POIMEN Jurnal Pastoral Konseling (PJPK), adalah Jurnal Ilmiah dari Prodi Pastoral Konseling diambil dari istilah Yunani berarti “gembala” yang menjadi esensi dari output Pastoral Konseling sehingga mendapatkan outcome sebagai peneliti dalam kajian Teologi Pastoral Konseling yang berkualitas, kritis, inovatif, empati dan ilmiah serta tetap bersumber pada Yesus Kristus sebagai Gembala yang Baik dan sumber hikmat, POIMEN Jurnal Pastoral Konseling (PJPK) menerima artikel yang berkonsentrasi penelitian dibidang : Teologi Pastoral Konseling Studi Konseling Kristen Artikel yang dikirimkan adalah artikel yang belum pernah atau tidak sedang dalam proses publikasi dalam jurnal yang lain. Semua artikel yang terkirim wajib mengikuti petunjuk penulisan atau gaya selingkung yang telah ditetapkan. Abstract

The church is in the midst of changing times. In that position the church must not lose its role as aguide for the people. The role of guiding the people is a pastoral role called pastoral counseling. To answer tha, the church’s creativity is needed in terms of carrying out pastoral counseling. One of them is by exploring the richness of lokal wisdom where the church serves. The Mĕdĕdal᷊inggĕho model is one of them because in this local wisdom the content of pastoral care values is presented which is relevant to the context of this dynamic church service such as the basis of is implementation is love and concern for others displays the function of pastoral counseling and empowers church members to become counselors for others by penetrating difference boundaries

Abstract

This study aims to examine the meaning of life from the views of paramedics and religious leaders about cancer patients at Ken Saras Hospital, Ungaran. This research is motivated by the fact that most cancer patients lose the meaning of their life. This study applies a descriptive qualitative research approach. Interviews and observations were used to collect data. This research shows that cancer patients need support and assistance to be able to rediscover the meaning of their lives. They can get this support and assistance from various parties, namely families, paramedics and religious leaders. This paper is expected to help families, paramedics and religious leaders to be able to provide support and assistance to cancer patients so that they can rediscover the meaning of their lives. For this purpose, the authors focus on Ken Saras Hospital which treats cancer patients. The author hopes that the results of this study can be a reference for families, paramedics and religious leaders to provide support and assistance to cancer patients in order to find the meaning of their lives.

Abstract

Elderly or commonly referred to as elderly is someone who has entered the final stages of the life phase. Elderly is an advanced stage of a life process characterized by a decrease in the body's ability to adapt to environmental stress. The aging process is characterized by visible and invisible physiological changes. In old age there are several problems faced by the elderly, namely, economic problems, social problems, health problems, psychosocial problems, and changes in interest in old age. The problem of interest and desire in the elderly is one of the most disturbing problems for themselves and those around them. Pastoral ministry takes a big place in supporting the existence of the elderly. Pastoral Accompaniment Service is a dimension of the church that needs to be carried out bearing in mind that throughout its life span, people will not be separated from crises or unexpected problems. Mentoring or accompanying is an activity that can help counselees. In this elderly period requires special attention, because of the increasingly weak physical abilities and various diseases that the elderly may suffer. The approach in this study is to use this research usingdescriptive qualitative which seeks to describe a social phenomenon. The object of research is the elderly in the Ranomuut Nursing Home.

Abstract

The correct parenting style can educate and teach children to grow into successful individuals according to what is expected, therefore the role of parents in educating and understanding children's problems is very important. The purpose of this research is, how parents as servants of God (pastors) can understand childcare patterns, and can understand the problems of teenagers, and also know how to deal with any negative behavior or when the child makes a mistake. The researchers used descriptive qualitative research and collected data through observation and interviews with 3 boys aged 17 years who had parents as servants of God (pastors) in Manado, researchers also conducted a literature study on parenting styles. Researchers use the theory of Edwin Charis to analyze and present ideas of thought in parenting. From this research found, two concepts of thought. The First, How can parents understand every problem of teenagers. The Second, how to deal with children's negative behavior and educate their personality to match expectations, as well as ways to cultivate obedience to children, and how to discipline children, and the right way to give attention with ears that can always listen.

Abstract

Postpartum depression or postpartum depression is experienced by mothers who get more pressure in their lives after giving birth. A mother who is not ready mentally, physically, economically and spiritually is very vulnerable to experiencing postpartum depression. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative which seeks to describe a social phenomenon, where the data collected is first explained, then analyzed and formulated. This study aims to show the role of pastoral counseling for mothers who experience depression, specifically for adolescents aged less than 20 years. A woman who will give birth should be aged 20 years and over in order to reduce the depressions that appear and other disorders.

Abstract

The family is a place where each family member grows and flourishes, a family might be likened to a house that must correlate between every aspect of the element in it. Relationships not only talk about relationships but also talk about correlation that must have a connection between each other. Family circumstances should also emphasize an awareness of the essence of each member of the family, one that must be marked by definite and precise limits on application. A single upbringing is something that has to be associated with essence and boundaries that can set a specific goal. It is essentially the goal of taking control of and fulfilling the duties of each individual inside, that love always hates the basis of the application of foster care, but understanding of excessive affection can lead to parents in providing deviant foster care such as helicopter parenting. In the study researchers would like to try to explore more deeply the matter of the care of the helicopter's helicopter pattern is supported by qualitative and cemented research approaches with a pastoral case-counseling approach. This heatophic fabrication if it is left to disrupt the stability of the family and impact on mental issues that can last personally acceptable.

Abstract

The pastor has a very important influence on his church. The leadership of a pastor in a church will affect the growth that occurs in the church. A healthy church is a growing church. However, pastors sometimes neglect to provide guidance so that the church does not grow. If there is no action, an appropriate method of counseling is applied in the church, it will cause a more complicated problem. The purpose of this study is to reveal the role of the pastor on leadership and growth in the church. The problems in this study are as follows: What is the role of the pastor on church leadership and growth in the perspective of pastoral counseling?. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results used in this study indicate a form of pastoral counseling method given by the pastor to congregation members as leaders and to increase church growth. The existence of pastoral counseling can help the pastor's role in leadership in the church and display a superior character, trustworthy attitude and role model in growing the church.
