Abstract

The research aimed to produce an effective developmental model of logotherapy counseling toimprove the low self-esteem of women victims of traffi cking. The research employed descriptiveanalyticalmethod, using quasi-experiment because it aimed to describe, analyze, and test theeffectiveness of logotherapy counseling model. The activities of the research consisted of aseries of model validity test, namely model rationality test, model practicability test, limitedtest and fi eld test; hence, the research used research and development, participatory approach,and a mix of qualitative and quantitative research. The techniques of data collection used wereinterview, questionnaire, and observation. The results of the research demonstrated that the useof logotherapy counseling as an intervention program for the experimental group was moreeffective and had given better results in the dynamics of behavior changes among women victimsof traffi cking. The effectiveness was also proven by the results of observation and interview,showing positive values in the dynamics of victims’ behavior changes. Logotherapy counselingmodel has its strengths in self-exploration, self-acceptance, dissociation, self-transcendence,attitudinal values, and self-awareness, which are integrated with self-potential, self-activity andself-evaluation, so that the model can trigger positive changes among the women victims oftraffi cking. Therefore, there should be a training manual of logotherapy counseling model forsocial workers in order to improve both conceptual and empirical aspects of treatment, wherethe former focuses on material comprehension, problem and skill development; and the latteron technique, counseling strategy and approach.Keywords: Effectiveness, Model Development, Logotherapy Counseling, Low Self- Esteem,Women Victims of Trafficking

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji tradisi naketi sebagai salah satu sarana pemaafan bagi suku Dawan dilihat dari aspek tahap-tahap pemaafan dan dimensi pemaafan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Partisipan berjumlah dua keluarga suku Dawan yang pernah menggunakan naketi dalam menyelesaikan konflik dalam keluarga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tahap pemaafan pada kasus kedua keluarga ini memiliki proses dan waktu yang berbeda-beda hingga akhirnya pada tahap pemaafan. Pada dimensi pemaafan, kasus pertama menunjukkan pemaafan pada dimensi interpersonal sedangkan pada dimensi intrapsikis khususnya pada aspek emosi, partisipan belum sepenuhnya memaafkan. Kasus kedua, baik secara dimensi intrapsikis maupun dimensi interpersonal partisipan telah memaafkan seutuhnya. Tradisi naketi menjadi salah satu sarana bagi suku Dawan dalam menyelesaikan masalah, termasuk konflik yang terjadi dalam keluarga sehingga terjadinya pemaafan serta perdamaian dalam keluarga.

Abstract

Oko mama merupakan satu kearifan lokal yang dihidupi oleh masyarakat Timor Amarasi. Ketika menyelesaikan masalah dengan tidak membawa oko mama, maka akan adanya penolakan, tidak bersedia untuk menyelesaikan masalah, perasaan marah, perasaan tidak dihargai, dan munculnya emosi negatif yang lain, bahkan bisa memperbesar masalah tersebut serta menjadi bahan perbincangan masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk budaya oko mama dan ritualnya, serta dinamika pemaafan menggunakan budaya oko mama dalam konteks permasalahan yang terjadi Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Hasilnya ialah oko mama menjadi acuan pertama atau stimulus bagi seseorang untuk masuk dan menghadirkan situasi yang baik bagi orang lain dan ritual-ritual yang dilakukan menjadi pendukung untuk mencapai pemaafan. Selain itu, budaya ini menampilkan aspek emosional, kognisi dan interpersonal. Kesimpulannya, oko mama bisa menjadi satu simbol budaya dan rangkaian ritualnya membantu seseorang dalam mengelola aspek emosional, kognisi dan interpersonal. Meskipun demikian, ditemukan bahwa proses penyelesaian masalah yang dilakukan hanya difokuskan untuk memperbaiki hubungan interpersonal dan terdapat beberapa proses terkait dengan budaya oko mama yang juga diabaikan atau tidak digunakan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine logo counseling model in improving low spiritual self-esteem problem for college students. This research used descriptive method and quasi-experiment method with a non-equivalent pre-test-post-test control group design. The results then analyzed from the statistical significance and the practical significance. The result showed that logo counseling model could improve low spiritual self-esteem among college students, indicated by statistical significance of tcount (43.851) > ttable (2.144) and N-gain of the experimental group (0.75) > N-gain of the control group (0.15) and practical significance of positive attitude, behavior and value changes. Recommendation also given for related agencies to implement logo counseling model in training program and for further research by related experts in the field.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop the client-counselor interaction monitoring model of the logo counseling website. The model attempts to help counselors in guiding and helping the students (clients) to achieve healthy self-esteem. Machine learning techniques integrated into the model will ensure that the recommendations can be available for counselors and supervisors in the near real-time environment. For the first implementation, a chatbot application is developed and tested with excellent responses from the students. Further research is needed to implement the complete specifications of the interaction monitoring model on the logo counseling website.

