making management information system, create social media (facebook and instagram), join various e-commerce (shopee, Bukalapak, tokopedia and others), create product information website, participate in culinary exhibitions and bazaars, facilitate the inclusion of halal logos and value information nutrition in packaging, and holding training on catfish farming so that the results are maximized. The output produced is in the form of publications in the form of journals and intellectual property rights.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out in Kelurahan, Cijagra, Lengkong District, Bandung City, 40253 with the target of PT. Askrida Insurance Bandung. Based on interviews and observations, the problems faced by partners today are the amount of premium rates that are difficult to compete with similar companies, poor work governance that requires employees to work overtime every day and the slow delivery of services to customers. This program has the following objectives: 1) improving the welfare of the community through the improvement of healthy financial institutions, especially insurance 2) improving the skills and professionalism of the community 3) increasing business efficiency for partners so that they are able to compete and serve the community better. This activity uses two approaches, namely the training and mentoring approach. The training approach includes: 1) job analysis training; 2) training on work load analysis (work load analysis); and 3) skills training for the preparation of staffing model guidelines. While the mentoring methods include: 1) assistance in conducting job analysis; 2) workload analysis assistance; 3) assistance in the preparation of staffing model guidelines. The results of this community service activity have an impact on clients to be able to organize their employees well, so as to improve business efficiency and serve the community better.

Abstract

The world is currently in shock with the emergence of the corona virus known as COVID-19. The virus, which was first discovered in the city of Wuhan, China at the end of December 2019, spreads quickly and has spread throughout the world, including Indonesia. The increasing growth of the corona virus has spread to various aspects of life, from the economic field to the religious aspect. Muslims who usually carry out various congregational prayers freely in mosques are now no longer happening, even mosques are considered as one of the clusters for the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Considering these conditions, we are called to provide assistance in implementing risk management in mosques by providing knowledge and understanding about the importance of prevention and risk management efforts and providing the equipment needed to support the implementation of risk management in places of worship. By assisting the implementation of this risk management, the awareness of the congregation can increase through the implementation of carrying out risk management practices on a regular and sustainable basis so that the prevention of the spread of the Covid-19 virus can be suppressed and religious activities can continue.

Abstract

The purpose of this service is to provide training to manage business profits for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSEs) in the Bandung area as many as 200 participants. The implementation method is carried out virtually via zoom us where at the end of the session participants are given the opportunity to ask questions related to problems in managing finances. The material provided is related to the stages in managing finances, namely: separate business capital from own capital, all recorded correctly, financial statements are prepared including statements of financial position, comprehensive income statements, statements of changes in equity and cash flow statements. This is done so that business operations are well controlled. This activity is organized by the Accounting Student Association (HMAk UNIKOM). The result of this service is that the participants of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSEs) are greatly helped in managing their business profits. The material presented becomes the basis for participants in improving their business financial records. The participants were also given additional material in using social media to market their products, The conclusion of this activity is very beneficial for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSEs) actors in managing their business finances so that the sustainability of their business is maintained. Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan Pengabdian pada Masyarakat yang berjudul Public Speaking for Public Life adalah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya softskills (social skills), terutama bagi para mahasiswa atau pembelajar dalam aktifitas keseharian mereka. Penelitian ini memaparkan keterampilan-keterampilan sosial apa yang dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas interaksi pembelajar di masyarakat serta untuk meningkatkan rasa percaya diri pembelajar. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah melalui diskusi interaktif secara daring pada tanggal 24 April 2021. Diskusi ini dihadiri oleh berbagai peserta; mahasiswa Sastra Inggris Unikom, Perwakilan AIYA West Java Chapter, dan peserta umum. Hasil dari diskusi ini kemudian dipaparkan secara kualitatif dan sistematis dalam penulisan artikel ini. Hasil diskusi memperlihatkan adanya peningkatan keawasaan peserta diskusi terkait dengan keterampilan sosial yang dibutuhkan dalam berinteraksi. Keterampilan sosial yang disoroti pada bagian diskusi dan interaksi adalah rasa percaya diri, berpengetahuan, dan berempati. Ketiga keterampilan sosial tersebut dapat dikatakan sebagai keterampilan dasar dalam berinteraksi dengan orang lain karena dapat memotivasi pembelajar untuk berbicara dengan pengetahuan yang memadai dan pada saat yang sama memahami apa yang dibutuhkan/tidak dibutuhkan dalam suatu interaksi sosial. Berdasarkan hasil diskusi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa belajar public speaking bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan tidak hanya nilai diri sendiri namun juga interaksi sosial di masyarakat. Abstract

