Abstract

This study is aimed to analyze business model, internal external environment and formulate alternative strategies in UD. Salacca based on Business Model Canvas. The methods of research used are descriptive qualitative method. The data was obtained through secondary data and primary data. Data collected through depth interviews, observation and focus group discussion. The sampling method used was purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using the SWOT and BMC. The results showed that SWOT has Strengths (S), South Tapanuli is the salak production center in North Sumatra. Weaknesses (W) such as some products are not always available and cannot meet large-scale demand or exports; venture capital, technology and labor are still limited; there is no official cooperation contract with suppliers, customers and distributors. Therefore, BMC now needs to be improved by utilizing Opportunities (O) including the assistance from the Government in the form of counseling, training and mentoring of the production machinery business; product promotion facilities at trade shows / festivals and also trade sites; other than that the product has been in demand by domestic and foreign tourists; The business already has a link to export products. So as to be able to face the Threat (T) of many competing products that use substitute raw materials and more sophisticated production technology resulting in consumers not loyal. The resulting alternative strategies are increasing consumer reach and business scale; improvement of production facilities and infrastructure; improving services with consumers; partnerships with distributors and souvenir vendors; increase capital, technology and labor.

Abstract

In Bengkulu Province, the area of coffee plantations reached 124,510 hectares spread in several districts with production reaching 60,790.08 tons per year (BPS, 2018). Most coffee production (Coffea Spp) is produced by smallholder farmers. Nearly a quarter of the coffee production was produced by Rejang Lebong Regency, namely: 13,459 tons with a total plantation area of 27,828.12 hectares of coffee plantations. Constraints in the development of coffee are in the case of coffee marketing channels that have not been maximized by farmers, transportation due to the topography of the area and the location of the factory that is far away, low marketing production, quality of coffee (quality ), and capital that influences the selling price of the coffee. This situation is certainly inseparable from the influence of the factors of the coffee industry production itself, namely in the form of capital, raw materials, labor, transportation, marketing and income of business owners that also affect the income of workers. For this reason, researchers are interested in researching the marketing channels of Coffee in Rejang Regency. Lebong, and analyze the efficiency of the Coffee marketing channel in Rejang Lebong Regency. From the results of the study, it was found that the coffee marketing channel occurred in Rejang Lebong Regency had 5 types of marketing channels. Marketing margins and the biggest profits are obtained by large traders.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the revenue, cost, income, business efficiency of aromatic rice and the level of satisfaction of consumers of aromatic rice in Seluma District. The data used uses primary data in the form of data on characteristics of farmer households who are members of Rimbo Jaya Gapoktan, inputs used, production, farmer work activities and rice cultivation that produce aromatic rice, aromatic rice receipts and expenditure and marketing and consumer behaviour data. This study uses analysis of TR, TC, I and R / C, while for consumer satisfaction using IPA and CSI analysis. The results showed that the acceptance of aromatic rice farmers in Rimbo Kedui Village was Rp. 15,424,000 with an average land area of 0.68 Ha. This acceptance is high. The cost of aromatic rice farming in Rimbo Kedui Village is Rp. 7.678.392/MT/MT. The income of aromatic rice farming in Rimbo Kedui Village is Rp. 7.497.357/MT. Cost efficiency is 2.00. This means that the financing of aromatic rice farming is efficient. From the level of importance and performance of the attributes of product quality and service quality, there are no attributes that enter into quadrant I. This means that consumer expectations are in accordance with the performance given. The consumer satisfaction index value is 82.50%. This means that consumers feel very satisfied with Beras Sehat Aromatik products (BSA).

Abstract

The purpose of this research first is to evaluate the performance of Usaha Perbenihan Kecil (Small Breeding Businesses =UPK) from the perspective of financial, customers, internal business process, as well as learning and growth. The second objective is to identify the factors that performance in supporting the success of UPK solutions and fix the problem. Two UPKs are cencused and interviewed, namely, UPK Karya Mandiri and UPK Karya Tani. Balanced Scorecards (BSC) is applied to measure financial and non-financial performances. The results show that performances of two UPKS are categorized a good performance in all perspectives, with exception to MCE index. This indicates that both UPKs should continouesly improve their internal business.

Abstract

This study attempts to make the profile of the "jamu traditional" business in Bengkulu City. This research used the survey method and had done from August till December 2017. This research used descriptive analysis, R/C ratio, and Return on Investment analysis. The owners stay in 7 sub-district in Bengkulu City. Sub-District Ratu Agung is the location in which most owners stay there. The are dominates women and in the age group 45-54 years old. They have the average experience 24, 23 years with educational level still just elementary school. At once the production process issued cost Rp. 75.750,15 while the income Rp. 189.000. R/C ratio 2,49 and return on investment 149,5%. So this business appropriate to do so. The owners have positive perception and hight motivation with their business.