Abstract

Logo counseling is a counseling model specifically to treat low spiritual self-esteem problem affecting the life and attitudes of college students. Nevertheless, the problem relies on distance, time, and psychological burdens which preventing face-to-face logo counseling. By reviewing past research regarding online counseling practices, the innovative model for online logo counseling was designed and then demonstrated via logo counseling website. There are four objectives and thirty-five specifications defined in the model. The result showed that logo counseling website is helpful and easy to understand. Further research needed to address the issue of security and confidentiality, furthermore future research needed to examine the integration of text-mining and multimedia analysis techniques to better helping counselors in online counseling intervention.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis makna hidup anak korban broken home usia 12-18 tahun dari perspektif logo konseling di Galala-Hative Kecil Ambon. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keprihatinan terhadap kebutuhan dan permasalahan yang dihadapi anak-anak korban broken home. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode deskriptif melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara mendalam dan observasi lapangan. Anak korban broken home memahami makna hidup sebagai suatu keburukan, kehancuran, kesendirian, kebebasan, kenikmatan, ketidakpercayaan diri dan ketidakbermaknaan. Menyikapi temuan tersebut, logo konseling membantu anak korban broken home mengembangkan kesadaran diri, penerimaan diri, ketegasan diri, tujuan hidup, tanggung jawab diri, integritas diri dan makna hidup. Dengan itu, logo konseling memberdayakan anak korban broken home dapat memperoleh pemaknaan hidup dibalik keterpurukan hidupnya melalui: 1) nilai-nilai sikap sebagai sumber kekuatan menyikapi kondisi dan masalah yang dialami anak korban broken home; 2) tanggung jawab yang berhubungan dengan pengendalian dan pengembangan diri anak korban broken home; 3) transendensi diri untuk melakukan transformasi nilai dan modifikasi sikap; 4) kompetensi dan integritas diri untuk mengeksplor nilai-nilai sikap; dan 5) kesadaran untuk menemukan makna dan tujuan hidupnya. Penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk meninjau efektivitas model logo konseling terutama untuk kalangan anak korban broken home.

Abstract

Violence towards women in the personal realm continues to occur in all provinces in Indonesia. The phenomenon of violence in the personal realm is experienced more by women due to fear, guilt, shame, and feeling that they have no support socially or individually. This study aims to determine the forgiveness approach as a form of recovery for women who experience violence in the personal realm. This research is a theoretical study using secondary data. The results of this theoretical study show that victims who experience violence can be recovered through forgiveness approach to express forgiveness for perpetrators. Forgiveness can be done because the victims have motivation not to avoid and respond to acts of violence perpetrated by the perpetrators, and even continues to be motivated to do good things. If forgiveness is done sincerely, it can make easier for the victims to forgive themselves and others, otherwise forgiveness is difficult to do totally if the victims choose to take revenge and avoid the perpetrators.

Abstract

This study aims are to describe and analyse the important value of Fua Tulu Ceremonial for the Society.  This value produce an efficient ritual accompaniment, starting from congregation guilding in Sesawi Oekamusa curch as a part of Mnelalete citizens. The method were used is qualitative approach in which be described. This study applies the development of qualitative research methods and library research. Collecting data is done by interview, observation and theoretical review. The result and discussion of this paper describe and analyze the important social values in this ritual for the community. This exploration can be an effective accompaniment model to improving the communities self confidence, not only of their own personality strength, but also of their environment potency, utilize the togetherness trait of congregation. It is valuable for such positive behavioral, from pessimistic and hopeless sensivity to optimistic and hopefull personal. The curch and also other kind of partnership be recommended to use Fua Tulu accompaniment.  The advance of Fua Tulu as pastoral support could be the strengthness of the curch to addresse the agriculture matters and also to prevent other problems. The author recommends to other researcher to complement this kind of ritual accompaniment.

Abstract

Each region certainly has its own past stories in the early church. In this case, the individual or group begins to remember something that happened in themselves and he can do memory activities while talking, listening and many other ways of remembering. Congregations in the current era, in understanding the meaning of togetherness in allied life, have begun to erode and fade. The purpose of this study is to describe the collective memory heritage of the congregation and to develop a counselling approach to promote congregational development. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical pattern. From the results of the research, the authors see that the church today is in dire need of counselling assistance in church development. The integrity of a congregation is highly expected for every individual and group through fellowship that is carried out within the scope of the church and society in increasing harmonious and peaceful life. AbstrakSetiap daerah tentu memiliki cerita-cerita masa lalu tersendiri pada jemaat mula-mula. Dalam hal ini, individu atau kelompok mulai mengingat-ingat sesuatu yang terjadi dalam diri pribadinya dan ia dapat melakukan aktivitas mengingat-ingat ketika sedang berbicara, mendengarkan dan masih banyak lagi cara mengingat-ingat lainnya. Jemaat di era saat ini, dalam memahami arti kebersamaan dalam hidup bersekutu sudah mulai terkikis dan memudar. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan warisan memori kolektif jemaat Adang dan mengembangkan pendekatan konseling untuk meningkatkan pembangunan jemaat Adang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif dengan pola deskriptif-analitis. Dari hasil penelitian penulis melihat bahwa jemaat Adang saat ini sangat membutuhkan pendampingan konseling dalam pembangunan jemaat. Keutuhan suatu jemaat sangat di harapkan bagi setiap individu maupun kelompok melalui persekutuan yang dilakukan dalam lingkup gereja maupun masyarakat dalam meningkatkan hidup rukun dan damai.