ABSTRAK Literasi media diargumentasikan mampu meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi sosial para calon profesional muda. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini ditujukan untuk meningkatkan kecakapan mereka mengakses, menganalisis, mengevaluasi, dan membuat produk media melalui program pendampingan gerakan literasi media; suatu program yang memanfaatkan kekuatan bahasa dan media untuk mengurangi dampak negatif yang dimilikinya. Program ini dimulai dari bulan Januari sampai Agustus 2021, beranggotakan dosen dan dua orang mahasiswa Program Studi Sastra Inggris Universitas Komputer Indonesia. Tahapan pelaksanaan program meliputi: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, dan pelaporan. Program ini diikuti oleh mahasiswa dan lulusan perguruan tinggi. Produk media yang dihasilkan menandai keberhasilan program ini. Eskpresi bahasa berterima yang diproduksi dan diunggah di media sosial instagram mendapatkan sambutan baik dan memotivasi pengguna internet untuk membuat produknya sendiri. Adapun indikator ketercapaian diindikasikan melalui kemampuan peserta menggunakan bahasa baik dalam produk medianya, dan mempersuasi pengguna lain menanggapi pesan dari produk media tersebut. Abstract

In nation building, health is one of the basic and important elements. Poor health conditions cause humans to be unable to regulate their own lifestyle and development in their area. As an emerging physiological syndrome in public health, frailty is a predictive factor of negative health outcomes, such as increased risk of death, decreased activities of daily living. So, in this Community Service activity, it aims to form a community that has knowledge and abilities, especially the elderly, especially in the health sector. The village that will be assisted by Community Service is Banjaransari Village, Cikijing District, Majalengka Regency, this village has more than 50 people (residents aged over 65 years) and is one of the villages with a large elderly population. The method used in this service is quantitative descriptive. The service is carried out in the form of implementing a healthy and active lifestyle: Elderly gymnastics, memory exercises and games, health education for the elderly. through how to form a healthy soul, improve the abilities and skills of the elderly, especially in Majalengka, namely Banjaransari village. The conclusion is that elderly parents have a productive spirit by doing activities to fill their spare time with physical activities such as elderly gymnastics, and making Family Medicinal Plants (Toga) in flower pots or in the yard. and set an example for the surrounding community to build their village for a better future for the nation and state. Abstract

Jambugeulis Village is one of the villages in Kuningan Regency whose people generally have a livelihood as farmers and day laborers. Apart from being farmers and daily laborers, the people of Jambugeulis village also have jobs as traders and home-made food makers. There are several types of home-cooked food produced by the people of Jambugeulis village, including moring (a type of small cracker made from tapioca flour), cassava tape food, and cuhcur cake. The people of Jambugeulis village in the process of marketing traditional food products still use conventional methods, namely by selling products directly to consumers and in collaboration with traditional food gift shops. The conventional sales process has several shortcomings/weaknesses including the marketing process of traditional food products is still limited only in Kuningan Regency, the profit of the Jambugeulis village community is slightly reduced from the normal selling price due to a reduction in distribution costs. The difficulty of access for consumers from outside the Kuningan Regency to buy/obtain traditional food products from Jambugeulis village. With this fact, the author feels compelled to carry out business management training with marketplace techniques by utilizing the latest developments in information technology. The methods implemented in this community service activity are the Lecture method, the Question and Answer method, and the Simulation method. From the results of the activities that have been carried out, participants are very enthusiastic about participating in the activities and understand the importance of business management by utilizing marketpalce. Abstract

In the current digital era, business actors need new strategies to survive in business competition, one of which is by following the development of e-commerce in order to expand the market. Triple 3 Music Bandung is a small business engaged in selling musical instruments and podcasts. The aim of this article was to convey understanding to Triple 3 Music Bandung and other parties about the business development. The method chosen in this Community Service activity was to conduct interviews with the owner of Triple 3 Music Bandung and make observations on these businesses in order to determine business development strategies using Business Model Canvas analysis. The result of this activity is the proposed of a new strategy that can be implemented in the development of the Triple 3 Music Bandung business based on the nine elements in the Business Model Canvas. The business strategy that has been implemented by the business owner of Triple 3 Music Bandung is quite good, however, it is necessary to develop a business strategy to maximize potential. It is hoped that with the new business strategy, Triple 3 Music Bandung can strengthen its market position and can increase its competitive advantage in competition with similar businesses so as to improve business performance.
